The C.P is a very stupid man, sense is far from him. In line with what the estate management said, even if they have to wait for feedback from the security men. They didn't stop him, they were only trying to give him directions and voom as per the first estate the C.P is entring since he resumed office, he decide to test power.

I dont know where you read that they didn't give him access . He was just power drunk and on arrest rampage.

If you believe they were trying to give him direction despite your own experiences with those estate security men then you can believe anything.

I will put most of the blame on the guest. He was supposed to have informed the security men ahead of his arrival.

If he did and the security men still decided to be unfortunate, they deserve everything that happened to them

You should mention names o ...... And if you can't mention names . It means you not sure if it was the oil or your engine packed up ..........

I believe people deserve a second chance. I want to believe he genuinely did not know the oil was fake.

I have called his attention to it privately. I expect him to look into his supply chain to understand why that happened and to prevent it in the future.

Those guys are very useless and hopeless, they will want to sweet tongue you to work on engine and gear when they know the possibility of it not working is there.
I always advocate for changing of worn out parts and have peace, though the issue have always been how to get original parts.

He even told him not to pay till he confirms that the gear has been fixed. He "fixed" the gear, it was test driven and everything seemed to be fine and he was paid.

Less than a week later the gear packed up on his way to Benin despite not going above 80km/hr as advised by the "gear specialist"

Omo!!! Reasoning too full your head....I thought about this, all these foreign brands of items...whenever they come into country they ain't the same standard bro....so why waste your money...na just trademark dem dey sell...I'll rather go with this piece of advise

He who has an ear let him hear. If you have a trusted source for Mobil 1, by all means buy. If you can't get from a trusted source, its better to buy original 20w50.

I almost destroyed my engine because I bought fake synthetic oil from a so called trusted seller on nairaland.

I would rather be using the NorthWest synthetic oil 5W30 then... Its only 14k for 4ltrs than use 20W50 that oil killed my Honda engine and made it smoke b4 I sold it out though the smoke was not noticeable.

Fort Oil sells Castro and I've a genuine plug for Liquidmolly directly from Germany but the cost is my major concern.

I'm seriously considering giving the NorthWest a try.

Thanks for your opinion tho

The 20w50 did not kill your engine. Your delayed oil changes did. Go and see how clean the engine of people using 20w50 is. All they did was change the oil regularly.

What car type and model .

I experienced it with Honda CRV and on the long run I had to buy a new gear, kindly don't drive it so that if what spoilt inside is salvageable, so you will not have to buy a new gear, mine is just exactly as you explained yours..

As a first aid approach, drain the current oil when the car is warm and replace with a recommended one (when the car is warm as well). If that solves it ...great ( if not, try the next)

If your gear uses a solenoid cable, get a very good gear rewire tech to check if any is bad, the solenoid is on the gear and it has like up to 3 in some gears, it controls the drive, reverse and some other component.

Caution: if any of the above didn't solve the gear issue, please my brother I know it's hard, don't go for a rebuild gear, they will sing to you that can rebuild or repair it...the repair is just like changing a cloth drained by rain to a dry one just to enter same rain again.

Ensure anything you are doing, it must be done when the gear is warm not hot, becaus in its current state it will easily burn all internal component of the gear.

I wish I saw this on time. My friend spent N180000 to fix his RX350 transmission. It all went down the drain. He's now looking for 500k to buy a Tokunbo.

Pls who has genuine and regular plug for the following oil and prices I'm looking at having a change of oil for my car the mobile 1 is getting too expensive and i need to look for a cheaper alternative that's also very good

1) Castrol GTX Magnatec Full Synthetic Oil

2)Royal Purple High Performance Synthetic Oil

3)Shell RotellaT6 Full Synthetic Diesel Oil

4) Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil

5) Valvoline Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil

6) Castrol Edge Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil

7) Valvoline High Mileage with MaxLife Technology Synthetic Blend Motor Oil

The No.1 on the list is what I'm actually considering due to its magnetic xteristics during cold start or warm up. Though all of them are good products so I'll be going for the one with the best price because I'm a business man no time for sentiment now.

Pls if anyone has a good and genuine plug kindly avail me their contact need to service my car latest this week @6k miles.

Lastly, what do you guys think abiut the Castro sold by FortOil filling stations is it the same as the one produce abroad or made for Nigeria market?

Unpopular opinion. Just buy 20w50 from a reliable Mobil station and change religiously every 3000 miles.

Better to use original Mobil 20w50 that you change frequently than buy fake penzoil or whatever that you'll keep in your engine for long because you thought you got an original

We do have multiple buyers for each vehicles and sometimes we dont. And if we don't we sell the cars when it gets to LAGOS.. I try to buy the cars low as possible . This is why I prefer buying from private sellers .......
And to put it out there. The profit margin on cars are very low .Some of these guys are making 50k 100k or some are getting just their capital, and some are 3rd party car dealers. Someone will bring a car today to sell. They fix it up etc and than sell on behalf of their client . we have many of them on nairaland and all over LAGOS. The exchange rate is not helping at all . As of today Dec 28th 2021 buying dollar is 565
and selling is 558. ..........

But in my own case , I load containers and I can't just load without filling it with cars. The cars are used to offset the container goods. So whether person put deposit or not . I go buy and load inside container. And cars I look for are not that rare .... I usually buy the following types of cars.......

