Lol, they can't stop it. All copyrights ends maximum in 95yrs. Disney really fought tooth and nail to keep Mickey in 76 and 98— winning extensions; but it seems they've accepted their fate on this. They inadvertently also extended copyrights for other titles.
Disney's earliest version of Mickey is entering public domain next year.
Just like Winnie The Pooh entered last year. If you look closely, it's the earlier version of Pooh we're seeing. Not Pooh with the Red shirt and other colored features and big ears.

There's just as few legalities in it, but you can use the earliest version as you like. Just that colored Mickey with the gloves, red and white shirt won't be available soon. It'd still expire at different stages in the future.

Snow White and the 7 Dwarves joins public domain in 15yrs or so.
This is what you see with Frankenstein, Dracula, Dorian Gray, Robin Good, Sherlock Holmes etc. Note there are different types of Sherlock and Dracula from different production companies.

I just dey pray make DC get their shït together on time and cash out before Batman and Supes hit PD in the next 12yrs. It'd be funny tho seeing Batman fighting with Guns and killing villains aplenty cos, they are only limited to the earliest version. As well as Superman jumping from one building to another instead of flying.

So in the next 12 years, Jude OC can finally release a Superman/Batman sapa movie 😂😂
Can't wait.

Also, hope to be alive and see WB's take on Mickey Mouse and Disney's take on Bugs Bunny when that one also reaches PD

-Imatry nottaloos
-Perv asshat
-Po tato
-Mundane Mann
-Golden goldy the ever victorious with his aba-made power rankings dragging his huge L everywhere he goes.
-Not forgetting the secret technique crack and sneeze
This arc is just comedy gold.

😂😂 Annerose never know what's going on. Can't wait for their fight next episode.

abduleez1:
Lol, yep. You no see the trailer since last year.
It's now a public character, so anyone can adapt him now. Just like how Netflix could get their hands on Pinocchio.
I think another big Disney character is entering public domain too. Can't remember if it's Mickey Mouse or another.

No way Disney's letting Mickey into public domain, even if them declare bankruptcy

That's some in-depth background search right here

Meksbig:
Loving this bunshin festival arc [eminence in shadow]. Just the character names alone make it so interesting

The pun names are killing me too. 😂😂
Didn't even figure out the one in the last pic until I was going through the Reddit discussion thread

Bruh, that lady tall die. This Freidis height no freak me at all as I don see Gunhild. She come over fine die. Bruh, her beauty na die. Get nice bossoms and veritable nice @ss again.

I feel like rewatching Vikings again.

All this praise and no picture attached for the culture. This is not the kind of behaviour we want this year.

The only reason why I'll be watching Mayfair Witches

Wonder how the new season looks like. Have been too too busy.

Stacked to the roof. I beat my former seasonal anime count record this season, and that's excluding the double cour shows from last season.

IbrahimMav:
Shazam 2 will be released in China.

Looks like China's open for business again.

Him get luck na... If it were the good old days of this thread, him no fit try the rubbish wey him dey try now. Na him go use him leg waka comot las las.

You remember that time wey more than half of the thread regulars go chop ban like say tomorrow no dey. That time, every weekend na Vawulence holiday. You just be at your best behaviour those days cos you fit collect stray bullet from any angle.

Back then, the countless ban he would have received nobody go tell am to rest. Ask Hulk616 that one go give am testimony. Dude was getting bans of 20yrs+ on different accounts. Nobody tell am to humble.

You go open thread dey see 75% redacted posts with only a handful of posts for like 2 pages. Them days were bloody

abduleez1:
Nani post hentai for anime thread, him waka go series thread and movie threads doing exactly the same thing?
Kaycee post hentai for series thread? You dey hallucinate abi wetin. How many times does he post anime on the thread unlike you that will spam a whole page with the same content back to back.
It's your actions that's why some people at the series threads feel anime and animation should go to a seperate thread.
Writerng no normal and ppl regularly bash him so I no get time for that. Still, how many times do one sees his post in comparison to you that will post full scrap and continuous spamming of threads.

