Simple observation of how others(Oldies, that is)communicate, would have saved most of you the embarrassment right now. Some of you don't even know how to react to jokes, or when a poster uses sarcasm or pun. Instead, you join the bandwagon of things you know little or nothing about. The secret to having a blissful time here lies on your OBSERVATORY SKILLS not your First To Comment skills or hauling insults skills.

Good day bro, to the best of my knowledge, ODUA sent letters to our schools(so they said), and the info you seek should be there. I would advice you go to the DSA to kinda put some pressure on them, to act fast on whatever it is ODUA wants.

Angelstartups: Stock-picking is a high-risk investment vehicle that should be held for long term purpose and that means 3-5 years or even more.
For an amateur that wants to play in that space this is my advice:
1)never buy shares because you have loose cash
2)never buy shares because others are doing that
3)Select industries you love to invest in and narrow down the companies under these industries that have proven track record of consistent growth, earnings and profit over a long period say 10-30 years. Calculate growth using CAGR formula.
4)Focus only on a few solid stocks,don't over diversify.
5)Study these companies by looking at their financials,business model and valuation. Pick the Quality ones.A simple valuation could be NAV=Net Asset/Outstanding Shares to give you the Book Value per share. There is also the multiples ratio valuation.
6)Buy only when you have done your analysis and sure the companies are growth stocks that are underpriced.

Aks: To buy, U must do due diligence on stocks performance history, know the company, do research, seek expert opinions (BGL, PROSHARE, Renaissance etc analysis on stocks), to EXIT, have an exit plan @ d point of purchase I.e min profit margin % to make but this might change by cautiously checking the trade pattern vis daily stock trade schedule by focusing on d demand and supply levels (is stock on bid). Overall, majority of stocks buy nowadays are sentimental in nature and a sort of guidance is joining a forum like this platform on nairaland and as I and others have said b4, most suggestions by stock trading house are mostly on d wrong side, make ur decisions and stand by it

Aks: Investment in stock has its' risk factors just like any other business but as an investor, you should know ur risk apetite cos u are the MD of your portfolio but of most importance is the TIME to BUY and appropriate TIME to EXIT
