I still don't understand how humans can make another human's life a misery. Bullying can affect one for the rest of their lives. Issues that might be funny to you can lead to many, many life problems for the person you're bullying.

I hardly ever talk about this or even if I do I just joke about it but never saying exactly how I felt going through what I've been through. My life was a hellhole back in high school. Anytime, I think of it, my eyes just well up with tears. I use to cry every single night because I wanted to go back to Africa, I was just fed up with the bullying. I remember being a top student, always the first in class. I use to follow the school rules, I use to get certificates and badges for my performance then my life just dwindled. My skirt got shorter, my attitude changed, I smoked, I would talk back at teachers. I would truant just so I won't get into fights or get picked on. I took my frustration out on my mother and I did contemplate suicide loads of times but if it wasn't for my mum, I don't know where I would be now. It's quite sad, that many still continue to go through such and continue to be unhappy even after years have passed. Humans can be absolutely vile. I always wondered how they sleep at night after a day of making someone's life miserable.