I dey wonder whether you dey reason some things wey you dey talk at times, cos your reasoning get k-leg.
You do it always, did I chastise you then.
But because you no use your head and brought it to a movie thread that's not in anyway related to AOT that's why I'm responding.

It's actually possible. This isn't the first time man has dropped some okoto that never happened. Half of his arguments is usually him projecting on the other party after all.
Also it seems his people aren't back from the village. The attention seeking has been on another level. Dude's probably overjoyed that you guys finally responded.

Carnival Row S2 drops next month. They don arrange this one for match. Be like person no go rest this year

Kicking off the 2023 series run with The Last of Us. Pretty good pilot episode. Loved the talk show at the beginning.

Make them bring am come back sef I don mostly forget wetin sup for the Shrek movies sef. Na when I still be kid I watch them last.

At this point of Hollywood IP mining, it's sooner or later before Universal resurrect am back.

Funny how many thought the movie was a flop at the box office only for it to do a roundabout turn after great word of mouth. Underscores the importance of WOM in BO these days.

Damn, I'm just finding out Puss in Boots actually is a sequel. I never knew it had a 2011 movie. No wonder it had a subtitle.

To be honest, I wasn't really too keen on even adding the movie to my list until you posted that top 10 animation rankings and I saw it there. That was when I knew I probably shouldn't sleep on it.

Watched the first one years back. Guessed from discussions on the movie that, apart from Kitty Softpaws, there wasn't much spillover from it.

abduleez1:
Lol, walahi. I open mouth as I hear am.
I dey think say I go hear origin villain story but wetin I hear shock me. Na premium mad man.

That scene sound funny and be like say e dey yab some super rich ppl. I no go surprise of na one of these billionaires e dey target or Trump.

Or even Elon, everyone's current favorite punching bag

We all know this is hinting at a Shrek 5, right?

armadeo:
I loved his character. He was the main bad guy to me. Every goldi and the 3 bears where lovely.

Been a while I enjoyed a movie like this.

Last time I remember Dreamworks having a villain this good bad was Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2. An all round delightfully evil personality.

Yeah, Goldie and the 3 bears arc was beautiful.

abduleez1:
My favourite quote from that movie is this

What was your childhood like??

Uhh, you know I never had much as a kid.
Just loving parents and stability and a mansion. and a thriving baked goods enterprise for me to inherit. Useless crap like that.

LMFAO, the fvvk you kidding me?

Imagine complaining about soft life. Jack Horner na big werey

Achilles100:
The anime is clean. I don't know how to describe the graphics, but its clean(that's the only word that is coming to my head).

I like it. Just finished episode 1.

Wait till you watch episode 2. You'll see something beautiful.

Weekend Movie

- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)

Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll: he has burnt through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.

A year ago, HBO kicked off the year with peak. Looking forward to them doing it again tomorrow.

Xtorm7995:
Already watching bleach and will soon catch up to the Thousand Year Blood War Arc, Saw only episode one of Akiba Maid War when it first dropped and quickly added it to my watchlist for binging after seeing Ranko wrecking everyone at the end of the episode.

Enjoy the bingeing, comrade

abduleez1:
Seems this Revenger is different from Tokyo Revengers?
I'm thinking of adding it on my next anime watch when I'm done with Dororo.

Yep! It's a completely different show.

Do that. By the end of the season, I'll let you know whether to keep it there or remove it.

abduleez1:
I don't really know bro. I was actually planning to watch it last week. But since the disparaging audience reviews, I'm undecided.

Vikings: Valhalla S2 arriving same time doesn't help matters as I'll most likely choose it ahead of Velma.
No Scooby Doo or Shaggy sef is a total bummer.

Time would be better spent on something from your watch list.

Doc's bow is a thing of beauty
