FamilyRe: Christmas Giveaway For A Single Mother by Kajiang02(m): 8:52am On Dec 13, 2014
rman:
The real poor people are all around us in real life and not online!

This is now turning into a NOTICE me gesture on nairaland.

Is Aisha2 saying she doesn't know any single mum in need in her community?

It was babymama now aisha2.

I don't have a problem with giving but I'm beginning to feel this is more like a popularity contest for those with little change on nairaland.

People in need are everywhere, we don't need nairaland to get across to them if indeed we are giving without expectations.
Popularity contest how pls?
I don't get that part. As well as the "NOTICE ME" gesture
PoliticsRe: Protest In Kano Over Detained Chad-bound Russian Aircraft by Kajiang02(m): 6:16am On Dec 09, 2014
overhypedsteve:
under what code? Are we allied to chad in any mutual protection agreement. So why are we supposed to release to them, weapons that could be used against nigerian citizens in the case of a regional confrontation. You of all people should know that the international system is made up of states interacting with each other without the supervision of any binding authority or legal documentation( this is what scholars in the field of international relations call " the system of anarchy ". read the book " leviathan" by Thomas Hobbes and also read Diplomacy by Harold Nicholson) in this system states are guided solely by their interest and their decisions, policies should reflect this interest as this is the main core of the existence of states
" we ve no permanent friend or perpetual foe, our interests are both permanent and perpetual" quoted by a 4mr British prime minister.
All i am saying is this. The legality or illegality of an action in the modern international system can only be determined by the states taking that action. Like they say in strategic studies " what sovereignty makes equal power makes unequal" meaning what could be wrong by moral standing could appear right when it is being done by a powerful state e.g the killing of Gadaffi of Libya, invasion of Iraq, the Gaza blockade of 2010/2011. Some of this things are wrong by the standing of international law, but need i repeat that the present international law is not binding and it is poorly applied only in most cases on government and persons that have lost the support of a majority of their people or the powers that be.
You got brains in the head bro. Nice1
CultureRe: Nsibidi: The Original Nigerian Writing Script by Kajiang02(m): 8:39am On Nov 18, 2014
Op, this seem a lil bit much for me. I'll go back to the beginning to read slowly again.
My take on "nsibidi" links more to the efiks and ibibios. Heard about this word many/several years back though.
PoliticsRe: A Thread For Goddy Jedy Agba Governorship Aspirant C.R.S by Kajiang02(m): 4:37am On Nov 14, 2014
If you want to start a campaign thread on an individual, state clearly his achievements, his strength, weakness and everything.
Start a coordinated designed campaign and not this hogwash here. It is morally unacceptable to just type these few words here on an outstanding and great character like Jeddy.
In all aspirants in the state, I don't see any coming a mile close to him in winning the election.

PoliticsRe: Tambuwal Joins APC Presidential Race, Picks Forms by Kajiang02(m): 4:33am On Nov 14, 2014
Someone indoctrinate/lecture this dude pls.
Would have preferred he test his chances at the governorship polls. He'll have a greater shot at the presidency at expiration of GEJs second tenure.

Not all do? Some practically remain girls, after several years in a union too.
CrimeRe: Thread For Ex-convicts, Behind The Counter Offenders, And Ex-Cell Mates by Kajiang02(m): 8:26pm On Oct 28, 2014
As much as I find your story hilarious. A policeman had no right to put a gun at a minor. He could be jailed for that sef in saner environment.

My story,
I recall in JS3, I slept at the police station. We all stayed at the counter though. About 10 of us or close to that. It was just a friend and I that were Junior students, the rest been seniors. It was lights-out in school then and some officers were patrolling hostels while we were busy having a feast and disturbing.
The men use anger come package all of us in a single file (for straight line) from hostel to qtr guard, na bare ground I humbly sleep that night.

Second time was when I was in SS1 or 2. We had a new officer in charge of transport and logistics. One funny evening he was making rounds at the hostels and I saw the cool man on mufty, not knowing he's a new oga. I no sabi wetin enter my head that day, but I called him funny names and guess i threw water from the bathroom window across. The man stormed into the hostel while I ran away, na there my own finish cos na plenty seniors the man use find and catch me.
Na inside main cell I sleep that night. Chai, body tell me. I follow crest name for wall sha.

I went to one of the force secondary schools sha.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Why Is National Directorate Of Employment (NDE) Extorting Money From Graduates? by Kajiang02(m): 4:27pm On Oct 26, 2014
Godditex:
I was hinted by a friend that NDE are currently registering Graduates in my state for FG jobs or whatever. Why am worried is the extortion of 2k from every grads that intend to register.

