Two things are involved... He may be suffering from sleep apnea..... Try convincing him to sleep on his side and monitor him if the sound occurs again...

Secondly he may be having issues with some arteries in his body system which can eventually lead to cardiac arrest while sleeping...

Either ways... Please take him to a good doctor for diagnosis... Not having a sound sleep is a bad thing..

I'm not disputing that fact... But it is overhyped bro... Or why do u think US won't allow them sell the exynos version to them... I've had first hand experience with various models of Samsung phones that uses exynos and compared with the SD variant...
