Let me start with this edited song. Since I was born But now I am 40yrs I have never seen a ghost before. . If not for dictionary or teachings in school and some wack dem say dem say stories by some people, I wouldn't have heard of the word "Ghost". Do ghost really exist? We have been hearing different type of stories of how somebody that was dead was found in so so place and immediately they saw who they know they vanished. Ask this people that tells you this story if they witness it, they will tell you they were told by someone else. And it all goes on and on and on with I was told by someone. Nobody ever is the one that witness it. . Like me now, last month was my 41st birthday but till date I haven't seen anything like a ghost or who have died before and I know him or her. My obsession about ghost started back in 1993 when I first watched this Hollywood movie titled GHOST Starring Patrick Swayze, Whoopi Goldberg and Demi Moore. That movie took me into some adventures with some friends some years later on wanting to know about ghost. . My Story: Back in 1998 I just finished my secondary schooling and I was 18yrs old then. We were about 6 guys in that our street that just finished secondary schooling from different schools, so we were always at home. There was a market close to our area and the women there needed bamboos and palm fronds to make shed and shop for their market. We now took as an avenue to keep ourselves busy and make some money. So we'll go into the bush and fetched bamboos and palm fronds and make shed for them for money. . I lived in Okokomaiko area of Lagos then, while I finish from Ojo High School in Agric/Volks area of Lagos. One among the 6 of us also finished together with me at OHS while the other 4 are from Awori College, Ajangbadi High school, Government College and Community secondary school which are in the same compound with my school. At the back of my area in Okoko is LASU which has a vast expanse of land and bushes. From there you can see Iba express road and once you cross the road, it's Army Cantonment Ojo Barracks which is the biggest army barracks in the whole of West Africa. So while we hunt our bamboos at the bushes in LASU, we extended it to the bushes and forest of the army barracks. Back then it was still a thick forest not now that they have built houses and even have housing estate there. . There's the army cemetery were they buried soldiers, it's inside a bush we called "Double Bush" if you come out from the bush you will be facing Army cantonment Boys secondary school which is one of the most rugged secondary schools in the whole of Ojo and Amuwo Odofin local governments. Back then we used to hear some of their students sleeps in the cemetery for days to acquire powers and charms against guns, bottles, knifes e.t.c. Also this era was the era when we used to hear stories of "Bush Babies" those dwarfs they say are in the forest holding a mat and that if you collect the mat you will be rich though we heard they are very dangerous and can kill. . So our bamboo sojourn took us into entering those bushes and forest inside the barracks. We were building shed for our street women with the bamboos and making till we have almost finished building for everybody and no more work to do. Boredom entered us again, until I came up with the suggestion that we should go hunting for Bush babies inside that barracks bush, maybe we can make money as the story goes. Even though within me I know it's a lie, I just wanted to give it a try. While others were fascinated with the thought, my main interest was us going to that cemetery and see if we can come across a ghost. So everyday after eating in our respective homes and playing some football in the streets, in the afternoon we'll head to the bushes just playing and walking about inside waiting if we could see any bush babies. While at this we pluck fruits we eat and come back to sell in the area. . After a week or so, no Bush babies was forth coming. I brought another plan of us going to the cemetery at night till dawn, maybe the Bush babies move at night. Hmmmm.... 