seakcom: download quick root and the firmware

pls xplain the firmware better I'm also interested in rooting mytouch 4G thanks.

Qtsnow: i search for the techno d5 on friday at the com village but got to dscover its no longer on sale, one of the attendant at the tecno microstation said the phone does hold app well so it was withdrawn from stock. i actually didnt mind if the phone doesnt have 3g cos my glo 2g is fast enough for me to do anything, even to run the google play store. later ended up buying the tecno Q1, the phone is such a fantastic phone with 3g, wifi hotspot, dual core, 4ghz cpu, 1ghz ram, 5.0mp with front camera with light indicator for msg, chat and calls. qwerty keypad with touch screen, the shape is like that of bold6 , andriod 4.0 sandwich uogradeable to jeallybean and it goes for 14800 - 16000

maybe they have decided to upgrade the phone with 3G that's why it's no longer available in the market cos pple are complaining about the lack of 3G network, especially on their Kenya Facebook page

we all appreciate what tecno is doing for us here, i mean smartphones at almost a give away price in fact I'm currently using N3 alongside HTC mytouch 4G but c'mon a smartphone without 3g is an abuse of the name "smartphone".

I have downloaded fifa12 on my N3 over 1.5 gig of data in about 3hrs with glo 3g network.

I have used tecno n3 ñ7 and d5. the fact is all d phone has some unique characteristics and sincerely d5 beat a lot wt d price of sold. d 2g or edge network is very fast amd browse faster than n3 on the edge range. d download on d5 fine using google store don't fail even wen u switch off d phone or ur money finished unless u cancel it intentional. the battery is very ok only dat it drain faster frm 100 to 73% and wen reach around 35 u can still mutitask for about 6 hours. wen download, u can turn off d screen lite and dat will automaticalky save ur battery. dat unique function can't b found on any oder phone. d5 has a screen resolution save as n7 which gv u a better image dan n7 bcs n7 has big screen and small resolution which gv out a blung. uvcan as well increase ur network by downlaod network strength frm google store. above all it has higher ram dan n7 and n3 coz it user ram is clock at 500mb ram ñ7 clock at 430 mb ram and n3 clock at 340mb ram.. download ram booter and u will find it or running application frm tecno settings. for dos who talk about 3g how many functional 3g do we hav around and power us wt better experience. d typing on d5 and multitasking is superb and hardly will d system closs ur app like n3 and n7. the smartest and big sensible screen is an applause. don't judge tecno , judge a phone like nokia who sold c6 and n97 for 38000 naira wt just 35mb user out of 120mb. have you ever tried downloading a file of 2GB on edge network? Until you successfully accomplished that then we can debate on wether D5 is good enough or not.

Surprisingly, the D5 is now scarce in jos. My friend wants to buy it, We have spent the whole of yesterday looking for it but it was out of stock i tried to convince him to buy N3 knowing that it is better but he was hell bent on buying this D5.

I just saw this phone today in Jos they are asking for 17k last price.

evido78: The D5 is a crap just like D3. Their ba3 drain too quickly. Its greatest setback is d lack of 3G. Downloading HD games and oda application is almost impossible. Youtube and webtv are no go areas. It runs on ics, but of what use is a ferrari without tyres? Dont waste ur money. N3 is by far better.

And hey it's 512 ram not 1gb.

My only concern is the lack of 3G network in this phone you can't watch YouTube smoothly , stream live football matches or even make a video call.

N7 is da bomb, u will enjoy gaming apps with its 5" fltscrn and 1ghz dual core with 512 ram. I sold my n3 same price I bought it (13.5k) and added some cash to get n7 @ slot illorin for 30k with free casing

It's just a matter of choice and convenience, it may interest you to know that while you're flexing with your N7 others are already busy preparing for Galaxy S4.

Pls. I need your candid advice about the two phones i am considering i.e. Tecno d3 and n3, i can do without 3g, and needs a great processing power and gpu, can I go with the tecno d3, but my main concern is about unavailability of forums and info about it on the internet and also no assured rooting method about it so far and also many pple just conluded that the phone is a crap without a reason. Can u kindly talk on the above points. Pls ur reply will be greatly appreciated. Thks.

I have used both phones D3 and N3, and they all have their pros and cons e.g the D3 have a dual core processor but lacks 3G network, while the N3 is a single core processor but have a 3G network so practically the D3 will be smoother and play HD games better than the N3 but then how long will it take you(if at all it will) to download a HD game like fifa 12 which is over 1.5 GB on D3 with a 2G network? In my humble opinion i think N3 is better.

I can't believe this phone has no 3G i'm really disappointed cos I've been waiting for it since the introduction of the N7 i knew there will be another one bigger than N3 but smaller than the N7 but now it turns out to be a crap mtseeew.

Hotdiamond: there are many advantages Nokia phones have Over other phone brands using the the Same windows os. Why not just add the 3k and a get a better phone at once.

The cheapest windows phone is huawei 4africa cheaper than lumia 520 just around 25k and it is windows 8.

Dude What i saw on your screen shot is 196kb/s and you're lucky to get that speed on airtel network mine is 20kb/s.
