Just received a package I ordered on December 21st last year. I have been refunded since February of this year. Package was shipped via China post ordinary small packets, this is the first time I have received from them.

the question should be has it been released into the Nigeria market? The phone was launched in China about 4 weeks ago, I don't think it arrives Nigeria yet.

well, the word "affordable" is subjective.

For your budget of 40k I think you should just choose between infinix and xiaomi and forget about Huawei.

Umidigi A7 pro is clearly the best here.

No matter how we hate infinix, we have to admit that they have stepped up with this phone.

I use 3 browsers on my phone, top on the list is
1. Uc browser, for most of my downloads and regular browsing including Naira land.
2. Opera mini whenever I have no enough data or I need to to download a Facebook video.
3. Chrome, I used it to translate websites that are not written in English.

For me it is one year, whether it develops a fault or not I will sale it and add more money to buy a new one.

if your item is shipped with either 4px or China post unregistered, you should keep on praying, because even before this covid-19 delays those two are very slow.

How long did it take to collect it when it showed arrived to Nigeria?

my order was Yanwen shipping, it arrived Nigeria July 18th, I collected it August 14th that's almost a month after arrival.

I hope your item will eventually arrive, because dispute on aliexpress nowadays is a 50 50 chance it could go either way.

DIY power bank, bought the box from aliexpress and source the batteries locally. It is serving me very well.

I received 3 Redmi note 8 and one Redmi 8 Global ROM (Only the 4gb + 128gb variant is Global version) ordered on June 17 in my local post office in ENUGU today.

I have tested all of them and the support MTN and Airtel 4g LTE.

First he's right about the 4G bands of Chinese versions, they don't have band 7 for MTN but you are also right because MTN uses band 3 in some locations in Nigeria, I'm currently using a phone that doesn't supports band 7 but MTN 4G is working perfect on it because there is MTN band 3 in Jos.

It has 4G network according to Gsmarena, though they did not specify which processor is used,maybe the African version will come with the mediocre 6580 outdated chip while other markets will get the 4G enabled version.

Since NIPOST main office at Ikeja is overwhelmed at the moment, they should draft some officers from other parts of the country to come and fasttrack clearing and processing of packages

exactly what one Nipost staff told me yesterday. He said the tones of packages at Lagos headquarters waiting to be cleared could take months.

it is yanwen, ordered on 30th June and arrived Nigeria on 18th July, it was fast but the delay from NIPOST is the reason why it took more than 40 days.

Today I went to the post office to check my package, guess what? It was there. According to them, they have been trying to reach me for over a week now but my number is not going through, I simply collected my package and left. Order took exactly 45 days to reach me.

as I said I have a friend working there, he usually picked my item whenever it arrives and brought it to me at home, but I think I will visit the office tomorrow.

Nipost old IPS site used to be the best for that but it hasn't worked since February

updates about tracking shipped with Yanwen usually stops the moment order is dispatch or arrive destination country, I wish Nipost tracking will come back soon.

which details again? Every tracking site I have used including track24 confirmed my order is in Nigeria.

I'm beginning to think that my item is either lost misplaced or stolen after arrival in Nigeria. I spoke to a friend who works at the Jos post office, he told me that they have been receiving parcels from twice a week since the ease down of the lock down two months ago, so it is surprising that my item has arrived in Lagos since July 18th but yet to arrive Jos after 3 weeks.

I think there is mix up somewhere. Smart 3 and 4 comes with Helio A22 chip, so why would they downgrade this one to mt6580?

I have a July 1st order yet to be received. All tracking sites that I check, shows my item arrived Nigeria on 19th July, but later, track24, global cainiao and trackitonline changed the update from airline arrive at destination country to a new update item was uplifted for plight to destination country, while 17track and package radar still maintained that airline arrive at destination country. I am confused, I don't what to believe again.

we are on the same page, mine arrived Nigeria on 18th July, I have even received an email from AliExpress that my order has arrived destination country, still waiting for NIPOST call.

for those thinking of using zenith bank i opened a zenith bank acount with my phone then i went to their nearest branch and ordered for atm card(visa) and within an hour i was done then i went home and bought something from aliexpress and zenith bank charged me #393/dollar so if you want to use zenith bank pls go ahead

that's the problem, as I always emphasize, the issue is not the low ram or the poor processor, but price. If the price is right nobody will complain, after all every company has it own entry level phones.
