Nature is the physical environment and all the elements we see; the waters, the rocks, the trees, the mountains, the animals and the plants. The laws of nature are based on the principles of natural-expression and preservation. As the leaves whisper, the birds chip, same apply to humans, to express true-nature. There is an obedience to nature, and this is represented as the laws of nature. Man is expected to obey nature and never cheat it. Some man-made laws however, inhibit the human-nature which thus, creates the conflicts between the mind, body and the environment. The mind wants the body to interact with the environment but, the man-made laws proposed, are stopping it. Humans share similarity with animals. The desire, instinct and other characteristics are similar traits of animals. The sinful nature of man is 'true-nature'. Man's true-nature is condemned by the created laws of man and judged for acts of fornication, adultery, greed, hunger, and lust. The original nature of man is expressed through adventure and man will naturally seek pleasure with many opposite partners like other animals do. If man do commit these sins, he is simply in obedience to the laws of nature. A woman becomes a woman, once she turns 12-years of age. The laws of nature, permits her to procreate, but the laws of man, do not permit until she is of 18-years of age. If a woman below the required age of law choose to seek the pleasure of a man, it is considered natural. The earth is of free-gift; from the air, to the fruits, to the waters. For everything, is at the liberty of man. Man does not need to work for anything. According to the laws of man, if a man acquires things he did not work for, it is considered stealing. In the Garden of Eden, God gave man all things free until the disobedient act was commited. The laws of God therefore, conflicted with the nature of Adam. Nature is considered to be good, beautiful and expressive. At the same, nature is destructive in many forms. The complexity of man, makes nature appear as evil. Writing by Kay Jordan (c) 2024. |
The saying - "what you do unto others, others shall do unto you" - simplifies the understanding why events in person's life happen. This philosophy of life is believed, to hold origin in India. For a long time, Indians have abided by the Laws of Karma and long-practised its principles. It is believed, Karma teaches lessons that guide person's ways. For the actions of persons, pre-determine their fate. Karma is considered spiritual and connected to the Universe. For the Universe shifts, based on person's actions. Therefore, anything persons does, will have a spiritual effect. From a physical perspective, it is quite clear, that persons would naturally reciprocate, if a person does good. Also persons will reciprocate badly, if persons do bad. Therefore, without any spiritual connection, things are still bound to happen based on person's decisions. Persons do evil in the world, yet they get away with it, without a reward of any kind. Also, persons do good, and do not get any reward of any kind. In unexplainable situations, persons who do bad, usually get rewarded with good. As well, persons who do good, get rewarded with bad. When this happens, it is referred as the 'unexplainable'. Many have defended that, if persons do not get appropriate rewards for either deeds on earth, they shall be rewarded in eternity. Persons of little faith continue to question, why certain negative events happen regardless, the seed of 'good' sowed on earth? Some lose faith completely, while some accept truth and fate. Karma may be spiritual, it may be physical or it may be a person's conscience. Whatever it is, the actions of man, speaks louder than the unknown. Writing by Kay Jordan (c) 2024. |
Africa is a third-world continent rich in natural resources but, poor in development, mainly because the people lack the ability to do anything about it. There are clear indicators that point to Africa's poor development; they are biological problems but largely, social problems. Biologically, Africans seem to be slow-natured and baby-crawlers. Although, the physiology of the African body seems stronger than the White's; these abled-bodied men, take their strength across the shores of their land to practise post-slavery. The mental-processing of an average African is like an out-dated Computer Processing Unit, that requires re-programming. The African-mind is quite gullible. It can absorb any piece of information, including the lame ones. Some Africans are quite desperate and always seem to be in a competition with themselves. The continent is one step behind and this leads to a next issue which is a social problem. Africans have had a pre-existing orientation rooted in traditions before the introduction of religion to Africa. To be candid, the introduction of religion, made them worse-of. The religious bias affects nearly every aspect of their life and it has become a Syndrome. They have become so dependent on religion for everything to a point, they find it difficult to do things the proper way. Religion is like a Google-Search engine where an average African literally go to, for the simplest answers the human-mind can possibly think of in seconds. The actual problem - the 'thinking'. There is so much, practical-thinking can solve in Africa. One fortunate story about Africa, is the Colonization-Era story. Colonialism, opened the door of opportunity