5 of us agreed, the 6th person was scared. Now what are we going to tell our parents that we won't be coming back at night. Fortunately a plan eventually came. Assemblies Of God youth camp was on then at Iyana Ishashi. We all lied that that is where we were going. In the day we will go to the youth camp, at night pretending we are going back home, we will head to the cemetery. We'll make burn fire and sing and gyrate till morning, but shishi bush babies or ghost came out. We did that for 4 consecutive nights, my people we no see nada. That is how we jettison the idea, and since over 23yrs ago till now I haven't seen any ghost. I lost my mum in 2017 and my dad in 2018, till date non has appeared to me either in the dream or real life. . It will shock you guys to know that I fear creepy and crawling things like Cockroach, Snakes, spiders and all. But you see ghost, spirit or whatever you guys call it and that is if they exist, I am not afraid of them. I can enter any bush or cemetery alone at night and I won't fret. I am a driver, I enter anywhere at any fvcking time and I don't exhibit any fear within me. I always have this attitude of what will be will be. And till date I haven't experienced any dangerous things since my over 15yrs of driving. Now that's that about that, I asked again do you believe in ghost? Do they exist? My immediate younger brother is now a reverend in one of the Assemblies of God churches in Lagos. I have asked him this question time and time again. Do Ghost really exist, I thought the Bible said it is appointed unto men once to die and after that judgement. How come people always say they see someone who is dead before and he told me this: . According to my brother, he said all those dead, people claim to see are demons using the face and image of dead people to appear to people they know. I think I kinda agree with this his assertion even though I am still waiting for something of such to happen to me. Atleast I have lost loved ones and friends, can't the demons use any of their faces and appear to me. So my own conclusion is that I don't believe in ghost and their existence cus I haven't seen one before. Come share to us if you have seen and I don't want to hear my mother or father or somebody told me. Tell us the one you experienced yourself and give us vivid details how it happened. |
Ikillbrokehoes:Hahahaha |
born2loveee:Lolz, making love is sweetest when you guys just ended a quarrel |
Starz825:Is recent the title of the post? Or you still want me to be beating a woman till now |
Magnoliaa:Life of strive and sorrow hahahaha |
Hezzyluv:Lolz, thank you |
Good morning and happy weekend Nairalanders. Pls I want you guys to read carefully and judge me if I was right or wrong on this two occasions I beat a woman. . We all know beating a lady or woman is never right especially if you are a man, but most times this ladies can push you extremely hard to the wall that you won't have any option than to deal with them with beating. This I want to share here were my only times I beat a woman and the last time was in 2011 I guess. The 1st was in 1999 during the match "Kanu and Friends" in Lagos. After the match while going home, the rain started. I lived in Okokomaiko area of Lagos then, so there was no bus to get to Orile from National Stadium Surulere bcus the whole place was jam packed with people. So I began trekking from stadium to Orile so I could get a bus going to Okoko, meanwhile the rain was dripping little by little. . The streets was flooded so as not to spoil my leather sandals by walking with it, I removed it and hold it in my hands while walking fast and swinging my hands. At Adeniran Ogunsanya road close to the now The Place restaurant, while swinging my hands the sandals mistakenly touched a girl in front of me at her buttocks. The girl was hawking pepper and tomatoes, immediately she turned back I quickly apologized "jor mabinu, mi'o momo" meaning pls don't be angry it wasn't on purpose. What I heard from her was: bi e se ma'n paro niyen, okan fe gba Idi mi ni. Meaning: you guys always lie, you just want to touch my backside. Before I could explain further, what I heard was a resounding slap from her. She slapped me with one hand while holding her wares with the other hand. . I was still rubbing my cheek and asking her why did you slap me? And the next thing she drop her wares on the ground, used her "oshuka" clothes they put on the head to carry things, and tied on her waist and then rushed at me to fight me. That was when I lost my cool and gave a her a resounding beating of her life while she held me and tore my Kanu Nwankwo Arsenal jersey I just bought. As we're struggling we both scattered her peppers and tomatoes on the floor. The most annoying of it all was that one woman was watching when this said girl was slapping me and charging at me and she said nothing but when I was beating her she was the one that started screaming: Se o fe pa ni, meaning do I want to kill her. After every every sha, the matter was settled and I went my way but my Arsenal jersey was stolen by one of the crowd that separated and settled us. I wore only singlet home. She too lost some of the peppers and tomatoes after some were picked for her. . 