Don't reapply yet. Have a heart to heart chat with your uncle, on how he got into the US. After that plan a trip to the US, with your wife and kids. Take them to the US Embassy for a visa interview, one year from now, so you won't look desperate. I hope your wife, that's a medical doctor can explain what she does, because that will be asked of her. No documents needed apart from your Nigerian passport, ds-160 confirmation page and the appointment paper. If you don't appear with your wife and kids, you won't get that visa. That VO is thinking something is fishy- again ask your uncle how he got into the US. samclnt: Greetings, great minds. I've been a silent reader here for quite sometime. Nice job y'all are doing. Thumbs up. Please I need an advice. I applied for NIV visa sometime last year... and here goes the transcript: VO: how are u Me: very fine, and u VO: good VO: Where and why are u travelling to the states? VO: Houston, texas. To visit my uncle VO: what does he do for a living Me: he's a business man VO: Where in Houston does he reside? Me: he lives...... VO: have u travelled b4 Me: yes...sa. also my birth country ( but i've also travelled to Benin republic with a car dealer where I bought my car. My passport wasn't stamped at the time so I couldn't state it as part of my travel history. Don't knw if it was the right thing to do) Vo: Where do u wrk Me: I wrk at....as.... VO: u married Me: yes..with two kids VO: what does ur wife do for a living Me: she's a medical doctor Vo: why are u not travelling with her. Me: because she's working; and taking care of the kids for school. Only travelling for 2wks. VO: Am sorry....u can reapply. So please don't know what went wrong. now my leave is coming up nxt month and I want to reapply. wifey is 4mnths pregnant . 1. Should I apply with her? 2. I don't know if my uncle is eligible to invite someone or not, since he hasn't before though he's a LPR. Should I use him again as my purpose Or go for a vacation and book for hotel even if am travelling alone? since I can ft the bills. 3. I've got a conference on my profession in the states I can attend since it falls the same period with my leave. Can I use that as my key purpose? NB: I have no intention or whatsoever not to return back after my stay. I've got a perfect job here and I love my country that I don't intend settling somewhere else. Please ur advice is kindly needed. I'll really appreciate. Thanks |

Do you think they give a damn. Give them an excuse to deport you and you will be deported, your leaders, your currency, your economy and your explanation be damned. Help yourself. Give them less reasons. But hey, if you think you can give concrete reasons, you are more than welcome to try your luck. If you are looking at cutting cost, should you really be travelling? Why not wait till you don't need to "cut cost". Vorpal: So explaining to them at the POE that was done to cut cost given how much our leaders have bastardised our currency does not suffice?
Anyway, the officers better be economically sound. |

Noooo...when his uncle starts saying stories that touch nko? Although it's possible to get the tickets from the US, be prepared to be drilled at POE. inikamoze: Good day house. Compliments of the season. A friend of mine and his family got issued a visit visa to the US, they will be staying for just three weeks, to cut cost of flight fares, he was told to send his money to his uncle in the US to buy them tickets as it would be cheaper buying their tickets from over their as compared to getting the tickets here in Nigeria. Is that in any way possible? And if they did will that not be a point of concern or raise issues for them when they get to POE? They are holidaying in Texas. |

The answers to these questions, will let you know, if you should wish your enemies dead, holy ghost fire or otherwise. kuzi1: Very often than none we hear many churches while praying against the enemies scream, "Holy Ghost...Fire!!!". My questions are these: 1. Can we ascribe what is Holy to destruction? 2. Why then do the believers sing "Holy Ghost fire, fire fall on me"? 3. Does the Holy Ghost do both the destructive work and the constructive work at the same time? Pls I need clarification with Bible reference. |

1. It will raise suspicions during the interview. I recommend you shelve that plan. People with 'virgin' passports have gotten visas. 2. That's good. So what you have to do, is be able to explain what the business entails, in such a way that shows that your presence is needed for the business to succeed and if you are gone, the business will collapse, something like that - but please be honest and be straight to the point. 3. You will not be asked. But if they do, you will probably be scheduled for Administrative processing which is like an opportunity, to bring the documents required to decide your case. The more documents you try to present to the VO, the greater the red flags. 4. That's a valid reason for B1/B2. Know where, why and for how long you will be in the US. Also know one or two sites where you intend to visit, also know how much your ticket would cost to the US and back. Most importantly fill your forms honestly and truthfully. bigmodo: 1. Kind of 2. I am the owner of the business. For three years now. The biz worth about 30 million naira. 3. So I will not be asked about proof of funds like statement of account, business documents, hotel reservation receipts etc 4. To visit. |

You will not need any documents for a B1/B2 Visa interview except your nigerian passport, visa booking receipt and your ds-160 confirmation slip. 4. Why do you want to travel to the US? bigmodo: I want to travel to USA on a visitors visa. Guys, stop lying about your past refusals on your form. And if you think, that filling in that you were refused in the past will cost you, your visa application - you should reconsider applying for that visa, but on the bright side, you might still get the visa because you didn't hide that piece of information. Soon the Canadians won't send you messages asking you, to explain why you lied on your form and it will be straight up denial with no chance to explain. |

1. Has your wife asked you for money, and what were the reasons she asked for money? 2. If she asked you for money, what was your response? 3. Did you feel that the reasons she asked for the money, was serious or trivial? 4. No matter the answers to 1-3. Call her and ask her to tell you the truth, promise to forgive her, regardless but that you just need to know her own side of the story. 5. Don't have sex with her till a month later, take her to the hospital - for HIV/AIDS test and Pregnancy test. 6. If she slept with her boss, ask her to resign the job, as part of the conditions for forgiveness. Ogoh123: Dear NLs, Good day all. I need your immediate advise on an issue. I have been suspecting my wife lately. This is someone I have never suspected since we got married since 2010. We have 2 kids. My wife actually works in one of the government agencies.
I have never suspected my wife but in recent times I'm beginning to doubt my wife. I called to have a conversation with her which she took personal and led to serious fight between us.
The main issue is this. I recently saw a screenmunched picture of whatsapp conversation between my wife and her boss in which my wife was asking for money from her boss and that if he gave her the money she would have sex with him. Just to corroborate this point, I had a laptop that I was not using, recently I logged on to it and I saw my wife's google search on the following: " My regrets after having sex with my boss", "how to relate with my boss after slepping with him"
Fellow Nairalanders, I'm very devastated but I need your advise on how to handle this with her. |
