I'm also shocked the number of people that enjoyed and anticipating this MID.

To be fair, the story and characterization may be mid but the execution is close to peak

I'm actually realizing that Solo Leveling might be more popular than I've perceived it to be

See that number one. Anytime I remember superhero fatigue agenda, laugh wan kill me

Hohenheim:
I thought one piece went on a break?

They are but I'm not caught up on the anime.

Btw how good is Blue lock? I'm trying to start something new

I really don't know how to describe Blue Lock convincingly to someone who hasn't seen it, especially with current reactions to it. All I'll say is that it's currently one of my most favorite anime and I enjoy almost every episode.

yasolan:
Which anime are you guys watching 😪

Still watching

Even Dominic thinks what they did was vile 😭😭😭

You know it's bad when Dirty Dom thinks you did your bro dirty

samistry:
It only took one match with Mercedes Mone(fka sasha banks) for wwe to steal her from AEW where she was bound to be signed. That speaks volume about her in ring ability. She get body and talent.
Women like Charlotte and Ronda Rousey have even posed completely nude for magazine while Stephanie vaquer hasn't.
Meanwhile, Serena deeb and Deona Purrrazo who are no nonsense pure technical wrestlers are floundering in AEW women's division due to lack of charisma
Britt Baker even taunted Deeb that no one cares about her. Where is the lie?
Wrestling business is a looks and ability business. Why do you think male wrestlers are in good shape, have six packs, wet their hair and oil their bodies before their matches?
They should all cover up in wrestling singlets so as not to offend us
Why are there more physically good looking wrestlers with Greek god physiques than Kevin Owens 'shoot fighter' physique?.

Preach!!

abduleez1:
Probably Matt Damon will play Odysseus.

Well, the Illiad is a popular poem and I believe many people watched the TROY and THE ODYSSEY movies. So it's still fresh.

I have a feeling it'll be Robert Pattinson. He spends over 10 years trying to get back home so I feel Pattinson is the best option to play Odysseus from young-ish to middle age when he finally gets home

Illusioneffect:

abduleez1:
Chris Nolan is breaking the internet with this!!

I've been waiting for ages for Hollywood to get back to Greek Mythos for long and Nolan just gave us a new push into the next decade. ✌🏽

We've been flooded by Norse mythology this past decade till now in TV and film. Roman Empire is back on the menu with Gladiator II, but my itch has been basically Greek which has seemingly been forgotten before now.

So grateful and joyful for Nolan spearheading this fresh push. Agba for life.

You guys are talking about the men but thinking about who plays what on the women's side just made me realize how unimpressed I am by Zendaya.
I can't even figure a principal role I think she could pull off while I can't think of almost any character Anne Hathaway or Lupita couldn't do justice to.
Make them sha no give her Athena or Penelope. E go too pain me if she come give that her signature wooden performance

Achilles100:
DandaDan Season 2 confirmed July 2025.

Leaving us with that cliffhanger for 6 months is diabolical

IbrahimMav:
Zack Snyder is a hack who got lucky with 'Dawn of the Dead' and has been riding on that high since. Thank the stars WB fired him when they did for he would have done an irreparably damage to the Superman lore. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Snyder fans are a curious bunch. I often wonder what they see in that hack that warrants such hardcore loyalty?

Superman trailer soo good, Mav came out of hibernation

MHA: Vigilantes is getting an anime adaptation.

BlackManta:

And they all went on to become massive hits. The odds are looking good come July.

oyaskii:
lol the context of ZS walking away post prod and reshoot doesn't matter? Cuz we all saw the finished product in 2021 with basically the same story and it was stellar.

We probably need to have this convo now, what exactly didn't you like about JL (2017)? 🤔....The story? The performance? or the technicalities like the weird CGI that was going on?.

The story. Cyborg and Flash's introductions, as well as, the team up was rushed. Same as Supes rejoining the team after the fight at his revival. Steppenwolf's motivation wasn't particularly compelling. He was just another "take over the world" villain.
Full disclosure, them initially releasing a trailer that featured scenes before the 2017 cut was another issue of mine, as it left a lot of questions unanswered.

I have no problems with the performances. They were the same as in ZSJL, just following a different script.

I don't remember having much problems with the CGI at the time. There were some flaws, sure, but not really anything that put me off or stuck out for the wrong reasons.

So, yeah, mostly the story.

oyaskii:
lol the grim dark Superman narrative is such a shallow argument i have always come across to bash ZS "Superman"....All he humanity, saving people and all was all there in "Man of Steel" (2013), as for darker and bleak overtones of Bvs (2016) and JL (2017), it fits the narrative Zack Snyder was trying to tell, not every time hope and saving people...ZS wanted to present a side of Superman as a conflicted grounded character in a morally bankrupt world, and we probably needed to see that side of Supes, and imo it's totally justified in ZS creative vision for the character.

I had my issues with Bvs (2016), but Man of Steel (2013), Bvs (2016), JL (2017) and ZSJL (2021) weren't bad films by any stretch of the imagination.... misunderstood maybe.

JL (2017) was bad, please. There's no defending that movie

need the security before you go come beat am

I'm ready. Let's have it, Mr James Gunn.

abduleez1:
You might be unto something bro.

