Well when i first read it, i thought it will be just some girl-power feminist bullshït but i was very wrong, the plot, dialogue, world building, character development and everything was so perfect that even the readers will feel like they are part of the story. I will absolutely recommend it to anyone, Tom King cooked there ah swear 😁



As for Rob, anything other than beautiful and captivating cinematography will be unacceptable.

Seven years ago today, one of the greatest shows ever premiered ✨. I had the chance to do a rewatch this year because it is one of the very few I can sit through a rewatch for, and I was still fascinated by how intricate and compelling it was. A template show on fate, free will, and the brutal, cyclical nature of time.

To put it simply: Hall of Fame TV... blindly good. 💫

I’ve always talked about how a good motion picture score or soundtrack can elevate the overall experience to an entirely new level. I genuinely appreciate when this aspect of filmmaking is done right.

I finally had time to rinse the Arcane S2 OST, and I have to say, "這樣很好 (Isha’s Song)" by Eason Chan is absolutely the one. Thinking back on that scene, I’d argue that the main reason it resonated so deeply with viewers was largely because of this song.

If you don’t vibe with film or show music, you're missing out as this is an all timer, with some real heavy hitters on there. Honestly, I haven’t come across one this good since Ludwig Göransson cooked with "Oppie" last year.

This is definitely going into my rotation for the foreseeable future. Just incredible stuff. 👌🏿

They kept dropping hit after hit with each act but they could never top this one for me.

Most anticipated movie is obviously Superman cos that'll be the major landmark of the franchise's beginning. It's the one that'll shape how the franchise is viewed for the first few years.

Most anticipated series is Lanterns. Cos I've been dying for a proper Green Lantern adaptation that doesn't just focus on the Earth Lanterns and Sinestro. I'd like to see Arisia and Tomar Re get some love

Man, Ambessa must probably be the greatest warrior of her clan, cos her fighting skills is so so elite for her age. That fight scene between her and Mel and Caitlyn is so top tier it's my fave fight of the season.
This season showed the reason why messing with the Arcane is greatly forbidden and its consequences playing with what you don't understand. Top tier ending. What an incredible journey.

Nah! Darrius is most definitely stronger than her.

I spent a good portion of this season wondering how they were going to successfully wrap this story up, but when episode 8 ended, my worries had been put to rest, leaving me to coast peacefully into the final episode.

Christian Linke and Alex Yee really put extra effort in the kitchen to cook for this season. From the development of old characters to the introduction of new characters to the intertwining stories to the dialogue to the progression of the plot. They did an absolutely amazing job. It's obvious in some parts that they had to leave some stuff out to wrap it up this season which is why I'm taking 0.2 off what should be a solid 10.

Kudos as well to the visual and audio teams for the storyboarding, designs and animations, as well as, the music for this season. The final package really justified the 3-year wait.

The central themes of love, loss and evolution carry into this season continuing to shape the decisions of the major characters and massively influencing their journey and their world at large.

Ambessa really was a worthy replacement for Silco as this season's major antagonist. With her characterization and Ellen Thomas' voice acting, it's not surprising she's become a fan favorite.

The introduction of Isha to aid in turning Jinx into a sympathetic character was a nice touch. And I really loved her character. I'd fund and watch a spin-off series featuring her.

Viktor was my standout character of the season. From his resurrection to his Jesus arc to his Glorious Evolution, he had my undivided attention everytime he was on screen.

Jayce has always been one of my favorite characters since the first season and his development is one of my most impressive parts of the show. Watching the resolution of his character's journey remembering where it started it from impresses me even more than it did in the first season.

Ekko remained a scene stealer to the very end. Still got minimal screen, still stole the show in every scene he was in.

Sevika is essentially the one character I have griped with them in the final arc. 3 episodes, 2 hours and 10 minutes and they didn't even give her a single line. Her role as the defacto leader of Zaun got relegated to the background and was only addressed in a few short scenes. Didn't sit well with me.

I'm absolutely still glad I can still count this as one of the best shows of all time. Had me worried for a bit there that it might suffer a similar fate to Pantheon but I guess I should never have doubted the showrunners. Really wish I could've spent more time in this world with these characters but I'd rather it end here than drag on and fall off.

My boy sacrificed a universe where he had everything to come back and save his people. He really is The Boy Saviour

That last shot of him sitting alone overlooking the city had me really sad for him

Finally finished peak. Still can't believe one of the best shows of the decade just wrapped up. I need to process this

Tomorrow...

I'm still not ready for peak to end 😔
