The community in that area sold the land inclusive of the drainage and sand filled it to a higher level so all the water that used to flow into their area is now flowing in the reverse direction.

This is not necessarily a FG problem.

My dear, heard about it when I passed through that area yesterday. They sold the land that was used as a drainage area as per typical Ikwerre community without thinking etc (the usual chop today without plans for tomorrow mentality). Now people are coming here to talk as if the road was done badly. Check it in dry season. Usually so good

If it's plugged in to charge? The red notification light comes on. When it's full? The light goes off. You think it's a software problem huh

Sorry o. Sha bought a Lenovo Vibe P1 eventually. The Homtom is still in its box. Thinking of eventually fixing it through AliExpress when I have time next month. Jumia actually contacted me with a fake gist of returning the phone and getting a refund. The next day I went to drop off the phone? Got a traffic issue with task force guys as I wasn't used to the place. Eventually had to part with 10K only for me to finally get to their office and they said the recall order had expired 6 days prior. Told them I just got a call the day before so how come it had expired. Sha long story short, lost 10K to task force guys then went back home with the phone. Called their customer care number to really give it to them and they apologised and said they'd renew the recall. Never heard from them again

You can call them. If it's under warranty? Then no problem. If it isn't? Then you are like me and better hope samsung doesn't charge an arm and foot to fix it

Went to Lagos Fri and just got back to PH today. Checked with a guy who repairs stuff for me at computer village ikeja. �. Adviced I should just buy a new phone. So thinking of the Tecno K Sparks. Hopefully this week or next. As to whether I'll buy with JUMIA huh

Well I can't lie about that. Actually thought there was a warranty on the phone. Didn't see it in their review though they always feature a warranty section. So with that in mind I bought it. If I had known they weren't going to have warranty? Wouldn't have bought the product

You do realize that jumia is not the one making these phones?

I of cos don't expect them to refund. But they should be able to either meet the seller and swap the phone or give an option of fixing it as per selling products they can vouch can be fixed. As it is? Even checking AliExpress for the parts is proving difficult. So back to my point, I have a phone 1 week of usage that can't be fixed apparently in Nigeria

When u call them before the 7 days then it's in their record, even if it takes 2 weeks for item to be returned it's already in their record that u have made the complain.

And for some products they clearly state that there's no warranty and returns are only accepted for wrong or faulty items. Check the picture below.

Actually, bought the phone from a local seller. Had seen the global sellers and felt a little hesitant but then saw a local seller which means the person is in Lagos or Nigeria at least so felt better

Actually I was going to go for the infinix hot 5 or possible 4. But reviews online both here and out of the country was good for this phone so decided to take the risk. I just didn't expect the phone to crash within 9 days. If it had crashed 2 days or so? Makes sense but it was as if it was planned to spoil just immeadiately after the refund period expired. It's just annoying and sets me back but will go for the inifinx 4 I guess. Just that I can't trust Jumia again.

This is just a post to rant and rave so pardon me. I recently bought a phone from Jumia during this November black Friday. A Homtom HT50. Specs were lovely and reviews both here and abroad were great. So me thinking Jumia was a great place to shop, (note I am a regular buyer from them and have advertised to friends and colleagues how good they are), saw the phone and ordered it. Immeadiately the phone came? I fell in love. Beautiful and sleek.
The problem started on the 8th day after the 7 days return policy expired. The screen went blank and crashed and refused to come on. I already knew the refund period had expired but I expected at least a warranty on the product. Low and behold, apparently the phone comes with no warranty. And they don't list that on the website. It's a Chinese phone so parts might be a bit hard to come by. To contact the seller who is a local? Let's see if there can be a swap?
Now this is where the second problem lies. Jumia has been unhelpful in resolving this. I have emailed them and called several times and the customer care keeps on looking at the problem like its the first time they are hearing about it despite my complaints being on record. They promise to look into it then promptly send me a mail telling me complaint resolved and if I'm happy with the solution.
After a week of me being the one to mostly contact them on an almost daily basis, they finally tell me since there is no warranty? They'll link me up with a service provider but I'll have to pay for the phone repair myself. I agreed based on the fact that the fee shouldn't be too high? Upon locating the service provider in Port Harcourt, I realize it's Carl care under Slots who confirm they don't service that brand of phones.
Since then? Contacting Jumia has been a problem as they don't seem to be interested and I am now stuck with a 33K phone which I've only used for 1 week roughly. The least they could have done is either link me up with the seller, swap the phone with another or at least be sure they have a legitimate service provider before selling such products.
The lesson learnt here with JUMIA is simply, though I will probably still continue to buy with them? I guess their reliability isn't worth s**t. Thank you for listening

Hi. Just got the phone from Jumia and testing it since I still have my 7 days return policy. Has anyone noticed these problems?
1. Occasionally while charging and using, touch screen might go haywire and start going off on its own.
2. Also while charging, screen brightness at times fluctuates just a bit in terms of brightness.
I need an urgent reply so I can see if it's the particular product so I can do a swap for another ht50.

A simple D&C would have solved this matter and f**k what anybody thinks. If they are so self righteous so as to talk against a D&C here? They should then be also able to start helping with the upkeep of this particular baby for life. The girl is young and there is no financial strength to take care of the baby so why bring a poor child into this world to suffer

Had a colleague once whom someone said he got her pregnant though he had never seen the colours of her undies. He didn't deny and his folks were like she should deliver and hand over the baby. After a couple of months? The girl confesses to who was really responsible. My colleague had just been convinient cos he was a bad boy. Main point is Davido could have not had anything to do with the girl and still done a paternity test just to prove it cos let's be honest, he does have the money to do it

You've only in theory dated for 3 months. The last 5 months have been long distance and as such can't be trusted. My advice? Help him if you want to but being realistic? Remove the relationship from your mind so that particular emotion is out. Years of relationship don't survive the long distance part talkless of yours that's only 3 months old.
Not saying you might not settle together later but statistics wise? I kinda doubt it. Move on and help if you want to.
