JohnnyMcCarthy: You turned down a whole tomb raider reboot. This is one of those instances where you just respect a person's decision even if you dont understand it cos wtf.
Not respecting anything cos I just found out we got denied Megan Fox in a crop top and booty shorts running through the jungle. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
IngeniousLeez: Lol, I don't think the HBO TLOU series is in the running for that.
The game writer & developer himself Neil Druckmann is directly involved in the series. He's also a writer and directed an episode. So I ain't bothered by a few changes.
Saw some of the game's players discussing about the spores issue a day ago.
Based on what I've seen of the few scenes in the story, it seems it's closely adapted to the source.
IngeniousLeez: Just got a bit of interest in them especially Mohicans because of my love for Pocahontas story. Don't know if it's an adaptation of indigenous peoples or just the title.
His main film that I'd most likely watch first of his films is There Will Be Blood.
Yep, it's a story featuring Native Americans, though not related to Pocahontas in any way.
IngeniousLeez: Yeah. I've been hearing about DDL for years but don't care much for his films. Him retiring early sef didn't put much enthusiasm to his filmography.
There's no way you're going to tell me you don't care for The Last of the Mohicans and Gangs of New York.
Baddestguyp: lol... I don't keep long watchlist and even when I do... Some are time bound...
E.g I have shows on my watchlist but have no plans to watch in the next 2 months... I've set down time for them in the future already
E.g YOU season 3 Better Call Saul Ozark
Are all on my watchlist...but I have no interest in watching them now...not in the mood and won't be in the mood for them in a while
In my experience, when you have nothing to watch and yet you claim not to be in the mood to watch content you've put on hold, it's most likely because you're not actually interested in said content and more probably just have it listed for external reasons.
IngeniousLeez: Lol, we all know how incredibly limited your genres are.
Lmao, and you think I just pick and watch any show because it's highly rated. There are many shows on my watchlist with two years of research I've known them, the plot, the actors, directors etc but I don't have the time to watch. I have 2, 3, 4 to 5yrs I've been keeping some stuff in watchlist.
Watchlist you can clear in a month, is that one huge? Unless say you no get work or social outing that whole month. Just bingeing all day.
GloriousGbola: Add star wars andor to your list. It makes boba fett and kenobi look like what they - are star wars series for pikins. Andor like rogue one goes hard. What budding saboteurs really look like
Plus a hard ass chick of your flavor
It's already on my list. Got sold on it on one of my FB groups. Trying my best to get an opening for it this year.
I dey tell you. No true movie/series lover will hardly get starved of content to watch. Especially in this era of abundance. Competition in Streaming business really over-amped content production in the last 5 years. That's why it's way easier to see cancellations these days cos viewers are swamped with options.
Even if better new content no dey, the massive list of classic all time greats wey I never watch, is more than enough to satiate my thirst.
TV shows was the absolute performer last year. That industry grew like 10 fold in my eyes cos there were tons of good new shows I couldn't join or keep up with. Not to talk of the old or returning franchises.
Only person for this life wey I reason say fit get small excuse na person like Koice Reloaded. That guy na Wikipedia.
Omo! Una dey discuss The White Lotus for series thread. I wan make spermbutt ban all of una cos y'all made me want to check out the show but where I wan slot am. I even have to suspend Pennyworth and Doom Patrol at some point so I can follow Carnival Row and The Mandalorian S3. Content choke bros. Na just life and good health we dey pray for.
Even Koice back in the day had the occasional classic he'd catch up on from time to time
I watched The Batman in cinema last year. I still downloaded the first few days it was available on digital. But I watched like first ten minutes and stopped. I just felt my time will be used properly if I cleared my humongous backlog a bit and make little space for upcoming content. I just calculated the 3hrs I'd use to watch it and see the potential of content I might clear. I push am to another day. Up till now I never still go back for rewatch as no time dey.
I still get puzzled a bit when ppl say they don't have content to watch. Cos me I hardly have time to watch what's on my watchlist. Even if I wasn't this busy, I don't think I can clear my current TV Watchlist in two years. Talk less of adding the movies. And the list keeps growing in geometric progression.
This right here. Like, I want to rewatch Hobbs and Shaw, Ford vs Ferrari, X2: X-men United, Princess Mononoke and Veer-Zaara but 52 weeks no even dey enough for my current to-watch list. And these are just for movies, we never talk series.
Most people just watch the popular trending stuff. Not a lot of people actually know their preferred genres, styles, themes, etc. And also won't really bother to watch a movie if it wasn't being talked about in one of their circles. Las las any true movie enjoyed can hardly claim to be starved of movies to watch.
Shuichi Shigeno, of Initial D fame, has been cooking a successor for the past 5 years and Felix Film is now set to bring it to screen this year. MF Ghost, ladies and gentlemen.
