dkay51: Let's be realistic, I know crying has become a hobby for you guys, but the English FA has delayed the switch process for talents they're still interested in capping, this has been done a couple of times now and should not be surprising to anyone. Did they delay Musiala's switch to Germany? if I remember correctly his switch was less than 2 months. Like I said earlier it is only Nigerian administrative procedures that make a mountain out of a molehill. Musiala in February 2021 decided to switch to Germany the next month in March 2021 he made his debut for Germany. |

Odunayaw: Value! dumdum. His debut goal was so glorious they never called him again!
I knew even if the point was a signboard you'd still miss it. So they process nationality switch faster/slower based on the said player's value? It's like something is seriously wrong with you. Did Shola Ameobi and Victor Moses have the same value when their own took 10 months to process? Defending incompetence to the core has always been a Nigerian thing |

Danielnino00: So you are saying the clearance process work the same way for every player? Nigeria has always has a history of clearing English players late.. Go check how long it took for us to clear Moses, Aina and Iwobi... It took lesser time to clear Akpogunma.
Again, you don't have any proof.. Just speculation.. And you failed to answer why the NFF would be withholding him. What if Lookman himself later come out to validate the NFF claim? won't it make you look foolish? So in your assertion Sierra Leone is more organized that they can process a nationality switch faster than Nigeria for a player that applied the same period with ours? Like I said Lookman has been cleared to play for Nigeria. |

Odunayaw: I'd take it that you're catching cruise because this type of reasoning can only from the intestine.
We have Lookman, a lad who shone for England in u20 and is resurgent in his "adopted" country's EPL and you compare his value to an old man Caulker?! A 30yr old Turkish league player?
You sound like say dem de download Orubebe into you but e stop for 20% So a player's nationality switch is based on age and not application? For your information Caulker also played for the England senior team and scored on his debut. Did it delay his switch to Sierra Leone? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Karlovych: 3:53pm On Dec 30, 2021 |
Danielnino00: No be by mouth... Show us proof that he's been cleared by FIFA.. You seem to forget that some of us thought the switch was already on since 1-2 years ago until a few months ago when he officially made the declaration.
What would the NFF gain by lying about it if I may ask? Is Lookman the second Messi or Neymar? We already discussed it, and statistically, he has never been better than the current wingers we parade, by Musa.. The proof is that Steven Caulker has been cleared to play for Sierra Leone, they both filed for switch to the same English FA in October as Pinnick confirmed that Lookman has started the process to switch at that same period. |

By the way, which stats did Busquets have to get picked ahead of Seydou Keita and Yaya Toure? Hart was the best gk in the championship that season, Is Nwakali the best in Segunda 2 or is Ndah the best in South Africa? Basquests never benched Keita or Toure |

This narrative is very poor and e no enter at all
Stop using club football to justify nonsense
Shey given was even old and won’t keep forever so will surely need a replacement at some point In both cases both Shay Given and Joe Hart had the stats to back up their performances. GoodJoe which stat does Nwakali and Ndah have? They both have less that 30 games combined this season |

ChrisKels: You mean 30year old Stephen Caulker from the almighty Gaziantep, Turkey?
So you think if we decided to go for Sammy Ameobi(same league as Caulker, quality wise) that we can not get him within a week just as we did his brother? Guy be logical by appreciating the word "value" or "usefulness" So the English FA process people's switch quicker if the player is older? Hahahaha. Don't forget Lookman might also pay the customary egunje to Immigration officials to get his passport if he hasn't gotten one already. |

Joezinho: Musa's continous invitation to the NT is nothing short of a travesty, and as much as I appreciate his services to Nigeria, it has to be said that Musa and Ighalo are both very selfish individuals who are benefiting hugely from some political goodwill from top officials they are close to... Because I know deep down, they know they are undeservedly occupying the spots other young, hungry and promising players would have sold a limb to get but just don't get the chance...
I wonder how a player like Dessers would feel knowing that he chose Nigeria over Netherlands, burst his as5 to score goals for Feyenoord, only to have his spot in the NT occupied by done-and-dusted players who offer absolutely nothing to the NT anymore!!
A good chunk of these players were selected based on Nigerian politricks.. There is no justification for leaving out Akpoguma. He deserves to be on the squad. Same goes for the likes of Bassey, Ebuehi, Dessers etc. Is it too much to ask that a Nigerian player be called up based on merit?
God must punish amaju and this stupid Eguaveon. When Musa was without a club, he was still getting called up to the national team. |
