What exactly do you mean by "if anyone would do this in a civilized environment, say America". . .? Are you by any chance implying that the USA is some kind of gold standard of civilization we should all aspire to?

Please explain.

sauer: And how better is your country than those countries that have "g.a.y walks and the likes"? And how desperate are your people about living or even flaunting these same countries you deride.
Get your facts right. The same ideals that liberated these countries are still in play, and just somehow have turned out to be the world's most important ideals. Democracy?
What a weak attempt on your part at
justifying an irrational post of yours. You support gay walks and gay rights but disparage people going for virginity walks?

One thing I can deduce is, it's either you are deluded and an intellectual slave of the western views and way of life or you are just being jealous of the fact that you are and/or are sorrounded by nymphòs, in the case which I don't have to debate with you if you can stoop so low, but I think the later is the case.
Make your thoughts and opinions exclusively yours. That's why we have individual brains... Don't get brain-washed in your bid to bootlick the west.

Zikdik: I have watched Linda's testimony and I think she spoke from her heart.Whether or not she really saw a revelation from God is between her and her creator.Whether or not you want to believe her is a personal decision as well.God and the Law has given every man the gift of intellectual freedom.
If her testimony serves the purpose of bringing people to Christ, who are we to condemn her?God can use anyone and/or anything...even a 'chronic drunkard'.

Okija juju: And some reeetards said the protest was peaceful and nobody was forced to comply. I guess the Nigerian security forces vandalised the luxurious bus and set the tanker ablaze..

We never serious yet for this country. .
Miscreants will always seize any of such opportunity to perpetrate evil and everybody will label it MASSOB. That is why students can never stage any peaceful protest.

ballabriggs: I thank the people of Orlu, Uturu and Okigwe most especially who have resisted Uwazuruike and his thugs in spite of the fact that Uwazuruike's bunker and shrine is based in Okigwe.

These people have resolved a long time ago not to bow to the forces of darkness called MASSOB and they are keeping to their words.

Stores are open, people are trading and earning a living; what is more heart warming than that.
Political Jobber trying to protect his precious treasure, Nigeria. Enjoy the loot you earn from the failed and forced union called Nigeria but we are not that gullible for you to confuse.

Okija juju: Okwa Owerri ka I no?

Go to Aba, go to Onitsha and report back.. If you own a business in any of these two towns especially in Ariria and main market, I dare you to go open it as a case study for this topic. Then come back and report.

See why I refer to you guys as hypocrites? You mention Owerri! You might as well have mentioned Enugu na. We are talking about the two major Igbo cities of Aba and Onitsha here not places like Owerri and Abakiliki.

You are really a joker...

Read the guy above me.
what a lame pretext to justify your unpatroitic utterance against the Igbos

I'm not saying otherwise bro... Was just trying to clear the air of misconstrues that people are compelled to stay at home against their free will.

Okija juju: http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/well-enforce-sit-at-home-directive-massob-warns/

Don't act naive.. Who would dare go into Main Market Onitsha and open up for business with these touts running the streets? Who would dare have a wedding in Aba with these touts running the street? Who would dare open up for business in Ariria with these touts lose on the streets?

My brother, lets start speaking the truth. The threat from MASSOB is very real. Anyone who dares open up for business in any MASSOB stronghold would be lynched to death. #Fact
You are far away west... Stop relying on hear-says and misleading articles you culled off biased fellows.
In the presence of heavy military personel here, nobody dares try to disturb another's peace.
I went about free around Owerri and even to the market without restraint from any hostile group.
I keep on reiterating it that nobody is restrainin anybody from doing anything.

Nobody is disrupting anybody or any economic activity, atleast not with the presence of the fierce trigger happy military personels lurking around the entire SE and some SS states. Nobody was compelled to stay at home but was rather appealed to observe the day which they obliged.

ballabriggs: Let me make these myopic people understand something.

The Igbo's failed to secede with the war because what Ojukwu saw during the war was not the same as what he saw before the war. Ojukwu was a young buzzing officer, had a lot of energy in him and he thought it was once Awo agrees with us to secede, then that is it, everyone goes their way. What he did not remember was Awo did not command Soldiers. Was he really expecting Awo to go to Lagos and declare secession in front of Gowon? Gowon would have simply destroyed him.

The truth is the issue of secession got more complex than Ojukwu thought initially and it is same with this protest organised by those making money off this deceit. It is easy to organise 'sit at home' protests, however, that is far from secession.

When the real thing comes, we will know how serious you people are.
Ojukwu called for the war when FG reneged the Aburi Accord.
Go and read your history before sitting infront of your computer to make mischievous spurious claims. He was deplomatic in all ramnifications of the quest for balkanization until the Aburi Accord was reneged.

ballabriggs: Nwokem please take a seat. I am more Igbo than you are but I have a brain to think. Those other ethnic groups know this ia a huge joke that is not going to happen, so why waste your time.

You can keep fooling yourselves, you can keep letting those jobless 'Inaga' people at Maris junction in Owerri make money off you. Fact is, this country is not going to break anytime soon, so it is best you live in it and make it work for you instead of dreaming endlessly over what will never happen.
you are entitled to your own opinion...
May I remind you that Zik, Awolowo,
et al didn't fold their arms when they were in quest for sovereignty? Considerable number of the Igbo
populace wants to have their
sovereignty, as can be enviced from the posts on Nairaland where anybody can sign up easily in thirty seconds and feign anything he wants... The few ones that wants the "Jonah and the Whale" unity here are the politicans whom are aptly protecting the goose that lays the golden egg for them at the detriment of their kinsmen.
You are probably one of the
politician's kid that has left the country on a member of your family clutching power...
Well, FYI, the "Inaga" people your are referencing has left Maris Junction in Owerri, for almost five years now.

your deduction reeks of stupidíty! Why are you trying so hard to justify the Northerner's stance on the SOE with any unfortunate incident that happens in the SE?
The police men were killed by Armed Robbers ,not Crusaders or Freedom Fighters as was reported in this case, which can occur everywhere in the country.

Type "TERRORISM" in google, if you care to know.
