Due to the recent loss of data on nairaland i think there is the need to revive some (if not all) the lost threads in this section. here is one of my favourite threads.

zeanslim: Mumu thread
@op i need to no the key features of samsumg galaxy pro and star ?
And also the tecno phantom pad mini av an internal memo of 16gb.. With ota.
Have u eva read this :

TECNO was the first dual SIM mobile phone brand to hit the market in Africa, and staying true to the maxim “think globally, act locally”, TECNO has achieved great success in translating advanced technology into superior localized products

lastly when did tecno joined the android market ?

Nope! we used dual sim phones like Jmax and the rest long before tecno sets foot in nigeria.

Codedboy95: 10k if you ready holla .

Lols, i dey laugh ooo

Codedboy95: 10k if you ready holla .

Lols, i dey laugh ooo

Mckandre: I'll be a judge on that, 20? Go to finet at old park you will get it at 25k,brand new

Hmmm p2 25k? na lie I'd rather go for Gionee E3 33k.

edujandon: then go for the new one, I only sale pimped ,Rooted and loaded with games phone ..........if u check the price u will see is not too much and also note that the new once is also being sold 20k in some places

sorry o! No offence intended may you find a buyer soon. Goodluck to you.

Warlord3000: new one no dey for market at that 14k range again Ooo

the thing scarce from what I heard..

Is that reason enough to sell a used one 20k?

edujandon: fully pimped ,rooted ,and loaded with games and all u need in an android phone gionee p2 ,2 weeks old for just 20k

The new one is just 14k-15k.

960x540 resolution would result to 245ppi plus 16m colours, nice display i must say better than M7 and M5.

Demaejy: Please, has anyone bought this phone? We need to know the battery life and camera, does it support skype call? .. I like its 4.3inch

Would be available before the end of this month a dealer told me so.

Alfred573: Pls hw can i stp d noise wen i 'on' & 'off' my Tecno M5 permanently.

That chinko noise can only be removed by rooting the phone.

Realtony76: I plan on getting a Gionee P2 tomorrow @ikeja but a friend said it is no long in the market because from his explanation he said he checked almost everywhere ... Please can anyone confirm this?

Same here in Jos, the phone is very scarce now. maybe the will supply it in a week or two along with p3.
I finally got this baby yesterday. its looks really cool. G2 rocks... but am having an issue right now,I sub on my air tel sim and my phone isn't connecting, its saying which wlan do I want to use. pls help a novice out ooo.
Go to settings and change ur APN(access point) to internet.ng.zain.com it should work.

Taking longer period to fully charged, Poor camera, poor display is very common to tecno phones nowadays and they are becoming more and more expensive by the days.

pacific4aul: some of us complaind abt gp2 ba3-1700mah n 512 ram v it in mind dt 2 different ba3 may v 17000ah n still possess different power output due to inbuilt systm.i do believe dt gp3 wit 4.3" despite same ba3 as p2 may b diffrnt in delivery.i can trust gionee on dt not tecno wit dia lie lie specs.

exactly my thought.

Talktrue2: my pes 2012 is also cool on it. pes 2013 emulator for PSP is also working fine now. this phone can be compaired to techno p5

My guy, even without custom roms this phone is better than p5. cheers

When it comes to best camera pls stop comparing tekino with Samsung, that 13mp on f8 is a fake and is not at even at par with 5mp of Samsung, Sony or HTC.

Bode2: I am currently using tecno p5 which is a very very good phone compare to some other tecno brand like L3,M3, Q1 and even gionee P2 owned by my friends
P5 has a sharp display ,play hd games and very responsive and cool in messaging. I am very happy and lucky to have gone for the phone.

Oga exclude P2 from ur list, you can't compare the display of P2 with that of P5. 16m colours vs 256k colours? no way!!!

Defaramade: Galaxy star pro is different from galaxy ace 3 o. Though they both have a 4" screen, star pro has a single core processor with 512mb ram while ace 3 has a dual-core processor with 1gig ram.

I know they are two diffrent phones, but its the star pro that was packged and sold as ace 3 here in nigeria that's why i said "known as galaxy ace 3 in nigeria" hope you get it.

dewisefrank: Galaxy star display is bad oga

I said "Galaxy star pro" known as galaxy ace 3 in nigeria. it has a 4" display with resolution of 480x800, 233 ppi and 16m colours (hope u know p5 has just 256k colours). the display is 100 times better than that of p5.

OP, I think you have been biased and unfair to samsung by comparing galaxy pocket with p5, you should have compare it galaxy star pro that has the same specs with p5 and sells for 19k.

directonpc: Still no custom rom for this stuff?

Go to GP2 thread, custom roms dey plenty for there Lols.

cosaret51: Crystal clear display;3g on both sims;better ram optimization;system/software updates;bot h camera working...review of bt3 perfm will come later.THIS IS MY NEw P2

A good reason why Gionee p2 is way better than it's rival.

WizAyedara: is already in naija, I bought mine in abuja today for #

Here's the link for PES 2012 it's about 190 mb apk+data, but you have to be registered with 4shared website before you can download it. http://www.4shared.com/rar/oCCXGXiE/Pes-2013-apk__Data.html

Mobogenie is an android store just like Google play, you can download or update your apps with Mobogenie app.
