Oga! Vikings is part of the people that literally say you can piss on your boss's head to join the hustle but his posted dashboard earnings says otherwise.

So where was I wrong to say he didn't make 5k an average from his part time earnings he posted.

I will say it again, I have only responded to what was posted.

Lol, you are only seeing what you want to see.

Look at his last month earnings how much did he make daily on average?

Seems you missed his recent earnings.

I have posted it again. Does this relate to N5k daily worst scenario?

The keyword you missed is average

Truth be told, working hard now makes no sense and doesn't worth it.

Please exert that energy at the needed time which is Dec period.

Between now and December nko? Family no go chop grin

This is what pearl1910 was saying the other day. December earnings don spoil everybody. He drives his own vehicle and can still make an average of 5k daily assuming a worst case scenario.

You are right sir, when you end a ride It will show the original fare on your screen but rider won't see it until you rate and confirm, that is when they'll see the original on their receipt what they will be showing you is the estimated date shown to then while booking.

I'm always telling them wait you'll get your receipt now then click confirm gbam they'll see the original fare and gbenudake.

Later you will say you drive part time.
Part time drivers can NEVER win this.

Only bolt knows how they do that thing. I didn't do any serious work last December as I mostly worked Fridays to Sundays.

I was surprised when they sent me the mail in January.

It's actually unbelievable. If it's truly toks

The Canada guy sold a corolla a couple of weeks back for 2.2m. Whoever bought it can put out a similar deal

Corolla is just a breathe of fresh air. Now I see why it is very popular in this country. It’s been 6 months since I got my Corolla and apart from going for servicing once in awhile I’ve not had any reason to visit any mechanic despite my rough handling. cheesy

Wetin my Honda Accord use my eye see last year till I sold it. God forbid!

This is around the time when the expenses start coming. Hope you're ready for them.

I bought a Matrix October last year Toks. Between October and March, the only thing I changed asides cabin air filter was the horn

This month, I've spent 35k fixing one thing or the other. So brace up, it's coming

Bosses in the house, I need you oh.
This trip showed 4,100 on my driver app, but it showed 3,600 on the rider's app with my details on it, abeg how do I resolve this and what could have been the issue?
I had to collect the 3,600 from the rider like that cos I had a request who was waiting for me to avoid cancelation.

Why do I feel the 3600 the rider was showing you was the initial estimate when she booked the ride. In my experience, riders tend to do this a lot.

what if the rider disagrees standing by what shows on their app.

Then you collect whatever the rider pays and get your balance from Bolt.

So in essence you’re trying to tell us that all the Corolla’s that are naija used and selling for N1.5m and above have not been abused?

So because a car has a high resale value it means it can never be abused?

To even get a corolla that has not been abused is difficult but your chances are much higher compared to the civic.

To get a Nigerian used civic in good condition is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Yes, u can get a good 2003-2005 naija used Civic for less than 1m.
I guess the one Tojah is selling is good enough then u put in about 100k repairs after buying it.

Transmission oil shouldn't be changed regularly like that provided it's d original one. Atleast ones in 2years.

There is no good naija used civic. They have all been abused with reckless abandon. That's why they are mostly sold for peanuts

I believe batteries Na luck.
Bought a battery January 2019 I will look for the name /picture, I sold same battery with my car 2022, no issue at all.
When I had alternator and Kickstarter problem I was already pricing battery before I realized it’s not battery.
And before then I changed battery almost every 2yrs

Did you use the battery for ehaling from 2019 all through to 2022?

Except you want to limit car entrance to tokunbo cars, nawadays maybe only 20% of cars entering ehailing are tokunbo.
This is basically because of the price of tokunbo cars. And like u rightly pointed, it's not wise to invest 3m and get 120k monthly when ur capital isn't 3m anymore the moment u register the car.
But if u get a good naija used car it will serve just as good as a toks. If u still insist on toks then u can settle for any four-plug, max 2.4litre engine car. Such as Kia, Hyundai, Mazda 3, Volvo S40, Benz C200 Kompressor, Peugeot, Audi, Passat etc just forget anything Toyota and Honda. Although Toyota Avensis is also a good car and cheaper than Corolla of same year, u can check it out.

That time don pass. Na okada business I wan do now. cheesy

Less capital, more ROI

Lols...which year will naija used Corolla be worth 3.4m? Many many years to come
If toos Corolla is too expensive, people will just buy other types of cars, Corolla is not the only car that can be used for ehailing. So it's not an advantage in any way.
Moreover if u sell ur Corolla 1.7m like Felicity advertised, will it not be enough to buy 2 Civics like Tojah advertised? That's two cars in the place of one. So as people do away with their Corollas it's more cars coming into ehailing. That's what I think

Can you give examples of these other type of cars bearing in mind that there are people like myself who will never buy any other car not foreign used for ehailing. The same thing that will make Tokunbo corolla more expensive will also make the alternatives more expensive. In Nigeria of today, it is almost impossible to import any car for less than 2m.

People will divert the money they would have used to buy vehicles on ehailing to other ventures with better ROI which will result in less vehicles coming into ehailing

The reason you rightly stated is exactly why dealers aren't buying it as before.

I ran through jiji and saw one with 3.2m asking price. If the expected increase in custom duties happens, I hope 4m will be enough to buy a corolla.

Maybe there's a silver lining in all of these for existing drivers. "New" cars coming into ehailing will reduce and a lot of partners will sell off their cars. Since they can sell their corollas for 3.4m Nigerian used, what's the sense in leaving it on Bolt to collect 30k weekly.

Less cars on ehailing, the more the demand and the more the surge.

Abeg, be like say I don't know what's going on. I'm kinda confused.
Why is it that there are more Toyota Camry than Corolla from people who wan give rental?
I've got like 2 more people around me now, na this Camry 03/04 all of them get. Please is there anything that has changed, my bosses in the house?

Seems pretty obvious. Who is going to buy a corolla of 2.8-3m to earn 30k weekly?

The corolla is now out of reach of most people. Check nairaland auto section, how many corollas do you see? I also think dealers are not buying it any longer as they used to

I rent out all my vehicles at N35000 per week do all the repairs, isn’t N27,500 on the low side considering the cost of repairs

It is but should be the lowest amount any partner should collect except he has access to cheap cars like Dru.
