For me the era of rooting phone to install custom rom is over. The last time I installed a custom rom on a phone was in 2015 when I was using a Gionee phone. Now with Xiaomi I have everything I need on a phone, if it was update I want I'd rather wait for for it from official source.

you need to exercise more patience, some times it may take weeks for your parcel to arrive your local post office from Lagos. I have one that arrived Lagos last week but yet to reach my post office.

This is fast! I'm really impressed by cainiao logistics. It took this package just 7 days arrive Nigeria. Now if I'm lucky, it may reach my local post office early December.

I'd Advise You Have A Person In The Post Office That Can Be Giving You Updates On Your Packages.

This Can Be Done By Tipping A Post Office Worker With Amounts Ranging From #200 To #500 Naira,
When You Go To Collect A Parcel.

It Just Saves You The Stress Of Going To The Post Office, Especially If It's Far.

After I read this ur comment, I went back to track my item back to back again and surprisingly it arrived in Nigeria that on the 5th night and by next day again that I checked in the evening it has been updated that it has got to my local post office and there was 2 failed delivery, I was like what which failed delivery, without any call or text so I rushed there (Friday evening) to claim my item o sharp. I would have posted this info since that day o but na antispam bot kept me on a tight leash for 3 days.

I'm free now and I got my item on the 6th Nov but I ordered it on the 4th Oct I think. I will post pictures later.

it is normal nowadays, I received a cainiao package yesterday, it arrived since 29th September. You will receive yours too.

My nipost guy just delivered my package, I have done an Unboxing video and thank God the screen comes in one piece.

Those with orders dispatched to Nigeria on Oct 2nd should check their local post office. Mine has already arrived in Jos, I have just received an email notification. Our items have since arrived Lagos maybe couple of weeks back but there was no update until today. One more thing, I'm seeing EMS Nigeria on the last update, could it be possible that EMS not Nipost handled the last transit from Lagos to Jos? Let's see tomorrow.

A nipost staff just informed me that he will deliver my package to me at home later today. I hope it is the important one.

So I ordered a replacement screen for my redmi 8 from aliexpress, knowing how shipping takes a long time now due to covid-19, I decided to get another phone as an alternative before the screen arrives. So I bought one Chinese phone Qiku 8681-m02, it has a decent spec, 2gb ram 16GB rom finger print scanner and a 4G network but it has no preinstall Google apps on it, but I have successfully installed the gapps using google installer. Now the problem is, google services has refused to connect with the Internet, every time I try, it wil take forever checking for network at the end it will show "can't connect to google servers". If anyone knows a solution to this, I need help please.

you need to root the phone first with kingroot. After rooting, download file xplore apk, install, open and grant it root permission, locate device and open system folder, inside system open etc folder and locate host file. Tap on it and open with text editor, clear everything and write "127.0.0.1 localhost" then save and exit, you should be able to log in to your Google. If this method did not work for you, download LINK2SD app and install it, open the app and grant it root permission, you see the list of all apps installed including system apps, now tap and hold on Google play services app, options will appear for you to choose what you want to do, choose convert to system app, repeat the same action with Google account manager, Google services framework, Google contact sync and Google play store. After you are done, reboot your device.

it is 50 50 chance, I experienced such situation twice before, although I have gotten my refund in both cases.

Not yet, my greatest concern is the condition of the package when it finally arrives. It is a phone screen, very fragile, the package might be damaged due to long period of shipping.

your question seems confusing but if you mean two or more items to buy and you want to use cainiao for item A and aliexpress standard shipping for item B, yes you can but they will arrive separately. Even if you use same shipping method they will still arrive separately since it is from different stores.

probably. If they feel it is unsafe to come to Nigeria at this moment they may delay the shipping. I have just seen a screenshot above, of someone's shipment was canceled, so yes this protest could have an effect on our aliexpress orders.

our Oct 2nd shipments may have been affected by the Chinese holiday of 1-8 Oct, maybe shipping was delayed or something.

I suspect so, because once tracking shows Dispatch to overseas postal admin, it usually arrives within 3-5 days but items dispatch on Oct 2nd is now more than 2 weeks yet to arrive.

cainiao shipping are trackable only to the point of "arrival at destination country".

My order of 27 Sept landed n I have received here in Akwa Ibom via Cainaio super economy

and my order of 17th September via same cainiao is yet to reach me in Jos. It landed in Nigeria since 29th September. NIPOST is still slow.