1. Hyundai elantra
2. Volvo Xc90
3. Hyundai vearcruz
4. Camry and Toyota if the price is right for container loading...
5. Toyota sienna.

There is nothing rare about this vehicles. And I was thinking of buying a ford edge(pic below) . but the deal didn't go through ... And I have never had issues selling this cars at all . The most important thing is to buy them cheap enough. And most times I do come across very good deals.

I'll chat you on WhatsApp

I either get a call or email and asking more infor about the car . I than send more detail videos to all the prospective buyers.......

Some will show interest and be willing to put down deposit for the car. And we ask them each how much are the willing to put down. So we than look for the highest person, this shows high probability rate the person will buy it . once we confirm an alert we seal the deal .........

Once the vehicle is almost getting to LAGOS , we let the person know . And once he sees the vehicle and satisfy . He has 5 business days to make remaining balance

This is clear now. Thanks.

This model assumes there will always be multiple buyers for every vehicle.

What if the vehicle the person want to buy is rare and he's the only one interested in it. How do you determine the amount of deposit to take

When it comes to cars it's a bit difference .. We look for the highest person with a deposit.. We than do a detail video of the car and send it to the person.

Can you explain this part in bold. Not very clear

We don't want to chase you up and down when goods arrive.. We dey enter 2022 with more sense

I dont know which Language to tell you guys that it doesn't work with everyone, I have paid in 3,500 since last week Friday and till now it has not reflected. I have communicated with them, sent reference number and sender's name and yet they have not done anything.

So with this experience, do u think I will be encouraged to make payments of bigger amount to bolt next time?

All these ones are excuses.

If you have ever worked in an environment with a lot of pressure and deadlines you will know that no one cares about the challenges you have. Just get the job done or you're out.

If you paid and is not reflecting, others are paying and theirs is reflecting. Find out what they are doing differently.

If you are serious about working on weekends, do whatever you have to do to make sure you work.

What the fvck wrong with guys at the MM2?

Y’all be gisting shit and setting only island trip like mehn it’s sick….

I got to mm2 I saw request Surulere rider said he’s waiting at the car lot… fine I zoom c1…

I picked the guy and the guy narrated to me that he’s going to show the last bolt guy and teach him a lesson…

I was like boss what’s the problem?? He said he requested bolt and saw 1.9 which is fine by him and the fee is like 4,700 to 5,500… he called the guy and calling his name and told him he’s at the park… could you believe this guy told him straight that he’s going to collect 7k offline…. What

He said he told him he’s also a bolt guy but the guy no send…

Well I calm the guy down but to be honest this is sickening…. I did same trip and took airport oshodi which sum up to 6500! so these people are just painting themselves bad…

Like if the guy complains to bolt it’s automatic block I mean it’s not right now

Didn't Felicity just come up with a new account? What did Bolt do? They rewarded him N25000 bonus for getting blocked. Me self no go mind getting blocked

Summary is nobody send Bolt block again

I know someone that sent in 30k. No time for stories. It's still your money

None was updated until Saturday. Just 5k was updated.
The whereabouts of the balance 5k9 is unknown till this moment.

Several back and forth mails to no avail. Dumped the damned app till my money returns.

I don't have issues with payments so I can't speak on this. Once I pay, it reflects under 30 minutes. I pay with First Bank.

Any serious business person should know this. I sent in 15k on Friday.

I simply set a reminder for 2pm so I don't forget, immediately the alarm went off. I paid in. Meanwhile I was on a card trip as then that ended 7900 that didn't stop me from putting in the 15k.

Sent in a total of 20k on Friday. First 15k and another 5k.

I had N27000 to work with (20k I paid+owing them 7k before restriction).

I would have to gross a total of 136k on Saturday and Sunday for me to be restricted which I knew was not possible.

If you're serious and ready to work you should pay in sufficient money on Friday.

Seems many travellers have gone out of lagos.

Schools are going on holidays. Traffic usually reduces when schools close. I first noticed it long ago when I was in secondary school and its still like that today.

When riders rush and ask me which route I'm taking. I'm like, Alaye calm down. I need to check the map

I can say I'm 70% maintenance balanced, cos of the good road here in Abj.and toks of honda accord 2006/2007 is 2m -2.2m compare to corolla of same year which is on the high side. Note: im just enrolling to driving school.

While I can't say much about Abuja roads, I also thought the same about Lagos till I started ehailing. I felt the issue of bad roads in Lagos were being exaggerated.

I didnt drive one month before I realised the bad roads are not being discussed enough.

Riders will take you to some very bad roads you never knew existed.

Just keep that in mind. The roads may not be as good as you think they are.

If your wife starves you of sex, as a married man myself, I can boldly tell you that she is either not so attracted to you or she doesn't love you that much.

My own wife is hot, classy and too busy, yet she chases me around with it. I am even the one that tries to convince her that we dont need to make it a too frequent stuff so we both don't get tired of it with time, and to also give me time to concentrate on my numerous other engagements.

Any married man that his wife is starving of sex should know that three things are involved;

1) she is not so attracted to you the husband

2) she is falling out of love with you for some underlying reasons you need to find out.

3) she is seeing someone else or planning to

This is nonsense. If your wife has a high libido, it's not the case with many other men
