Jack Ryan season 4 just dropped and I never even watch season 3. On the same week with The Witcher and Warrior. These people wan choke me with premium content.
Nice revenge story, good score, unique storytelling style. Nevertheless, still noticed how the fight scenes look cartoonish, especially the bloody scenes. Blood just dey gush out anyhow like tap like say na comic strip dem dey. I understand the limitations they had with the times then, but it looks funny. 😂
Lucy Liu's eyes just seem weird in this. It's as if she's wearing a facial mask with the eyes stuck in one direction. 🤔
It wasn't due to limitations. It was deliberate. Tarantino used 450 gallons of fake blood for the bleeding scenes. He was looking to replicate 70s Hollywood movies and Chinese cinema
kendrick93: Secret invasion e2: After the somewhat disappointing ep1, its really nice to see the series picking up pace. Finally, this is what got me hyped after seeing the trailers.. Loved that whole scene of Nick fury and Rhodes table talk
Ami Koshimizu and Jun Fukuyama reprising their roles as Holo and Lawrence after a decade and half in the Spice and Wolf remake is something I didn't know I needed but I'm overjoyed that we got.
majesticguy: This does feel like a money laundry scheme to me. Production cost is almost $300 million, we ain't even talking about marketing cost, which might be at least up to $30 million.
Studio has a lot to explain, concerning the $300 million plus budget expended on this movie. Even transformers rise of the beast with all the VFX effects and CGI didn't gulp this much. Asides Harrison Ford, I didn't see any other well-known cast there that would have gulped part of that money. This just doesn't add up, something is definitely amiss here.
And for the records, it's definitely a box office bomb, there's no two ways about that.
There's Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas there too. Banderas might not be much of a draw anymore but Mads is and Ford will probably still want to negotiate a higher fee than Mads on basis of being the lead and face of the franchise. Besides, the Indiana Jones movies feature a pretty good number of special effects scenes. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull cost $185m in 2008. $300m for Indy 5 isn't really that farfetched.
abduleez1: Honestly if DC fail to capture any young star from HBO's House of The Dragon I fit swear for WB and DC Studios. 😭😭
Those two ladies, Milly Alcock and Emily Carey are going places. The entire cast is just too sweet not to capitalise on. I liked what WB did with Pedro Pascal, same can be replicated with him starring in GOT, The Last of Us and WW84.
Matt Smith is right there. Multiple roles the guy can fit into. If they fumble him eh, better thunder
Why do animes change their theme song and end credit song halfway through the season?
I dont understand it.
Can anyone recommend a series like Hell's Paradise: jigokuraku?
The most clear cut reason is to denote a new cour or arc.
But there's also been speculations that it's a marketing ploy to appeal to the different music tastes of the viewers and increase the odds of them buying the soundtrack album.
Brokeloser: By the way is anybody watching "AO NO ORCHESTRA".I haven't seen any post about it on fb or twitter.
Watched the first episode. Looked like a nice high school musical drama, possibly with some romance. Sadly I already had too much anime on my plate by then
CoolUsername: WTF, Nimona got a Netflix movie It was written by Noelle Stevenson who eventually became the showrunner of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
This is actually insane, I read this webcomic like 10 years ago back in my webcomic phase. It wasn't great or anything—in fact, it kind a sucked. However, the thing is, webcomics are an extremely niche medium. To see one as a fully-animated mainstream product still blows my mind regardless of quality.
Damn, if the door to webcomic adaptations is finally open. Stuff like: Gunnerkrigg Court, Kill Six Billion Demons, Unsounded, Devil's Candy, and Ava's Demon suddenly look very promising to me.
I'm probably the only who even cares about this. God, why did I have to be such a fxcking nerd back in school?😭
"Back in school", he said as if he's still not just as nerdy to this day
