Says the minimum fare is 300 naira, charges are ridiculously cheap and that you only get a fair amount of rides when the tertiary institution in town is in session. This is not to discourage you in anyway. As you can see, I'm only telling you what I heard from someone else. Give it a trial and see how it goes.

Hw is ur spark plugs because ur engine to Short oil wella and not smoking u beta do proper check up even compression test if possible

That black stuff on the injector mouth(cable trottle.
It has a wire attached to it.
If u pull the cable out,
U Will notice ur steaming reduce.
Now my own is not even responding.

Me like this dont even have the patience to fix that engine again.
Already it has sludge.
N am not a fan of opening engine every now n then hence i just wanna replace

The shorting of oil has gone bad though the smoke is still not noticable.

And another thing is that its making some noises which m really not comfortable with.
Steering pump is also on its way out.
The steaming sensor is bad .

So i have resorted to not fixing anything like this.

I even downgraded to a cheaper oil sef just recently.

Funny enough it doesnt consume fuel.
I still don't know how an engine with all the problems like mine Will still have chilling AC n not consume fuel.
It amazes me.

N m also scared of inflation cus of the way things are going.

The car has been really good really good sha.
Though as am talking like this,
I need to get a new engine for it cus the previous owner didnt really take care of it but the body is still toks standard.
The engine is still pulling and very strong,
Though its shorting oil n smoking and i dont have the patience to work on it hence i wanna replace.
I wanted selling it of to get another naija used but people adviced that i just change the engine considering the prices of cars now.
So that's it guys.
The car has been really good oo.
I never visit mech workshop for over 1 month now and this is a car i drive daily for ehailing.
Since am not in lagos.
I will be traveling with the car to aba to do the engine swap hopefully by next month.

PS. I heard that direct japan 1zz is 320k.

For a car to be fit for ehailing, I suppose it is still in good condition; engine, transmission, ac, interior, body and other functionalities...if so then N530k is quite cheap for a buy and drive 04 civic, considering how much cars go for nawadays. Hence I asked for full disclosure.

The Volvo:
Like I said, drive the car for 1yr on ehailing then u do review. Ruggedity and receptivity to stress, quality and durability of parts, cost and frequency of change, ease of problem solving etc...so far what u know is purchasing cost and fuel consumption...

In this business, I think cost of startup is less important than cost of running/maintainance, let's not even talk about second hand value and ease of liquidation. However, we have to consider all 3 factors before establishing which car is best for the job.

I met a driver at bolt inspection he just got 03 Corolla and bragging of 80k mileage

My Corolla 05 makes a knocking sound when I put on the ignition with the engine oil light on. It goes off when throttle down and sound normal.

Also, the engine oil light blinks when car is idle or while braking mostly when the engine is warm and must have work for several minutes or hour.

I have just charged the oil pump thinking that was the culprit but the problem still persist.

What could have gone wrong pls expert in the house?

This is a problem in the making. If you ignore the symptoms of an overheating engine which your car is exhibiting you’d eventually have only yourself to blame.

Check your coolant level and fan speeds if you’re sure you have no leakages or a radiator with blocked fins.

i don't use coolant though,
no leakages in the radiator..
plus i just flushed my radiator on 3 days ago

i noticed that my car is more agile n drives more effortlessly at 6 pm when the sun is down.

Sure you've heard of X and Y theory, that 50k is just a motivational factor, which is why you have bonus, but the point here is consistency.
