Autos / Is Nnpc Mega Station Pms (petrol) Of Lower Quality? by kajad(m): 6:25pm On Jun 22, 2011
My Friend told me that he noticed that his car (A 04 Nissan Murano) stalls sometimes when tries to accelerate from a lower gear.
His Mechanic advised him to exhaust the fuel in his tank that he bought from NNPC Mega Station and to subsequently buy from other multinational filling stations as NNPC sales low quality fuel. He confessed that the stalling has stopped after taking the advice.

Is it possible? Does anyone have a similar experience?

Rochas is a fed contractor and he also owns a haulage company.

Okay, The biggest value contract government gives is Road Construction. Does he have a company in the neighborhood of Julius Berger?
A Haulage Company, good, a Fedex or DHL sized one?.  Can that fund and keep at least 4 boarding schools completely free in every way?
Politics / What Industry Does Rochas Have, How Did He Make His Money? by kajad(m): 11:25am On May 10, 2011
I went to visit my friend over the weekend.

He congratulated me on the great change in Imo State and then asked me a question that left me short for words. It began like this “your Governor Elect Rochas Okorocha is a great philanthropist with schools for the indigent in almost all the geo political zones in Nigeria” “yes” I answer. Then he asked “Apart from building the schools, how does he get the fund to, maintain, feed, and clothe the pupils including buying of books and salaries to teachers?” while I was pondering over this; He continued “I can relate with Dangote, Otedola or Mike Adenuga. What industry does Rochas have, how did he make his money?” I thought for a while and reminded him that Rochas has a big hotle in Abuja called La Monde. He corrected me that the hotel is a recent acquisition of 2008. That is where I ran short of words……, Will someone help me get my goove back pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee?

Please Note that I came across this on FB and it got me wondering too. Can someone give us the answers?

Religion / Nigerian Sharia Court Judge Bans Amputation Discussion On Facebook, Twitter by kajad(m): 10:07am On Mar 24, 2010
Sharia Judge Bans Amputation Discussion on Facebook, Twitter
From Imam Imam in Kaduna, 03.24.2010

A curious order emanating from a Sharia judge in Kaduna State is seeking to gag users in a forum launched recently on an amputation case on Facebook and Twitter.

Justice Lawal Muhammed of Magajin Gari Sharia Court in Kaduna has ordered social networking sites - Facebook and Twitter - to stop discussions on the amputation of Buba Bello Jangebe until the determination of the suit instituted by the Association of Muslim Brotherhood of Nigeria.

The restraining order is the first of its kind in Nigeria where a court seeks to interfere in the freedom of interaction and activities of people online.
It is not clear how the restraining order would be enforced.

But it has been delivered to the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, the non-governmental organisation (NGO) that opened the discussion on Sharia law and Jangebe on Facebook and Twitter recently.

Court documents obtained by THISDAY in Kaduna confirmed the ruling of Justice Muhammed.
“An order is hereby given restraining the respondents (CRC) either by themselves or their agents from opening a chat forum on Facebook, Twitter, or any blog for the purpose of the debate on the amputation of Malam Buba Bello Jangebe,” the document read.

Jangebe was the first person to have his right wrist amputated on the orders of a Sharia court in Zamfara State, a year after 12 Northern states adopted the strict Islamic penal code during the President Olusegun Obasanjo administration.

In an interview with THISDAY, President of the CRC Shehu Sani said the group would challenge the order at a higher court. He said the order tramples on his right to free speech and freedom of association.
Sani added that the chat forum was opened about 10 days ago to provide an avenue for Nigerians to discuss Sharia law as a whole and the amputation of Jangebe in particular.

“We opened the blog on Facebook and Twitter chats 10 days ago to serve as a platform for which Nigerians could air their opinions on Sharia law as a whole and the justification or otherwise of the amputation of the hand of Malam Buba Bello Jangebe,” Sani said.

This is not the first time Sani is having an encounter with Sharia courts in the North.
In 2008, one of the courts banned his satirical play “Phantom Crescent” after it ruled that the content violates Sharia law. The ban was later lifted on appeal.
Kaduna is one of 12 states to introduce the stricter version of Sharia law in the North after Zamfara signed it into law in 1999

May God bless if you can help me out with it. Because for doing this for me it means you have contributed so much to my life.

Bye .

If you want to build a house, get an Architect to make a design for you based on your needs/requirements and land size, It's Illegal and a copyright infringement to build using a plan prepared for another person. and from experience it is cheaper to design for your land than to amend one designed for another land

Career / NDLEA Sacks Female Staff For Marrying A Driver. by kajad(m): 12:42pm On Dec 21, 2009
The dismissal of a female officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mrs. Udeoji Tochukwu Francisca, by the agency for allegedly marrying a driver and giving birth to a child has become a subject of Senate investigation.

