Acunon, thanks you are doing a good job! Kindly assist me with getting a very low watt TV. We hardly have power in my area and I don't like missing soccer matches. I would prefer anything in the range of 15W to 20W maximum asap! better if lower than that. |
...and this guy has parents o! ![]() |

You have to enter your data on SPSS. Ensure you code them assign values to them e.g Male: 1, Female: 2. etc You cannot derive mean of non-parametric data because they do not have real mean (i.e where you use likert scale, e.g good, very good, average, excellent). You can only get their median. again you can only do a Spearman rank correlation for them, you cannot do pearsons test, t-test, or analysis of variance ANOVA as they are ordinal data with data central measure as median and Not mean. |

acunon:Acunon, na wa for you. Even in this Buhari economy. Guy, get me something close to that for 40K. That's my budget o! |
Hi Acunon, the black shiny HT behind in your last picx is how much. Reply asap (please quote your bearest minimum price, i.e last price) |
Leo3333:Then stay with your job o. UK post-study work has been cancelled, else I would have suggested exploring employment opportunities in the Uk after your studies. Tho traveling abroad for a postgraduate study used to increase job prospects, it's no longer an assurance for a job. A lot of UK MSc graduates are currently roaming the street of Naija without jobs. If you must go, save some of your scholarship funds to start a PhD immediately. A PhD will at least guarantee you a lecturing position in Naija if you can't get a job in UK. Mind you, however, that at the moment, fresh PhD graduates (even from the moon) are absorbed into Lecturer II position in Nigerian tertiary institutions with a starting net salary of 136k ! So think am well, because your current earnings is way beyond waht you'll most likely earn after a PhD (speaking from experience) |
cant you apply for a study leave |

samsard:haa..I was even thinking it's a newly bought AC, say 1-3months old. Abeg change your compressor and refil the gas ![]() Stil use the stabilizer tho! |
samsard:It's a sign that your compressor is not cooling. Normally, once a compressor picks, cooling starts! then the cool air circulating through the copper tubes condenses humid air and turns the humid air in contact with it into water droplets. I am really suspecting that if your setting is OK, your compressor is not fully engaged due to any of the following 2 reasons, namely: 1. Poor voltage supply 2. Bad compressor which may have been damaged by poor voltage. (in this case, if you return the AC, it may not be well received, because the problem was not the manufacturer's fault. this is the major reason why many people install voltage guard (just N4k/ or stabilizer to their AC. Compressors are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations and it could damage it.) When you first noticed it, you should have acted quickly to protect the compressor. Low gas level should be the last and least likely culprit. Very rarely for a new AC to have low gas level as a problem, even in old ACs, it quite rare and it's a sign that there is a leakage somewhere along the copper tube. If you refill gas without patching the leak, in just 48hours everything vanishes again! it must be sealed. However, in this case, I will not suspect low gas since your AC is new, except if during installation the coppper tube was accidentally cracked by a rough & careless technician. |
slimmoney:I agree low gas level or a bad compressor could also present such problems, but in OP's case., its a new AC and it's assumed a new AC should NOT have such issues. It must be the setting or low voltage. My first 1.5HP AC gave the same problems. After resetting it, I noticed the problem still persisted. It was the low voltage supply which really couldn't power up the compressor or sustain it when it picks. So I got a 5KVA stabilizer and that really solved the problem. Often PHCN claims of 220v is just around 180V or 200V at most! Electrical appliances require exact voltage specifications to function optimally. |
bishopkay:UWC There's a reset pin. If it has a Digital screen, check if has not been unintentionally placed on timer or call someone to reset it for you. Alternatively, switch off completely for a while. Switch on, drop the temperature further to say 16C. What you are experiencing usually happens if temp is on 22-25C to keep temp at room temp. |
1. check your voltage supp;y, is it regular or fluctuating? For Areas with low voltage supply, 1hp (or 0.75hp) performs better than 1 or 2 hp 2. Check your remote setting..is it on timer? deactivate time setting or reset cooling temp |
