The SS/SE can make ObiDatti become a reality in 2023 if they give them bloc votes next year.
LP will be the only party with bloc votes from two regions next year.
APC SW and Northern bloc votes of 2015 can't work again cos LP is etching into SW votes while PDP is damaging them in the North.
If LP also takes some NC states (e.g plateau, Benue, Nasarawa plus FCT), ObiDatti is a done deal! |

Politics › Re: EXCLUSIVE: Tinubu Whatsapp Group Identifies Names Of Nairalanders To Be Banned by kay1one(m): 8:39am On Aug 20, 2022 |
NGsultan: A WhatsApp group, where some evil supporters of Tinubu converge on to cook up their nefarious schemes has identified names of people on various social media platforms to be frustrated or outright banned.
Targeting Nairaland, the group members bragged about having 'an eye' in the moderation department. They complained bitterly about 'Igbos taking over Ọmọlúàbí's forum' and 'frustrating BATists'. They deliberated at length on how best to 'silence' the opposition and came up with the following:
1. That certain Nairalanders be targeted and banned repeatedly until they get frustrated and 'quit'.
2. That threads capable of dampening the morals of their supporters should be locked or at best ignored at the 'back page'. While on this point, a member asked 'what if an idiot like APCNGN creates a thread asking other mods to feature it on front page?' They deliberated and concluded on point 3.
3. That headlines capable of dampening the morals of supporters should be changed. Example, if the title reads 'Northern Imams or Imams from the North', it should be edited to just 'Islamic clerics'. In short, any title that has 'North' with a damaging effect be changed to something 'obscure'.
4. That members monitor trends. When there are pieces of news that are damning to Asiwaju's ambition, members must act immediately with their alternate accounts. Create a fake version, share it. When unsuspecting opponents fall for it and begin resharing/retweeting, debunk it and get the opponents' accounts banned for 'spreading false information' while the genuine information be 'discarded'
5. That members should create 'Hausa' monikers and use them to support Asiwaju.
6. That members should create fake news on Twitter, share on Nairaland and moved to front page. 'If it's debunked, fine, nothing spoil. If it's not, great, all good!'
7. That fake news be created and ascribed to Obi. Then debunk it later using 'fact check'
8. That Nairalanders that are 'a pain in the arse' be targeted and frustrated out before campaign. Some of the Nairalanders targeted are:
. APCNGN . Anambra1stSin . PaChukudi44. . Satanically666 . AdolfAboki. . NaijaRoyalty. . Penguin2. . PinkPUSSY. . ChangetheChange . Truthisunique2 . And many others.
Another platform they targeted is Twitter, but the plan is different. They're still deliberating on how best to silence tweeters like @firstladyship, @Chude_, @UchePOkoye, etc.
If your moniker is mentioned here, you should start walking on eggshells to avoid being targeted. |

The truth is your support base in highly concentrated in your South east therefore you can't influence other region. That's something already cos as of 3 months ago it wasn't that way. Tinubu's votes suffering on all fronts: in the North, PDP is taking it. In the SW, LP is itching in. They never had anything in the first place in SS/SE.
All LP needs to do now is scrape votes from NC and SW and they could be on the trajectory for victory.