2nd Scenario. It was in 2011 or thereabout. The very day Man United beat Arsenal 8-2. I am staunch Man United fan since 1994. They was this girl I was dating then, she works from Monday till Friday and usually comes to spend Saturday and Sunday with me before going back on Monday morning. So on Sunday morning of this said match after we have eaten and done the do's and don't. While relaxing, I told her by afternoon she will accompany me to go see the match. I have always wanted to take my girl to go see a game and make her love football like me. She told me she doesn't feel like going out that day, she just want to stay indoors and watch movies. I tried to convince her and told her that after the match if United wins we will go take some pepper soup and drinks. She was still adamant she's not going so I let her be. . The match was 4:30 or 5pm I think, so by 4pm I have prepared and headed to the viewing centre and told her to take care of the house and prepare food before I come back. She said ok and bid me farewell. While the match was going on, when Man United scored the 4th goal she called and when I picked she shouted goooaaaaaal and Up United. Before I could talk she cut the call. I was surprised, is this not my girl that said she can't go out was same person telling me Up United. Where is she watching it cus nobody has a Dstv in my compound and no viewing center was closeby my house. I quickly forget her and concentrated on the match. When the 8th goal entered, she called and did the same thing again and didn't allow me talk before cutting the call. This time I was somehow furious but held myself. So after the match, outside I called her and she picked and was shouting Up Man U, up Man U. I replied yeah Up Man U, but asked her where she was cus I was hearing noise in the background. She said she was at a bar with a cousin of hers, that they were watching the match. Mehn, I was so furious with rage and anger. . First of guys, before I continue. Since we started dating she hasn't told me of any of her cousin or cousins staying in Lagos. She only told me she has just one blood brother and he stays with their parents in Onitsha. So I ask her whose cousin is that? She just told me bla bla bla of one guy like that. I just cut the call and started discussing with football aficionados about the just ending match. The time was almost 7pm. I couldn't focus on the discussion that much. I was filled with anger, this is a girl I pleaded with to go out with me and watch the same match she now went to go and see with another man. And if truly it's her cousin as she said and wants to go see him, why didn't she tell me from the beginning? I left where we were discussing the football to home. I got home by 7:30pm and she wasn't back. Food sef she hasn't prepared. After waiting till 8pm and she wasn't back, I went and prepared food for the both of us and ate mine immediately cus I was hungry. . You guys won't believe my girl came back some minutes after 10pm after getting me worried by first not picking her calls and later it been switched off. When she came in and greeted, I replied her. She came to hug me saying Up Man U, I gently pushed her off. She was like ah ah what's wrong with me. I told her, madam where are you coming back from by this time? She was like didn't she told me on the phone that she went to see her cousin. I was like which yeye cousin that kept you till 10pm, and did you tell me in the afternoon that you were going to see someone. Aren't you the one that told me you are tired and don't feel like going out. And to think you still went to watch the same match I pleaded with you to go watch with me. And the next thing she started shouting and raising her voice at me saying eh eh, can't she go and visit someone again. Did I forget to tell you guys she was smelling of alcohol, I replied her so you went to go see a cousin of yours that allows you drink to stupor and makes you go home that late. She hissed and pushed me to the bed and then went to where I kept food to look for what to eat. I stood up from the bed and gently turn her back to face me. Young lady I haven't finished talking to you, she told me to get out and leave her alone that she's hungry. I couldn't take it any longer, I landed a heavy slap on her face that hurt her so badly. . She began crying and jumped on the bed fighting me, apart from that one slap I didn't touched her again but she was fighting and trying to throw some punch at me. I just held her two hands and stop her from hitting me. We where like that till I didn't know when I started begging and cajoling her. For over 30min I was still begging her while she was crying profusely. I told her I didn't know when my hand hit her that I am really sorry for everything. After a while she calmed down and I dished out food to her. And then after made sweet passionate love. But guys, till we eventually broke up, she never really forgave me for that slap. She always reminds me of it saying no man has ever lay hands on her. . So there it is guys, the two times I have laid hands on a woman. Was both my fault? Could I have handle them in a better way. Tell me what you think? And you can also share yours too if you have beating a woman before. |