This is broad day light fraud to me.
Kindly share your thought if you have any ideas about this and other NDE programs. Thanks!
Op, what baffles me more is the crop of people making comments without recourse to knowing if this really happened.
Nigeria is bad and we know it happens. My only pain here is we're all carried away by the OP's heresay, abi no be person tell am? I've been looking for the link on this recruitment crap and can't find any. How then do we do a mass protest when we can't nail this people. When did they advertise and stated the mandatory 2k. Is it probably a desk officer in your state billing you guys or its happening in all states?

Pls give us complete Information. Thanks.

You know I got confused on some parts. Especially the part you said South east contributes less.

The markets in Onitsha and Aba manufactures quite a lot for export. Doesn't this add up to the GDP?

South-south only contributes what is Natural (Oil). Other regions, I can't talk much.

These guys are campaigning at the grass-roots where people vote.
Not you and I who sits on our keyboard in analysis.

Christianity EtcRe: The Scientific Facts: The Biblical Evidence by Kajiang02(m): 1:44am On Sep 14, 2014
Still trying to understand the correlation.
This is more like thinking of anything, and finding anywhere suitable in the Bible to quote a likely or similar reference point.
Some of those Bible quotes up there are mere grammars arranged to suit a specific reason.

Religion and science can actually go hand-in-hand in a way, but not this list itemized above.

OP, now you've given non-believers of a possible amalgamation of Science&Religion a reason to mock/laugh at the believers.

Epathra: Normally, I don't give cognisance to comments like this buh we have too many of your breeds running loose hence, the need to curb ΐτ̅. Mind you, ΐτ̅'s usually safer to consult Ʊя̩̥̊ brain before Ʊя̩̥̊ mouth and fingers but I'm not surprised coz I've been warned not underestimated hediots esp on a faceless forum and on the keypad.
You shld have just given Ʊя̩̥̊ desription.
Chill ma'am,
Sexyseun's comment was more poised towards a laugh. Sure the route you gave is one I'll go with and faster for me but seem cumbersome and longer with the no. of stops and re-enter.

The other person also tried explaining reason's why your harsh response wasn't necessary and got whipped too.
Hope I don't get one too?

I'll advice the oshodi - ejigbo route for the rookie, maybe with time he'll understand other routes.

Cheers.
PetsRe: The Dilemma Of Veterinary Medicine In Nigeria. by Kajiang02(m): 11:39am On Sep 11, 2014
shabbey09: Its coz of the state of our nation. An average man lives in a rented appartment for maybe 45 yrs or more and its not likely to have a pet in an rented accommodation unlike abroad that have access to mortgage, someone in this category will have bills and a pet would be the last thing on his mind on the other hand those that have dier own homes are prone to having pets but even at that few are willing to spend so much on a pet and if there are no pets then there are no vets!!

Let's keep praying the economy of our country continues to get better
This is truthfully correct.
How do you fathom accommodating an catering for a pet when you live in a face me, I face you apartment with numerous siblings and relatives.
Until we get a better economy, better housing scheme and total poverty reduction ratio, vet docs will still suffer ill fate post graduation.
Abi na animals I wan dey feed or take care of when I never chop.

Op, pls move into animal rearing/livestock production.

Op,
The article's explanation is too techy for me Jor. I like the Urine explanation, whereby when you hold urine for a while at night, once JT could be on the rise but the JTs don't rise like that during the day even when urine is held for 7-10hrs.

Why do I just love this lady. @MizMyColi

Btw, have you looked into my earlier request on the other thread to check the Literature section?

Have you thought of writing or starting a story at the Literature section? You could get free 5k there too, probably and some recharge cards. Check the section.

This work is great, and requires a lot of prunning and editing for finalization. At some few points, the next line of action could be predicted whilst some others, suspense.
You'll get better (more) advises from readers/critics at the Literature section than the conventional book/Novel readers abound.
All in all, you got a great piece to be taken to the next higher stages.

Kudos.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Topic Sharing On Nairaland (Shared Topics) by Kajiang02(m): 5:28pm On Aug 25, 2014
On the contrary, i see it as segregating certain topics within some selected few.
Look at it from this angle, a pdp/apc spokesperson here on nairaland initiates a misleading topic or to heat up the polity and makes sure the first pages are filled with comments of like minds. It wouldn't be a fair judgement you know.

Besides, if i want to advertise a product, sharing the link would be to the same persons i have as friends who ideally should have known about the said product. I would need inputs from different people entirely and not the same set of persons i frolic with.