Politics › Re: Can Peter Obi Garner OVERWHELMING MAJORITY In SS/SE by kay1one(m): 4:54pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
Ylink4sure: Your analysis is fair enough. PO will win SE by a landslide, he'll share SS votes almost equally with PDP, he'll get appreciable number of votes in the SW though Tinubu will have the majority.
Bro,don't build castles in the air,Obi will not get more than 25% of votes in North Central! Not with all the Political Office holders belonging to APC and PDP!
You are banking on the religious factor, you are politically wrong!,it is only SE and SS folks living in this area that will vote PO!
PO will get less than 10% of votes in NE and NW, dooming his presidential aspirations. Perhaps most importantly, every vote for PO is a minus for PDP as all his votes are traditionally PDPs and is actually a plus for APC particularly in the SE and SS.PO is the reason Tinubu is your next president.
Note this, after the election when PO and Atiku's votes are tallied together,it will be more than that of Tinubu. In essence,if Obi had been patient and work again with Atiku, they would have won the presidency.
See,PDPs strategist know that they have a big problem! They realise that PO popularity is more of a problem for them than APC! While PO supporters are viciously attacking APC they don't realize PO is a blessing for Tinubu. In fact PDP votes is divided into four: Atiku,Peter Obi,Kwakwanso and the Wike faction! I like your analysis: intelligent and mature. I have no doubt Tinubu still has an upper hand but PO and Atiku are eating into that daily. Tinubu will lose the North and his votes will be halved in the SW. Atiku's votes are not increasing anywhere in the south. This has made it a two man race: Tinubu and Obi. If PO keeps eating into SW votes and Atiku in Northern votes, APC will lose to the party that is spreading into the SW, LP. However, LP still has a lot of work and prayers to do. As an addendum, I was initially upset with PO for leaving PDP. I wanted him to try to work something out with them and remove APC first. Right now however, I'm shocked at the amount of traction he has gained without "giving shi-shi". I dare to say that he hasn't plateaued yet. As for North Central, please remember the states there: Benue, Nasarawa, plateau, kwara, Niger, Kogi. LP already has good traction in the first 3. Add FCT to it and NC can be flipped LP. |
Politics › Voting APC Again Is Like Going Back To An Abusive Spouse by kay1one(op): 4:45pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
We all know how the story goes. Very sadly, our sister Osinachi Nwachukwu is a typical example. We hear excuses such as "he's not really a bad person", "he will change when we get married/over time", "he was just angry and lost his temper", "I know he loves me, it's just stress that is causing it".
Despite all these excuses, the individual keeps coming to work or any gathering with a black eye or physical injuries which are no doubt inflicted by the spouse/partner.
In worst case scenarios, it leads to death of the victim.
The question now begs, why didn't the victim leave the union earlier? Fear, insecurity, false hope?
Whatever be the case, this is what any APC voter in this upcoming election is doing.
APC has riddled the economy with bullet holes. I put it to you: your life is not better now than it was in 2015 or 2019!
So why would any one still want to vote for the same party that has reeked so much havoc to the nation?
If this were a developed nation like US or UK, a party than mismanaged things this bad won't even dare be on the ballot in the next election season.
So why is it different in Nigeria? Why does APC have the guts to come out and some youths (the ones that will be most affected by their leadership) are still chanting their support?
I see two major reasons here: 1. Mediocrity: as a populace, we've become used to crap and take it with a smile on our face. Boris Johnson, UK outgoing prime minister, resigned on allegations he employed someone with a sexual harassment charge against him. Most of his cabinet resigned and he had to follow suit. If the amount of crap done in this country is done to the citizens of a developed country, they would have had a revolution long ago. In Nigeria however, we make memes and sweep it under the carpet. APC has given us crap. Reelecting them is a slap on our face and intelligence.
2. Ethnicity and religion: in this current case, most APC supporters are doing so based on ethnicity (it's our turn). In as much as I don't have a problem with that, why not give us someone credible. Osibanjo was a viable candidate. Akinwunmi Adesina (current president African development Bank) would even cut it. Why give us a corrupt, part-of-the-system Tinubu? This is the same man that shoved Buhari down our throats in 2015 as a solution to Nigeria's problems. We all see how that went. Why should we trust him again? This ethnicity and religion card is what has kept the whole of Africa backward. It is a shame that in 2022, the internet 5G age, we still think like cavemen.
The major reason many people don't want Peter Obi is because he's Igbo.
I dare to say that he's the best that region can produce for now. Igbos wouldn't have given Okorocha or Emefiele same kind of support Obi is getting now which goes to show they are more interested in competence than ethnicity.
As business men, they've felt, in no small way, the negative brunt of this administration and simply want to get it right this time.
So if you're still thinking of voting the same party that put Nigeria in this mess, ask yourself how you react when you hear about people who go back to their abusive relationships despite many warnings.
Let's change the structure!

In some parts of the east, saying you're not obidient is like saying you're a Boko Haram member...
You don turn suspect be that!
The only battleground he'll have is in SS in Delta State (okowa is running as VP with Atiku) and Rivers State if Wike doesn't throw his weight behind him.
That won't stop him tho. I know a PDP delegate who's straight up Obi for president but remains PDP in state.
As it stands: Obi is taking SE and SS (please is it Tinubu or Atiku that will win there? I'm resident there currently), steal some SW votes and some North Central votes. That's equivalent to two regions which one needs to win to be president.
Tinubu can still take SW but he can't replicate 2015 by taking North; Atiku taking North E/W. Nothing for Atiku in the whole South sef. |
