Lanrejacobcfe: Please how do I register on switch health I have heard so many people talked about it. Meanwhile do you mean with my vaccination card I will be during a mandatory COVID 19 test at the airport and when is it advisable to do it. Lastly is it advisable to come with dollars or bring card to Canada. portal.switchhealth.ca You must do a pre-entry PCR test at least 48 hours to departure. Yes, even fully vaccinated travellers. There are also random tests carried out at the airport upon arrival at the port of entry. Fully vaccinated travellers inclusive. Please have some cash not exceeding $10,000 CAD with you in case your card doesn’t work immediately so you won’t be stranded. |

LANDING GIST
Our journey started on Saturday, January 22, 2022. We departed Port Harcourt International for Lagos. We arrived Lagos and did our Covid 19 tests the following day. The results were out same day at night. I printed all the documents I needed that night at the hotel where we lodged.
The following morning, January 24th we left the hotel and arrived at Lagos international airport at 10:00 AM. Upon entry into the terminal, we were directed to the Agricultural Quarantine Service where we declared the agricultural product in our possession. We were made to pay 2k for each of the bags containing food items. A certificate was issued.
We joined the queue for check-in, the queue was quite lengthy. I was given a yellow card for currency declaration. I got to where our bags were weighed. I had to pay N242,424 for 2 extra luggage. Those guys are not smiling. I got to know it would have been cheaper to cargo the two bags after I had paid. E pain me sha. Please try not to exceed your baggage allowance because those guys are just using this means to milk people of their hard earned money. If possible, carry things that are really essential. You will always find substitutes here.
We got to a desk where our documents were checked. They requested for the following documents - passport, ArriveCan, PCR test, Enrolment letter, copy of bio data page of passport and we were cleared. Endeavour to have at least 2 copies each of the above documents because they took one set at that desk and I was left with one set.
We proceeded to get our boarding passes. Our bags were tagged, we were cleared and given boarding passes. From there we proceeded to customs and cleared. At immigrations, our passports were stamped, the currency declaration forms were taken from us and we were cleared.
We crossed control and headed to the boarding gate. Joined the queue and our passports along our boarding passes were checked. Our carry-on luggages were checked and we went ahead to board. If you don’t have time to wait to be checked, you can “find them something” and they will let you go. Naija style
Flight took off at about 14:25 PM and arrived Addis Ababa at 18:54 PM.
We transited to our boarding gate because the connecting time was so short. Our passports were checked. We were asked for ArriveCan and PCR test which we presented and we were cleared for boarding.
We took off from Addis Ababa at 11:25 PM made a stop at Dublin and proceeded to Toronto. At the border we used the self service and printed the declaration form. Then joined a queue to where and officer asked me series of questions; What are you here for? Who do you have in Canada, What were your purpose of previous visits to Canada? Is this the first time you’re visiting Canada for Study? Where is your School? What’s your course of study? Where will you be staying? and other questions which I gave the responses. From there she directed us to where we were given our Study permits. They asked for the correspondence letter only which we were asked to come with.
Thereafter, we proceeded to claim our bags and went for Covid-19 test since we were picked for random testing. I had already registered with Switch health so it was easier. We were given test kits for my daughters who are not vaccinated. We checked in our bags to Vancouver flight.
From there we proceeded to border control where we were cleared and proceeded to our boarding gate for onward journey to Vancouver. The check at Toronto no be play o. Our carry on bags were checked over and over again. I was almost stripped naked. Na wetin dem dey find sef? God pass dem sha. I patiently waited for them to carry out their checks since I had ample time before my next flight. They sha apologised for wasting our time.
We arrived in Vancouver at 5:02PM January 26, 2022, disembarked and went to claim our bags. The Uber app on my phone came in handy. I connected to the internet at the airport and got a taxi that took us to our destination.
We arrived safely to the glory of God. I have forgotten about all the stress I went through to be here. I can’t even remember any. I return all the glory to God.
You see Ethiopian Airlines? If you can, please avoid them. Dem carry me tour round the world, Haba!
To everyone waiting, Godspeed. Your joy shall be full.

