kennygee:Na advent of swiftness in mobile phone browsing make people plenty here. Then, it was more of surfing the net on PCs and Internet was a luxury somehow. Kenyyyyyyyy, How you take be teen then when Taiye na adult? Sora e oooo. |
kennygee:I always relate NL to our Nigerian context. Recall our parents would tell us there were Jobs everywhere in the Older times. All you needed was some form of formal Education, and a Job was waiting for you. But with the population increase and blow outs, things became worse (combined with bad leadership). I relate to NL at times that with more people coming in, from diverse cultures, tribes etc as well as different orientation about life, we'll get to meet the good, bad and ugly. All sections on NL have their merits/demerits, but I always hope that things get better, cos the way people take dey fight and quarrel themselves online ehn, chai, the hatred just too much. I had even gone OFF topic sef, OP, I knew NL in march/april 2005 at its early days, only seun dey create topics and engage us in it. I saw a friend who just registered for was in his 3rd day on NL, actively participating in a conversation, and it struck me. I created a moniker (or assumed I created one) and read/laugh regularly till the next year I wanted to make a comment, only to realize I couldn't login again. So I created this one. |
kennygee: ![]() There're some old names and Moniker I still wish we could bring back. Recall beaf (politics section). Mukina and Mukina2, very active in moderator role, as well as some other crazy dudes i'll go down archive to remember. The Politics section was great fun then, we all troop in to learn. Everything changed after the 2007 elections and became worse in 2011. Another point is the tribal war that began much in 2008 as I observed. At times I ask myself, which other platform could be this all encompassing, other than NL. |
kennygee:Thank God I see person like me. Na so person send me PM say I be grandpa. I'm still trying to recall my 1st moniker created in mid 2005, wish I still had that. I think greater influx of people began in 2007 and 08. Then lil kids started taking over. |
omenka:Is the president not aware of this system? He's been in it his entire life. Or do we say it became worse after he left? |
omenka:pls quote the constitution for us to learn. chill bro. |
Oby, be humble at times and save yourself from free insults. The IGP got a point though. As compared to the looting and carting of funds in all MDAS, Ministries, parastatals etc, the force is least corrupt. Or do you wanna compare with embezzlement in even the military? |
kbams241:You should be stripped of it, with this grammar and incomprehensible narration. |
Nice analysis from the poster above. (No vex, I no fit call your name). I'm of the opinion you don't throw a baby with the bath water. Some learn lessons after the incidences, while some could have been in abusive relationships/marriage, hence, reasons to go by such titles. One thing I know for sure, majority of them are better to be with, either dating or hanging around or even marriage. They seem more knowledgeable and matured. Life would had taught them enough. Except some few with loosed heads though. |
All these half baked Journalist and fake stories. How can a man in his 60s still be working in a ministry? Is on a work for life Job abi dem no dey retire at 60 for that particular ministry ni? |
repogirl:Peju dear, my only vex is you got friends here, family (brothers and sisters) alike. Sure people disagree to re-agree on so many things but at least, we would have assisted Mr Amadi in the grieving and consoling you. Take heart our dear. I'm sure he's resting now. |
You've not seen the one at Mararaba, (can't recall the name). One dingy Police post in an Uncompleted building. |
gebest:Crossriver I know of, Rivers, few cases. Delta state; impossible. Where did you get your facts from? |
willy30:For effective marketing and drawing potential buyers close to you, endeavor to leave contact details (phone number, email address, location etc) as well as full details of the phone. I could have gotten about 2-3pcs if the price was right. |
Fhemmmy:Too bad, I had promised some people and even assured them before weekend, which was why I wanted to make payments the other time to commit you. I wanted 3pcs. Truth is I'll find it difficult going back to eat my words. |
Femi,
What happened to end of month? Can I get the Q10 as we discussed previously?
What's your contact detail?
Can I get the phone tomorrow? |
Bros you harsh small sha. (Joking). Thanks a great deal. I wonder why I left my passport in Calabar and I'm here in Lagos. I'll give it a shot tomorrow though. Without my passport. Its only the Degree and Transcript that requires certification as stated by the school. I hope I get through this. Thanks for your input. |
Sorry this may have been discussed before now. But I got a mail from University of Offenburg to send certified copies of Transcript and Degree results. I'm believing its an authentication of my result as well as transcript that they require. (Pls correct me if I'm wrong). My questions now? 1. Can I get this authentication done at the embassy in Lagos tomorrow or I'll need to book an appointment? 2. What are the costs implications? Urgent response would be required pls so I can set forth for the consulate tomorrow. Thanks. |
May 6th is fine by me. What else is coming, so I could draw a budget if I. Can get more. |
Femi, I'll go with the previous cost on the thread of 26k for Q10. I can pay cash but hope your shipment comes in before latest 2-4th of May. How's business? |
How much for Q5 and Q10. When will they be available for pickup? |
When i conducted Elections last time, I wasn't given this very result sheet due to the rush at the beginning and the INEC officials brought them all to me before accreditation ended. I'm so wondering why Amaechi had to ask for this very sheet when he is a Voter and not JEGA. I hope we're all learning a thing or two from all these happenings in the country? |
INEC just confirmed the hacking of its site. @Obinoscopy, @Ishilove
|
Something is definitely wrong here. @lalasticlala, @seun, @obinoscopy. Pls go through and verify. I was hoping we will be getting results from the INEC website as soon as details are ready for uploads. Don't forget to tweet, report and sms details.
