well I guess my D3 is version 2 then, cos it's faster than you are suggesting though not like 3G, it doesn get hot and the battery is okay.

D3 is better than N3 when it comes to playing games and multi-tasking and there is no issue of low memory cos by default the D3 installs every games and apps on SD card. the only advantage that N3 has over D3 is 3G network.

My Tecno D3 is playing temple run smoothly without any lags, and i have not root it yet.

Apart from 3G network that the D3 lacks it is better than N3. it's fastest android phone by Tecno so far. If you want a faster browsing, go for N3 but if you want a smooth performance go for D3.

does the Airtel bundle for blackberry still works on android? if yes how do i subscribe to it.

I can. assure you it's original Tecno phone, just bought mine yesterday with all the warranty and everything and there is no N3 on their website you can only find the T1 which was their first android phone.

fabianblaise: I don't think tecno D3 comes from tecno telecom. I think the d3 is an imitation, though a good one. I searched for it on tecno's database. Its faster processor makes gameplaying very enjoyable, but the lack of 3G is a major setback. Video calling is NOT possible without 3G. I prefer internet to gaming anyway, and I'll gladly go with N3 which is original tecno. If you want a gaming smartphone with 3G(or even 4G LTE.lol), you should be ready to spend.
No two ways about it, I'm afraid.

yeah i know, it is just a feature phone not a smartphone but after using it you will realize the phone is better than many feature phones from nokia or samsung that cost twice the price of this one.

No, i don't think it can handle whatsapp although i've downloaded and install it, but failed to connect. and ofcourse it's a dual sim. anyway here is the picture of the phone.

T611 for my wife. the phone comes with

portrayed. all this for just 6000 naira. i
think in a few years to come Tecno will
dethrone the likes of Nokia as the king of

the specs are almost the same with the N3 except that the D3 has front camera and a flash at the back but unlike the N3 and most androids the D3 lacks 3G network.