Sorry about the slight delay. This would be resolved once the GCMS note is here. Masterlee13: My refusal letter came in today. First time applicant. Applied August 26,2021. Reason is based on personal asset and finance status. I have already order my GCMS note to see the reasons in details before I re-tackle it. We move and I know it PPR in my next application. I will appreciate everyone contribution. I really appreciate everyone for their efforts and for everything I have learnt so far from this group. The likes of Frankrobbn, makano, lekkibobbe, anon, ketima, tinakem, timenzo etc. To everyone awaiting I wish you PPR and to those in maple land I wish you all success. We go meet soonest. |

I’ve been battling with respiratory issues since July, 2021. I used to go out to run in the early hours not knowing the black soot was gradually causing harm to my respiratory system.
I woke up on January 4 and noticed the mosquito net I sleep under was not looking white. I rubbed my palm on it and you’ll be amazed at what I saw. My palm was black. Attached is a picture I took on January 4th. All doors and windows closed just so you know.
There’s no way that net would have been able to trap all the soot meaning I have still been inhaling it.
I mop my floors everyday, I can’t go bare feet so I’m either on stockings or have slippers on. Hanging of clothes outside is a wrong move. Leaving of doors and Windows open is highly not advised.
I feel for my kids because they have to keep inhaling this thing. I had to send them to Uyo during the holidays. They came back yesterday because schools resume tomorrow. My older daughter started sneezing shortly after she came into Port Harcourt meaning the she’s already reacting to the bad air.
Residents are slowly dying and something needs to be done urgently.

I started my study visa journey in 2019. I had wanted to go to Fanshewe College and so I contacted an agent from the list I got from the college. The agent I spoke to told me I didn't have a chance because I am 37 years old, I have just a BSC and my salary isn't up to 1m. My study gap is 16 years. He told me he could help get the admission but he can assure me I won't get a visa. I was very sad hearing what he said but I didn't allow it affect me.
I went online and started doing my research. I applied to three colleges. 2 offered me admission and 1 denied me. I picked 1 from the offer I got and applied for a visa myself. I didn't use any agent.
I got a medical request and IRCC said my medicals wasn't submitted by Qlife. I contacted Qlife and said they had transmitted the result and can't do it twice. I went into prayers and eventually my medical was updated to pass after 2 months and then the wait began.
Applied 15th August Medical request 15th Sept Medical updated to pass 15th Nov PPR 6th Jan.
I just want to encourage those that are yet to apply, to please do so and those waiting, I wish you all the best. I summarized the journey but if you wish to ask any question, please feel free to contact me on queenlumidee@gmail.com. Where do I get the consent form please. I need a direct link
Thank you all |

God did it! Congratulations!!! chineni: It has ended in praise. PPR ALERT. Third time applicant. What God cannot do does not exist. I was admitted to UBC in 2019. I have had two refusals. The ist in 2019, the reasons were many... reason for visit, finances, no family ties, employment etc. The application was a disaster.
I deferred to 2020. By then I was married and had my son. I started online and started building my profile. I got a job working remotely as a research assistant for my professor in Canada. I applied and got financial aid and extra funding. Ohhh my admission came with 95 percent funding covering my school fees.
I was still a bit broke and by the time I applied in April 2021 I got another refusal in July 2021. I got the NSE letter and ignored it by the way. The reason was funds. I wasn't surprised. I haven't started getting payments for the work I was doing as a research assistant. I barely had up to 2 million in my account. Now for this third application. I'll put up my timeline and documents. . Bear with me... its plenty ohhh. Lol
Timeline: Submitted my application: 27th October 2021 Medicals upfront updated: 17th November 2021 Eligibility review: started around 29th or 30th Dec. Just logged in and saw it. BVL and PPR: 6TH JANUARY

My husbands employment letter and ID CARD
These are the only ones I can remember. Lol. I'm grateful to God. I encourage any 2nd or 3rd applicant to be hopeful. It will end in praise. To God be the glory. |

Congratulations to your brother. qudusbalogun89: ALHAMDULILLAH!!!! My younger brother application was approved today at the 3rd attempt.
The first application was handled by one travel agent company (Snowfox). The application was submitted on September 2020 and got rejected the same month after payment exorbitant fee. It was during this first application process that I got to know everything about visa application because it was more or less like I was the handling the application. The application was rejected based on purpose of visit, financial asset and employment history.
I handled the second application myself and I submitted the application on 6th November 2020. I got advise from one agent that I would need a lawyer to draft the LOE that would address the refusal reasons which I did. The mistake I did was that I didn't apply for the gcms notes before reapplying and it backfired as the application was also refused the second time 7 months later, 9th June, 2021 based on the purpose of visit and financial assets.
I got to know this thread after the submission of the second application and it helped me in the third application. I patiently waited for the gcms notes to arrive. I sent an email to @Frankrobbn to assist me but he said I should pay 20k as consultation fee before he can say anything, I was like wawu!
After that, I reached out to @Justmellow and he immediately offered to assist. He gave me advise on what and what to do and also helped me to rewrite the SOP and LOE because my younger brother was actually switching career from Architecture (OND) to Computer Science (BSC), Universityof Regina. I only paid for the two letters.
The third application was submitted on September 18 after Justmellow had reviewed the documents and gave me go ahead, and here we are today.
My people, always do your due diligent, pray and be patient. The PPR will definitely come at the right time.
And again, do not joke with your SOP as it is one of the key factors that can convince the VO to approve your application. If you can't write a convincing SOP please reach out to Justmellow, he will do a justice to your SOP and guide you throughout the application process.
I've started my own application too but I've not submitted it.
I really appreciate Justmellow for always responding to my message. You are indeed a guru!!!. |