Cos this boy actually creates or draws the draft game himself. Anything like games he's good but his academics is surprising.
Loves games and obsessed with cartoons.
Like you said I think his attention span is the problem, dude can't stay put in one place unless it's cartoons or games. It's like you're caging him.
I have rarely seen him reading on his own without it being an homework. I hardly see him do homework sef, but I can remember seeing his other siblings being different.
Academically, he's the weakest in the family but I do know he's actually smart based on games and other behavioural patterns.

Thinks he lacks motivation unless forced to.

His parents should try gamifying his schoolwork, using the cartoons and games he likes as a reward. His academics will definitely see an improvement.

abduleez1:
Bruh these kids brain development in relation to tech and devices is too sharp and way ahead of our time. They're very tech adaptive.

The eldest boy na olodo in my books based on my intelligence in academics while his age but anything relating to games, devices, phone and this dude floors me. Too smart on those things. I changed my phone pattern password tire till I got tired and started hiding my expl!cit files then totally stopped making my phone readily available to have a chance of even operating it.
That kid gave me nightmares when he was with my phone. I go dey pray make the P£st no see my Bella Bellz and Ava Adams collection.

Make 10yrs old pikin dey beat me conveniently for draft game. 😤 I need to be ultra calculative and slow to be able to beat him. Play fast paced and I'm losing 90% of the time.
The kid is too good with strategy and patterns.

Don't underestimate kids!! They are smarter than our time.

You might actually have a neurodivergent genius on your hands. If he's proficient at draft but failing at school, it's most likely because he finds it difficult to pay attention during classes due to a lack of motivation. If possible, gamify his school work and he'd most likely stary doing better.

abduleez1:
If it was only The Wild Robot he was repeating I wouldn't mind. Every time I see it, it still looks fresh and pristine in my eyes. Top tier movie and animation.
But that Lightyear pisses me off. Something wey I don download for 2 yrs now. Him watching it now has confirmed I'm not watching it myself no more.

But TROLLS World Tour ?? you dey suffer oo Lord knows say I go find way delete that thing.

Children of these days are smart as fvvk oo. These ones can operate anything digital with ease especially if it's pictorial.
They gave me a shocker last week. Brand new smart TV and I bought flash for them and put a couple movies, only that day I navigated the menu.
Me was thinking it'll take them about 3 days or so to fully understand the process cos it had many steps to get to where the films was cos the new TV menu is quite very different from the what they used to.... Came back from work the next day to see them operating and changing films at will. I begin dey doubt whether while I was at his age I could be this smart.

The only reason dem never get mind operate my laptop na cos dem know say I go kill dem and majorly use it for work. Rarely watch stuff on it even tho the screen is pretty good and they know tons of movies and TV shows are in it. I'm in the mood for generosity if dem see my laptop take watch film.

Bro, I was in primary 5 and 9 years before I could do basic operations on a PC. These kids are 4 years old moving casually from folder to folder. Wahala dey ooo

GloriousGbola:
It is time for you to start passwording your device.

Before they stumble on your homework folder or shortcuts to Chloe Bailey uncut

If they can find the homework folder, I'd meet a traditionalist to know which of my ancestors came back.

I'm a Ryan Destiny man. I like my chocolate DARK.

abduleez1:
Omo..... I wouldn't really even care much if not for this tërrorist of a kid who has been repeating LIGHTYEAR & THE WILD ROBOT back to back for 4 days now once he's in control of the remote.

This little fvvker repeated Shaolin Soccer on loop about two years ago more than 120 times for weeks. I almost lost my mind seeing him watching it all the time. This boy repeat that film so tey the disc begin crack sef for the DVD. Cos I bought that film disc many years ago while I was still a kid and about to enter secondary school. Don't understand his obsession and fixation with that particular movie.

You get luck. Na Shaolin Soccer and The Wild Robot dem they repeat for you. That year na Trolls: World Tour and Coco them wan use finish me. They eventually learnt how to play videos on laptop. Children ingenuity come fear me

pu7pl3:
Leave that nigga, make him dey play Chaffeur for my babe.
Thunder go soon fire am😤

2 Port Hacourt first sons gunning for Chloe. Which son will cum first?

abduleez1:
Lmfao.... Na my phone you steal this picture??

Sent my former banny this same picture some months back saying "Me and You soon"....

Na "dey play" be the reply wey I receive. 😭

By former banny, do you mean Ana de Armas or Lolade? 😌

samistry:
This one dn crze finish chloe ko, chlorine ni?

Kevin Owens and Pu7pl3, 2 people you can believe their words die.

BlackManta:
Matt Reeves is producing this movie and it will release a month before his Batman Part 2.

Matt Reeves is getting more involved with DC than I thought he would be, I didn't expect to see him producing Batman related DCU projects.

This is a wild prediction but I see the Reevsverse merging with the DCU in the future.

Think about it.

We have not heard anything about DCU Batman. Right now it seems likely that DCU Batman will never see the light of day. I feel like Robert will be only Batman moving forward.

And honestly I don't see any problem with that.

I honestly don't see how they can merge the Reeves verse with the supernatural elements of the DCU

Achilles100:

oyaskii:
"El bomba" 😬😬💣

They are saying this is in an unholy trilogy with Morbius (2022) and Madame Web (2024).

Uncanny, all 3 are from the stables of Marvel... This level of consistent "el bomba supremacy" is unmatched uno....grime and nasty stuff 😬😩

Will be adding el bomba and el bomba supremacy to my vocabulary henceforth.
