PoliticsRe: Lagos Built 10.4MW Power Plant, To Be Inaugurated In August. by kalunomics(m): 1:23pm On May 23, 2013
Ricky_Ross: Brother, I don't think your statement is true. Early last year Amaechi promised all Port Harcourt residents that b4 December 2012 there will be uninterrupted power supply all over Rivers state. This did not happen. Just few weeks ago he was on the news again claiming FG did not give states power to distribute light. I ASK, IF YOU KNOW THE FGN DID NOT GIVE YOU THE POWER TO DISTRIBUTE WHY THEN DID YOU GO ON TV MAKING FAKE/EMPTY PROMISEShuh?

Its on record Odili made similar fake promises with some stupid Omoku Gas Turbine and Trans Amadi Gas Turbine.
you live in Rivers state and cannot even tour round atleast the state. I blatantly tell you that you ill-informed. Odili did it for his Ndoni people. There's no power plant situated at the heart of omoku but almost all its environs uses power plant which consequently lumps a considerable amount of PHCN power for omoku city alone.

Delafruita: examples
i once lived in ogba rivers state and the whole of obrikom and ndoni (ogba/egbema/ndoni LGA) enjoys constant power supply from power plants.

PoliticsRe: Vehicles Conveying 56,750 Ammunition Intercepted In Oyo State by kalunomics(m): 12:37pm On May 23, 2013
56,000? Na bullet abi gun dem dey talk about here? I feel compelled to believe this figure is exaggerated.

The report failed to mention where the vehicle is bound and the name of the suspect! This is a very serious issue and should be taken as such!

lastpage: How much sense does it make, when you CRITICIZE SOMEONE but provide NO ALTERNATIVE?

As much as l dont fancy GEJ, tell me; What should the dude have done?

*He begged them, they refused!
*He promised to even forgive the "murderers", they shunned his offer
*He cajoled to give them "amnesty and bail-out", the clowns feel they are above "govt" and asked him to beg for amnesty instead!

Who the feck did they think they are? gawd? huh huh

In this Boko Haram matter, anyone that wants to criticize GEJ MUST give us the "better alternative-options" that he should have taken.

Oyaa, let us hear your views.

Lastpage!
you are minding that attention seeker? You cannot compare MEND to Boko Haram...
The former is fighting for no just cause! Islamize Nigeria, instead of using the force to attack their leaders who have kept them in such state over the years.

Did MEND outrightly waste life during their course of action? They were solely bombing oil and gas installations around their area, requesting government to come and alleviate the suffering of the people whose land Nigeria oils dwells.
Their lands were ruinned, their water polluted by the oil companies whom cared less about their host communities and environs. That is what they fought for!
Now tell me what Boko Haram is fighting for?
Christianity EtcRe: Imo Youths Lock Out Bishop-elect by kalunomics(m): 5:11am On May 23, 2013
Solozzo: Why so parochial l on your viewpoint? They are saying they want equity and justice. Mbaise has qualified priests for bishop position but are passed over for a long time by Awka priests appointments. This is alleged to be via cardinal Arinze's connection. Now the game is up. You can fool the people some of the time but not all the time. Can the church exist without the people? The wishes of the people of that community should be granted. Simple.
Amidst all the explanation and clarification made on this thread, you are still being bigotry of the opinion of your people? Ur case don pass where human being can help

Christianity EtcRe: Imo Youths Lock Out Bishop-elect by kalunomics(m): 7:01pm On May 22, 2013
Okoro2015: Afam, he is spot on. Mbaise people will accept a Maiduguri bishop to the Status quo. Reason being there is no Levitical order in bishopric appointments expecially if undue external influence is stayed.
you will respect the wish of the papal or leave the church. you people are not the first to revolt against the church and won't be the last but in the end, the church prevails!!!!!!!

They dare not show-up in the SW/North!.

Frankly, 'Progressive fronts' wink
see this one! After 2014, we'll know whether uncle Joe's achievement will warrant him a re-election but i'm sure i won't vote for buhari for counsellorship let alone president.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Rochas To Pay All Unemployed Imo Graduates Monthly Allowances. by kalunomics(m): 3:34pm On May 20, 2013
kross_01: It is true what the OP posted. I came into owerri today and i saw a banner to that effect boldly hung at the wall of rockview hotel(entrance towards the guvnor's house). My only reservation with this is that truth be told rochas most times dont think through thoroughly b4 he makes pronouncement. within the first few months of his administration he gave #50 to primary school pupils today it is abandoned.he pronounced free education to tertiary level, today the pronouncement is causing more problems than solution in imo state. He promised corp members 10k monthly allocation each, they are still asking for it. Earlier this year he tried a similar thing to what he's about doing now by engaging the graduates in practical survey trainings with a promise of job placement at the end of the training, i guess that one have also been abandoned. Now this one. Just pray he sustains one
please get your facts right before making spurious claims! The primary school students were paid (one hundred naira not fifty naira) last month.
The training you are talking about is primarily meant to gard you with the technical know-how... Not everybody will be absorbed by the government.

I'm a little unclear about the tertiary free education but i've witnessed one or two persons that has gotten theirs...

As from Ebonyi origin and living in owerri, most atimes i wish i'm an Imolite because of the freebies that abounds here.

So far, i've had no cause to regret my voting for him.