It’s PPR for my daughter. It dropped around 2:30 PM but I saw it around 5:00 PM when I was setting up for the NSO. So, I decided I will not let IRCC rest until they borrow themselves brain and approve my daughter’s application. My application was approved on December 15, 2021 so why was my daughter’s own still hanging? I started sending mails from mid night and set alarm for hourly reminders. I sent mails to as many IRCC email addresses including Lagos and Abuja. Note I used “URGENT - Application number” as subject. Before today, I used just URGENT. For whatever reason, I decided to add the application number to the subject make dem no talk say e hide for the body of the email. At 11:37 AM Lagos pleaded with me not to send further emails in order not to fill their mailbox that my mails have been forwarded to the office handling my daughter’s application. That really cracked me up. I shared it with my friend and we were both laughing about it.Tor! I sha told her that they will know no peace until they borrow themselves brain and finalize my daughter’s application. I stopped disturbing Lagos because my friend said dem fit block me but I just gave them some respite since they had begged but kept sending hourly mails to other IRCC emails. I got busy from 2PM putting up a surprise birthday party for my colleague. It was around 5PM when I was setting up for my NSO I realized that Abuja sent me an email at 2:31PM notifying me that the office processing my daughter’s application sent me an “important letter” and at about 2:32 PM the email from CIC had dropped. I logged in and there the passport request letter was. You know what? I had made up my mind that I was going to disturb the living hell out of them today. Sorry it’s coming now because I had to attend the live session of the NSO. The afternoon session starts in 5 minutes. God will do it for all of us. I bless God for this family. I love you all. God did it and it ended in praise! Kankanio: My people, GOD DID IT!
A do-not-reply email from cic dropped this morning at 09:39AM and a second one dropped at 09:45AM, I was scared to my bone. I had to sum up the courage to sign in to my account to check. My people, application approved!
I return all the glory to God and say a big thank you to everyone here. You guys kept me busy during the wait because I kept coming here to read the testimonies. I stumbled on this platform in June, 2021 and somehow contacted a few persons whose names were referenced. Of all the people I contacted, @Frankrobbn1 gave me the hope to go on this journey. I kept asking him, Frank are you sure? He may have even been tired of me asking. I just want to say thank you, Frank and may God bless you richly. I am 44 years old just so you know. MBA Universitity Canada West. My School resumption date is January 10, 2022. I applied with my 5 year old daughter. Though hers is yet to be approved, I know it will come.
I watched @Blavkmaann video on youtube where he was celebrating the submission of his term paper and said some words of prayers. While the prayers were going on, I felt the urge to place my hand on my phone. He got to a point where he made this pronouncement “If you’re not in the abroad ….. may the person handling your visa application approve it in the Mighty name of Jesus.” I shouted Amen. The unction was so strong and at that point I knew it was a done deal.
To everyone waiting, yours will surely come. Just find ways to take your mind off it. For those who have been delayed, as I’ve come to learn on this platform, Request for your notes, Re-package and Re-fire.
TIMELINE I submitted on August 15, 2021 Background check started almost immediately I had already done biometrics in 2016 Did an upfront medicals on August 31, 2021 Medicals updated to pass on September 2, 2021 Eligibility Review started on October 13, 2021 Then the long wait! Iffylove: Okay, thank you, I thought they are supposed to approve it together since they are just minor... It will ultimately end in praise I had thought so too but the reverse is the case. It will surely end in praise. |

Perseverer: Hi esteemed members,
I sent my passport via DHL to Abuja. But I was only charged 6940. I don't think this is for two-way courier. (Passport is scheduled to be delivered on December 30).
Is there something I can do about this? I paid #13,800 for two-way that is #6,900 each. Again, it depends on your location. Charges could vary based on where you’re sending from. Were you given 2 way bill numbers? If yes, you’re on track. If no, you might need to go back to DHL for further advice. |

Iffylove: Hello everyone, I got my ppr a week now & I haven't gotten that of my son. I have sent mails to ircc, telling them the need for the timely approval of his visit visa, but I haven't received any response. If you had experience this, please what can I do, need to make plans for flights. Thank you all Merry Christmas You’re not alone. I applied with my 5 year old daughter. I got my approval on 15th. I’ve been sending emails as well. I hope they respond soon so one can make arrangements for flights. Let’s stay positive. |