for Africa's development. The Colonizers wanted their stay in Africa to be comfortable therefore, they created developments that would make the continent habitable for them. In-directly, Africans benefited from these developments. These could be seen in education, healthcare, infrastructure and many others. After all the work done by the Colonizers, and seeing development created, Africans began to feel 'entitled'. Therefore, Africans called for an independence from the Colonizers. After series of protests, Africa finally got its independence and the people felt freed from 'assumed' bondage - they thought they knew it all. Unfortunately, this decision became the beginning of their problems. One big problem identified is the fact that - 'Africans cannot rule themselves right'. They have a weak mind-set that is not healthy for development and that problem is an 'entitlement' problem. In Africa, it is all about 'take', than give. The average African would rather take from a system than give to it. If a National-Cake were to be shared, the average African, would take a lot for himself and also for his family without leaving much to save. The average African wants an education simply to improve standard of living and to compete, rather than for the good of the continent. The average African spends alot of money on local and international education in pretence to use the knowledge for the development of Africa but in truth, it is for money-making and promotion. Many average Africans would not do anything for free. There must be a benefit of some kind. If a person's car breaks down in the middle of the road, and the person really needs a help, the average African will demand for a token to render such help. Many African civil-servants are entrusted with public-funds and to do good with it. This is not always the case because of the natural entitlement problem. Rather than build proposed public-schools with public-funds entrusted to them, they would prefer to build private houses for themselves and families and feel entitled to them. Average Africans have no limits, no sense of prudency and no futuristic-thinking. The average African loves to buy things, and keeps buying things. They do these, for two reasons; to make life comfortable and to impress. An average African is all about consumption than capital development. It is always a situation of "what can I get out of it" than a "what can I give or keep for it". The average African loves the-Parties. These events are the best places to show-off self-worth, and one's worth is not one's dignity but rather, one's exotic automobile, sophisticated phone and how much money can be sprayed in one-sitting. The animal-nature of an average African-man is the lusts for women. The average African-man would not mind spending his last cent on a special lady. The night-life for the average Africans, knows no bound - it is all about eating, drinking, smoking, womanizing and littering-up the environment daily and uncontrollably. In Africa, there is zero-conservatism. No saving of the environment or the animals, everything is consumed including the trees. Africa has a problem with creating anything that is of 'quality'. The average African is desperate and impatient with projects, because of what needs to be gotten out of them 'fast'. The average African always seems to be in a haste to get things done, and will usually say things like - "do it Fast, Fast" - "it is okay that way, leave it that way". The Imperfection-Syndrome is ruled by an avid love of money and therefore, quality is of little importance. The cause of Africa's bigotry is not only a biological and social-nature, but it is also a religious-manipulation. One may call it - 'hypnotism'. The religious-system is safe to be called a 'pandemic' in Africa. It has become contagious that one would think, they should be needing spiritual help too. Many have gone religiously-paranoid over basic problems to a point that, it becomes difficult to seperate a healthy African from a mentally-unhealthy one. This practise by the average Africans, make them un-teachable and ignorant for proper orientation. The religious-system and poor-social development of the average Africans, do not make them critical-thinkers but dependent souls on a religious-sedative system. Africa will always be a dependent continent on the West because of its natural ability to continue to do so. The orientation of an average African will never make possible, for an invention. If average Africans continue to rely on the West for everything, they will not get pass where they currently are. If average Africans only see education as a tool for money-making and not for African-inventions, there will be no further development beyond what they have. A black-man is physically stronger than a white-man, but a white-man is mentally stronger. According to Science, humans evolved from Africa. The blood that flows in a black-man, also flows in a white-man, including the Writer of this article. The truth is, the white-man was able to evolve from a primitive-nature to a developed-nature, but the black-man, still retains a semi-primitive nature even after centuries. Some events in the world's history, have been marred by war. The history of persons in the world have been characterised by war. Dating to the biblical years of the BC and AC, war has been known; even to the historical stories told on war in ancient