Christianity EtcRe: Can You Be Good Without GOD?? by katme:
FrenchyL:
Very interesting write up. My answer to that is NO! This is simply because the natural man was born with the Adamic nature which is already corrupt before birth. You need to understand that man is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. The word of God says: that the heart of man is desperately wicked"; this simply means that anyman without a recreated human spirit, which gives him the nature of God, is a ticking time bomb. It is not about how good that person appears to be rather it is in his nature. I believe things from the biblical perspective which is the Truth of God's word. We can go on and on about this but no man can be good without God. Finally, it is not just a God thing but a Jesus Christ thing because until one accepts him as Lord and Savior, life is simply empty and very meaningless.

SportsChelsea FC - Abramovich Rejects Emenalo's Resignation by katme(op): 9:20am On Jun 01, 2013
it seems Micheal Emenalo, the sporting director of Chelsea, is too valuable for Roman Abramovich to let go off even as Jose Mourinho is set to take over at stamford bridge:

Nigeria’s Michael Emenalo has offered to resign from his role as Chelsea’s sporting director to facilitate the return of Jose Mourinho. But it is understood that Emenalo’s proposal was immediately rejected by Roman Abramovich, the owner, who views him as an important adviser and wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge, The Times reports. Emenalo who has at various times served as the club’s international scout and assistant coach is now the Technical Director.

Emenalo’s influence emerged as a potential problem during negotiations to bring Mourinho back as manager, but Abramovich is determined to keep him and is adamant that the pair work together. Mourinho did not demand Emenalo’s removal, but the former Nigeria international is ready to give way for the good of the team.

Behind-the-scenes talks for his expected return to Stamford Bridge have seen Mourinho demand for ‘full control’ rebuffed by Abramovich and his board. They have insisted that the Technical Director must remain in charge of player recruitment. Mourinho has also been told he will have to accept working under Emenalo if he wants to return to Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho raised the hopes and expectations of the Blues fans that he was on his way “home” as he spoke warmly of the enduring “love” from the Chelsea faithful during one of the UEFA Champions League post-match media briefings.

But while the “Special One” and his advisors have been involved in negotiations with the Chelsea hierarchy for months the rejection of the demand for full control has seen the Portuguese checking his option by also looking in the direction of Paris St Germain, who have also held talks with his agent Jorge Mendes and are likely to bend over backwards to offer the 50-year-old a deal he wants. But despite the PSG opportunity Mourinho’s preferred option is to go back to Chelsea where Emenalo is now in charge following changes made in the administration of the London club after the ‘Special One’ left there six years ago. After Mourinho left in 2007 Emenalo took charge of player recruitment and involved in the ongoing negotiations to land Atletico Madrid striker Radomel Falcao and Andre Schuerrle from Bayer Leverkusen.

His ranking in Chelsea may have made him to ignore the Nigeria Football Federation when they tried reaching him for the position of Technical Director for Nigeria in 2010. Emenalo played in the 1994 World Cup with the Super Eagles.

In Nigeria, there are two places, no three, that are always filled with people - Churches, Beer gardens and Banks. And i can tell ya'll high-value commercial transactions take place in these centres. So until the mega churches float an IPO, I will continue to bet on NBL, FBN and GTBank.

In my case, it wasn't until i upgraded to a nokia 2300 b4 i realized my Trium was a disastrous mistake; it kept going off by itself; first, i had to be monitoring it every second of the minute just to be sure it was capable of reading incoming calls - but that meant i was employed full time. second, the calls never came in; talk about work without pay - it fuccking dealt with me! the scars are yet to heal!!!

just like GBYTE pointed out, BBs are not as expensive in other parts of the world as they are in naija. I don't know exactly where dis guy is getting his BB supplies from, but if its from UK or US then he can still make a good margin even if he lets it fly for 35k. they are not really expensive as is displayed here http://edinburgh.gumtree.com/edinburgh/30380_1.html Most of the BBs here go for 30k on the average, still u can get it for less if you make an offer