The investigation followed a petition by Francisca to the Senate Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions dated December 2009 and entitled: “Wrongful Termination of Appointment and Discrimination in Service.”

The dismissed female officer routed the petition through her representative in the Senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (PDP, Abia South), who, in turn forwarded it to the Senate President, Senator David Mark, under a covering letter.
Abaribe, in his December 15, 2009 letter, wrote: “I wish to forward the petition of my constituent, Mrs. Udeoji Tochukwu Francisca, who was wrongfully dismissed from NDLEA on account of marriage and child birth.

“The treatment meted out to Mrs. Udeoji is contrary to her right as enshrined in Chapter 4 of 1999 Constitution and too ender discriminatory.“I humbly plead for a review of the matter if for nothing else to lay to rest the possibility of miscarriage of justice as she has consistently maintained that she was wrongfully dismissed.”
Abaribe said that the dismissed NDLEA officr was sacked from her job for the love of seeking to marry Mr. Osondu Enwereuzor, a driver with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

He stated that the decision to sack her was “gender discriminatory,” stressing that it was against her right as enshrined in Chapter 4 of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria.
After presenting the petition to the Senate last Thursday, Mark promptly directed the Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions to commence full investigations into the circumstances and ensure that it erases the possibility of miscarriage of justice.

The petitioner, in her petition to the Senate, had said that she was a member of Course 7ASN of the NDLEA, which was employed in the agency in May 2001.

She said she was dismissed from the NDLEA on April 13, 2006 because she got married to “a man who works as a driver with the NDDC.”

According to her, her husband was investigated by the NDLEA when she gave notice of marriage and found to be clean but alleged that she was dismissed because she got married to somebody of junior rank.

In the letter by the NDLEA terminating her appointment, dated April 13, 2006 and signed by the Assistant director, Central Administration, on behalf of the Chairman/Chief executive, the agency accused her of committing “unapproved single parentage.”

The letter said that unapproved single parentage was contrary to paragraph 12.8(i) schedule 1, part X of NDLEA Regulations 2001(as amended).

But the dismissed woman stated in the petition thus: “I did not get married to somebody in the same organization; my husband works with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) while I work with NDLEA.

“The fact that my termination letter reads unapproved single parentage is misconceived or rather borne out of malice with a view to wrongfully terminate my appointment.

“I therefore call upon this Committee that is charged with the duty of (attending to) public petitions to look at all available documentary evidence before you and to avail yourself of the opportunity of interviewing principal parties to this complaint.”

Nigerian President Umaru Yar’Adua. Photo/FILE
By TAMBA JEAN-MATTHEW, NATION Correspondent in DakarPosted Tuesday, December 8 2009 at 18:08

Nigerian president Umaru Yar’Adua’s health condition is allegedly worsening and reports say the Saudi doctors treating him have begun contemplating on transferring West Africa’s most powerful leader to either the United States or Germany.

A little over two years ago, the Nigerian leader was flown to Germany for similar treatment and was discharged a couple of days later after doctors declared him fit to return home and assume his task.

This is the third time that President Yar’Adua is in hospital for an acute pericarditis - an inflammation of the covering of the heart – since he won a troubled election to succeed former President Olusegun Obasanjo nearly three years ago.

Local media today quoted the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where the leader is being treated as saying that Mr Yar’Adua would have to stay in hospital for the next three months.

This report is in sharp contrast to the Nigerian government press statement at the weekend which alleged that Mr Yar’Adua was “responding well to treatment and was watching football matches from his hospital bed.”

A media outfit report monitored today quoted the Saudi medical officials of saying that their decision to eventually transfer the ailing president abroad stems from his “body’s inability to respond to treatment in the intensive care unit” of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre.

President Yar’Adua would have to stay longer in hospital “to enable doctors to closely monitor his response to treatment and possibly administer new ones,” the report said.

Since nearly a month now, there has been a huge controversy about the exact condition of President Yar’Adua’s heart ailment as pandemonium steamed up within the political class over calls for his resignation.

Several leading opposition politicians and lawmakers in the country have been agitating for President Yar’Adua’s resignation in order to allow him stay abroad as long as possible for treatment once Vice President Goodluck Jonathan replaces him.

But the country’s supreme decision-making body, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has maintained the Vice President in his position while pledging full allegiance to the ailing president.
