MikeofKd: Everyone sees life differently I guess. If u don't agree its beneficial , well it's best known to u.
But for me , being old and still paying your children's school fees or what not just cus u had them at an older age isn't so ideal to me. What if you marry at 25 and have your last born at 40. Won't you pay his/her school fees when you are 60. All these pressure your are creating for yourself is not real. They don't give "who first born" trophy. |

MikeofKd: I'm in my late 20s and I've been doing some pretty serious calculations lately and I figured out that birthing your kids as a man in your late 20s is super beneficial but the issue here is the bad Economy that a lot of us face in our late 20s e.g paying lots of bills , settling family members , Etc
When you have a child lets say at age 27 or 28 when your 37 or 38 your child is 10 years , when your 47 or 48 your child is 20 years , now at age 20 your child is almost done with their first degree , which is super beneficial as supposed to having a kid when your 35 or 36 And this age some men aren't even financially secured enough to raise a family considering the Economic situation of the country.
Everyone desires for their kids to take care of them at old age , now imagine you are 60 years and your first child is still 15 years old. That jeopardizing the kid's future. Cause at age 60 your ability to work reduces significantly.
I would so much love to birth my kids now due to the old age thing but Providing for a child in this economy isn't that easy , I mean you want to be able to give them a great education and good life at early stages of their Life which can be very very hard in today's economy.
Nland fathers in the house please how were you guys able to navigate your way past all these money calculations and birth your kids early in your late 20s , please fathers in the house I need your wise counselling on this matter. I don't want to be old before I start having children. Thanks in advance. How is it beneficial? Just say you want to keep woman at home. If you start birthing at. 27, your kids will be in their 20s by the time you are at least 55 and they will leave you. |

The fact that Trump is ready to bring peace to Russia and Korea is enough to bounce world economy back. |

kendraloops: I hope it's okay to apply to just 1 university.
Of all the courses available, only 1 ticked my fancy and that's what I applied to.
Also, I didn't repeat the same application 5 times, I mean, I just filled just 1 slot out of the 5 available slots.
I thought of filling all 5 slots with the same uni and same course but I don't know if that will count as spamming 🫣 The 5 options was meant to increase your chance of getting an admission. Choosing just one is very much okay. |

SUPERBLOOM: Life isn't mostly about what you studied In school. As a matter of fact, there is no law that can stop you from attaining positions if your destiny is attached to that path.
If progress is mostly by education, every teacher should retire as a principal but you know that's impossible. Will you say it's because they are not educated? Bro, read carefully. I'm supporting your point? |

Romance › Re: Why Do Poor People Get Married? by Karleb(m): 3:05am On Jul 01, 2024 |
Getting married is not a problem, the problem is how people are crazy about marriage. You'd see people who are a walking ticking time bomb, rather than working on themselves the only thing they want to do is marry. You are crazy about marriage but you won't disclose your salary to your husband or wife in the marriage. |

tensazangetsu20: Honestly true. Women are very brutal in their younger years. Riding the cock carousel, monkey branching and multiple dating. Why should a man remain single and faithful after he has made it and gotten married. These same wicked women won't even look at you twice when there was nothing. If not for Christianity, na 50 wives I for Marry. Brotherly, women should keep thanking their God for Christianity. Before it, polygamy was the order of the day. Unquestionable! Any man that wants it and is capable should go for it. Fuc.k what anyone says. |

VTJN: taking care of your wife and kids is a responsibility. I am not doing her any favour because it's my responsibility to look after my wife and kids.
Paying your wife bride price and marrying her in the right way is mandatory. I am not doing her any favour with the martial rite.
Not all igbos pay hugely for marriage. It's been done according to your worth/pocket. The issue here is how you guys think taking care of your in-laws or spending huge amount on bride price makes you more responsible than others. When you compare too, you only see irresponsible men from other tribes. As if there are no irresponsible men and women in your own tribe too. |
Celebrities › Re: Chioma's Soup Is Different & Sweet - Davido Tells People At His Wedding by Karleb(m): 1:11pm On Jun 28, 2024 |
VTJN: igbo men are much more committed and responsible in marital affairs than most yoruba men. An average yoruba man actually didn't pay his wife bride price before marriage. The highest you see is just introduction compare to igbo men. An average igbo men knew that if they didn't marry their wives properly the children belongs to her family not his. Yoruba women also made themselves too cheap and readily available to their men reason why they're being treated like nothing. Single mothers are rampant in yoruba because their men are too loose. They easily get them pregnant knowing there won't be any consequences unlike the igbo culture. Igbo don't get pregnant before marriage. It is forbidden. Yoruba also practice polygamous marriage unlike Igbos. They marry more than one woman but ordinarily they can't take care of one woman. It doesn't cost yoruba men anything to throw away his wife load outside because he married her cheaply and he knew he can get another one cheaply. Unlike igbo men. Apart from the fact that igbo men are much more committed and responsible in marital affairs. They will never exhibit such behaviour of throwing their wives out with her properties. They understand what they went through before marrying her.
My advice for yoruba women willing to settle with a yoruba man. Firstly, did the guy love you dearly? Is he educated? At least first degree? Is his parents still together or divorce? Don't marry a poor Muslim guy o!! You go suffer eh! And they believed once they get small money na to replace the first wife. How does his father treat his mother? Avoid Muslim guys if you know you can't share your husband with another woman. I believe a Christian yoruba lady that open her eyes wide open to marry a Muslim guy should know what she has signed for. And for the Muslims ladies that doesn't have a choice but to settle with a Muslim guy. Make sure he's very much educated and well exposed, raised topics pertaining to polygamous and hear his views. Not all Muslims guys like marrying more than a wife though but you cannot guarantee that because it is permitted in their religion reason why it's better to avoid them completely like a plough. Ask yourself, in this whole word, how many tribe require huge amount as a sign of commitment during marriage? The only tribe I know is igbo. Rather than speaking against it so that the practice can be abolished, you are here comparing yourself to a Yoruba man who is thinking of how to raise money to buy beans and enjoy popo garri because of his terrible electoral decision. Paying your in-laws bills doesn't exactly make you a responsible man. There are a lot I could counter here but I see you guys have resigned your faith to serving your wife and in-laws. If I be igbo man, if my wife get belle and the pikin na boy, I go abort am. |
