One thing many people don't associate with heart burn is anxiety and it is the one thing that will render all treatment useless.
These days whenever I have heartburn, I just get powdered milk, either in water or just like that, it does wonders.

I had something similar a gazillion years ago and mine was actually termed upper belly ulcer/gas. I was advised to take a lot of milk, stay away from pop drinks, pufpuff and other gaseous foods, eat regularly, stay away from spicey foods and take my drugs. I did and I have been fine. Follow your doctor's instructions and you will be fine. Milk is your best friend at the moment.

I also did test positive for H Pylori and placed on a combined mix of medications by the doctor.....it is now history as I also keep away from certain meals.

Physical internships are hard to get in the country, join communities meet people lend a hand in their personal projects and work with them you'll gain alot more than being in a physical internship in Nigeria, most of them don't really push development on you you'll be mostly doing menial jobs with little development (actual internships not funded ones)

Well umm there is a lack of tech companies in Nigeria out of Lagos and I'm not really sure if most of them take in interns but you can try to apply for remote internships

So as at late March, I already had 5 solid projects. However, let me take you guys a bit back to January of this year.

In January, after shouting "Happy New Year", the next train of thoughts that passed through my mind was how I would support myself while I'm learning this coding thing. I don graduate na, who go give me money. Na only free food my parents dey give me.

Then one guy on Twitter kept tweeting about technical writing. He always emphasized on how developers can make money through technical writing gigs and even full time work.

Omo, na so my ear dey always stand anytime dis guy dey tweet, I became increasingly interested in this technical writing. Sapa na your mate??

So I resolved to start blogging about software development, I opened a Hashnode account.
I would write articles about the things I'm learning. What do I mean?

For instance, if I happen to encounter an error or a bug while coding, after researching and checking stackoverflow, geeks4geeks and the likes in a bid to solve the error. When I finally solved the error or added the feature (as the case may be), then I'd write an article on it. Sound smart right?

That was how I was building my blog while building my software development portfolio.

When I had up to 5 solid articles, I started looking for technical writing gigs.