People, I cannot understand this constant whining about the BBC. Why do you still watch their channel, listen to their radio or go to their website, if you know that they hated you that much? Why not rely on NTA or FRCN website for their unbiased and fantastic journalism?
Without doubt, the BBC is a highly credible and responsive news network, thats why we listen to them. I mean they are so responsive, they answered  about 23,000 complaints from the audience only in the month of April 2010  http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/pdf/summary_apr10.pdf ,  And you should agree wit me that whenever they cross the line from objectivity to bias, then its the responsibility of its audience to call their attention to it ,  A commendable thing nairalanders did by lodging their complaints, ok?
SportsRe: Nairalanders Overcome Biased Online reporting on Nigeria !! by katme: 8:52pm On Jun 02, 2010
@ Tudor, This episode just taught me that it's actually a 'waste of time' to ignore such malicious and negative comments about the people of a country.  you don't seem to understand that it was a legitimate complaint dat nairalanders lodged against the BBC because the report was way out of context , and we won! the part of the report which nairalanders complained about was removed from the BBC website, if any thing, u shd give up to d guys here in nairaland ,

HI ALL,

I HAVE JUST MADE A COMPLAINT TO BBC ON THE COMMENT, I IMPLORE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME, THIS WHOLE NONSENSE HAS TO STOP, ITS BLANTANT AND OPEN RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, PLS DEAR ALL MAKE YOUR COMPLAINTS ON   http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/homepage/, IF U DONT CRY OUT, THOSE IDIOTS WONT STOP.

THANK YOU ALL
Nice one alamsdee! we can express all the displeasure we want on this forum, but it will only be constructive if we let the BBC know of what we feel about their biased, unnecessary and 'out-of-context' comments. i just dropped a complaint too.

It's really great knowing a CFA thread exists on a Nigerian forum. Its really helpful when candidates can discuss and share ideas and tips about the structure of the exams, learning points to focus on e.t.c . I am currently studying for the MSc in Int'l Finance and the CFA qualification was suggested to me by my course advisor. I have registered for the June 2010 level 1 exams. Going forward, I would like to encourage us all to study hard and pray - u can never underestimate the power of the 'divine' elements.

To the level 2 and 3 candidates who have successfully crossed the hurdles to get to where they are, i say Kudos!!! WE LOOK FORWARD TO LEARNING FROM YOUR EXPERIENCES,

CHEERS ALL!

Jatuana,
You have to be sure that you type the URL in small letters and not capital letters.
Secondly, registration costs $200. I paid 35K for my registration, that was what my payment agents charged. What you actually pay depends on your payment agents.
Thirdly, the system works in such a way that everybody gets to qualify for the trtravelerosition as long as you understand the system. The ease and pace with which each member qualifies for the traveler position, depends on the collective effort of the members of your board,  that's the beauty of the program - It's more of team effort, than individual effort.
Fourthly, i'm on my way to making my first million because the system is revolving, you can cycle as many times as you want, depending on how you understand the system. The system is run by a tested and proven software which determines who gets where, and when. It operates with little or no human intervention. What's more? you can view and monitor your progress online, realtime.
If i would stick my neck out for anything on the net, it's this one.
If you have further questions, pls contact me. And if you like, i can send the information manual to your email, i'd love you to study it.

  Best Wishes,

Yes!!! It's actually possible to make a living on-line, legitimately. I was one of the biggest skeptics until i actually started doing it.

I earnestly think that our certificates are doing us a lot of disservice. why? we attach our success and earning potential to them(our certificates). This is not good. Let's wake up.

Right now, I'm thrilled to have a chance to share with you the truly amazing discoveries that I've made which would enable you to live the life you dream about - create wealth, make a fantastic income, enjoy luxury vacations without working like a slave or going to a job you hate.

However, You have to know the basics of how this business works before u can launch your money-making activities.Depending on how much you already know (and have), you can actually begin doing this immediately by clicking this link www, biz/katmeglobal .I will be pleased share some more with you, u only need to be serious about it, REMEMBER, Information is just information, unless you act on it.

Hello guyz,
Though i did not apply with GTB, i share in your feelings of disappointment, the Guys at GTB do not realize what they have missed by not engaging you guyz. I graduated with a 2:1 also (Economics - uniabuja), but what bothers me is the fact that we always have to rely on some unappreciative corporate players to determine our earning potential. I believe we can do better with our "2:1" brains. The truth, guys, is that we need to wake up!!!
With all modesty, i am on my way to earning my first million (and much more). I am not saying this to "break" you guys, the point is we all have the potential to "make it", without having to work like slaves for some corporate guyz who do not appreciate our efforts.
Frankly, i think it's a curse that some of us ever went to university, an even bigger curse is the fact that we tie our success (and earning potential) to our certificates, it's a shame. It's never too late to do right thing though. Information is power, but information is just information unless we act on it.
Wish y'all gud luck, but someone said "every one creates their own gud luck, " what do u think?