In as much we all know the police are useless in most of the things they do, but my question is why were the guys running when they saw the policemen? Did they do something wrong or is just the fear of seeing policemen which doesn't make sense to me. Anyways RIP to the dead |

Octopusssy:Hahahaha, actually I finish secondary school in 1998 but still waiting for admission till 2001 before I got admitted into Auchi Poly. |
Lolz, all this ones still dey use olden days format. My first experience with them I chop their #200 sara. Back in 2000 I just finished secondary school and was looking for menial jobs before I take my jamb. I lived with my parents at Ojo town close to LASU. So I went to mile 2 estate to look for work but didn't see any. Hunger and sun don hammer me wella. So as I was strolling at mile 2 Oke (up) a guy approached me and asked me if I knew where Apapa wharf is? I angrily pointed at where wharf bus are loading and walked away from him. . I haven't even taking upto 10 steps another one approached me and asked me what that man was asking me (pointing to the first guy) I looked at him and immediately stories from my dad and mum about 419ers and their way of scamming people just entered my head. I strong my mind and decided to play along. I told the 2nd guy that he asked me where Apapa wharf is and I directed him where to get bus. He told me the guy has met him too and told him he just came back from Senegal and he has some goods at the wharf. I smile within me and told myself "na dem". . I told him so, what do you want me to do? He said why don't we try to assist him maybe we will get something from there. I said ok let's go and meet him and hear what he has to say and what he can offer us. We both whistle the first guy to come and he quickly rush to where we were. So the discussion started. He has some large goods at the port worth millions of naira but needed money to clear them. Ehen! So you get goods worth millions and you no get kobo to clear them, na wao I said to him. The other guy told me to calm down that it can happen to anyone. I told him I know, that he should help him with the money nah. . He said he too doesn't have. I said ehen, if two of una wey be men and senior me by far no get money, na me 20yr old boy wey just finished secondary school go come get money. They said they know I may not have but don't I know where my father or mother keeps money. Immediately I answered them of course I know but no be my money nah. They said yes it's not my money but if I go and bring it and the clear the goods that after selling the goods they'll give me times 10 of the money. I rubbed my two hands with joy and clean my mouth exclaiming "wow this na good news o" I then told them I know where my dad and mum keeps plenty plenty money, that like how much should I bring? They said I should bring plenty if possible all of them. . I said no problem let me start going, they said yes that I should be fast that they will be here waiting for me (they pointed at one kiosk). After walking like 15 steps, I came back to where they were. They were like oboy wetin happen nah, why you come back? I told them make una no vex our place dey for Badagry and I no get transport like this. They then said wetin you come do for mile 2 wey be say na Badagry you dey stay and how you wan take go house before. I told them I came to look for job but I didn't see and that whenever I want to go home I used to beg conductors until anyone will help me home. . So they then said how much will I need to go to Badagry? I told them #200 will take me to and fro sharp sharp. They ask me again if I am sure I know where my mom and dad keeps money, I nodded saying very sure. So one of them gave me the #200. And said I should start going and be fast. I collected the money happily and came down from mile 2 Oke and pretended to enter bus going to Badagry cus they were watching me. The bus moved but as we were getting to Durbar junction of mile 2 estate, I told the driver to pls stop that I have forgotten something, hahaha. . The driver stopped and I came down walk straight to Iya Belgium food canteen hahahaha. Anybody who knows mile 2 very well or went to any of those secondary schools at Ecomog will know "Belgium Food canteen" it's still in existence till now. Me I went to Belgium food canteen and wack to my satisfaction "telling them in my say na God go punish them". Me wey dem born for Lagos and I don dey waka waka since I was 10yrs old na im wan stupid people wan scam and put for trouble. I reach area in the evening go explain to my guys, na laugh we just dey laugh thru out that night. |
Hmmm.. Oshey, politricks |