empires. One may be interested to know the causes of war. War has a religious background therefore, war was probably invented on the premise of religion. Countries of the world have defined territories with the principles of religion thus, religious faith that do not hold their belief are considered outcast and pushed out of their boundaries. Religious-war is currently witnessed in countries today and a vivid example is the ongoing Israel and Palestine war. The conflict of Christianity and Islam is a well known debate. It is therefore, a man-made conflict based on the religious bias, man holds against other men. How does one find his religion more superior than the other? On what basis, should a person's religion be imposed on other person's through war or other forms of expression? Clearly it is a human-complexity, one must question. In situations where religious-wars involve annexation as experienced in the Israel-Palestine war, how does annexation beyond borders enhance a religious group's sentiment? Could this be a matter of unnecessary religious opinions or a forseen border insecurity? Many of these doubts are usually highlighted, but no definite answer has been made to defend the decisions of religious-groups. Land-dispute closely related to religious-war, is also a cause of war and in most cases, the major causes of wars. Land-wars have a history spanning more than five decades. These events have created popular names in the game such - Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein and many others. In contemporary times, the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war gives persons a modern-day perspective on the triggers of war. The Russia-Ukraine war is caused by land-possession and political-supremacy. As mentioned earlier, land dispute arise, after countries receive intelligence about a forseen security threat or a possible take-over by a neighbouring country. This kind of situation usually trigger a country to strike first in fear that they may be striked. Other factors of war can be economically inclined particularly, if the land in dispute, is in possession of a natural resource, that can make either country rich. These resources in question, can strengthen a country's dominance in world-politics and give leaders of such countries, the needed recognition they desire. Tribal and inter-tribal wars are common. When one group believes it is better than the other, it creates a tribal-war. When one member of a tribe offends a member of another tribe, it creates a tribal-war that can linger for years. Examples of tribal-wars can be traced through history, to countries like Rwanda, Nigeria, Sudan and many others. These countries have unique stories that tell lessons of causes. The summary reason is person's DIFFERENCES. The human-character is predictable and inevitable. If a person's character is inevitable, then tribal-wars are probably inevitable. The inability of man to control self in the world, came a need for a system to keep man grounded and checked; therefore, the creation of laws and constitutions. For if man is not guided by laws, there will be anarchy. For some divine-reason probably, United States of America was selected by purpose, to be a guardian of the world; knowing well, man's inevitable nature. America serves as a mediator on most of the socio-political issues in the world. Its interference in world politics have resolved conflicts and as well received criticisms of imperialism. Many countries have fought against America's interference and these countries have become separatist-countries. There exist fears of global interference by the West and these fears translate to political-dominance, colonialism and security threats. Countries would rather have their own free-will than be controlled like puppets - in supposed views. It is the free-will that create the wars that exist, therefore the need for a global-guardian to control these to some extent. War is created by persons with differences, but how does this escalate? Many reasons are potential causes of wars, but one is certain - 'Ignorance'. The cases of wars are caused by a lack of knowledge or misinterpreted information of knowledge. If persons are educated on certain historical knowledge, these can be imbibed and passed through generations and therefore, create the hostility between persons or groups. This is experienced in today's society. Relationships existing in the world today, are formed by person's knowledge and enculturation. If the knowledge is of a negative-nature and passed onto generations, it will create long-term hostility that may eventually lead to wars. This is why information is powerful - it informs and it also destroys. The power of the pen, is more powerful than the power of a gun because of the many lives, information can touch at once. Information can lead to gun-battles - for it has a controlling-effect on an average human-mind. War may never be solved. The Book of Revelations of the Bible reveals, events in the existing world, are pre-destined to happen. A variable of war is human-nature. In the family, there is conflict, from sibling-rivalry to husband-wife conflict. If a family cannot control its outcome, then clearly, no one can be in control of war when it breaks. This subject-matter is related to the Edo State governorship election. It is believed that the voting exercise and the result announced, is the true decision of the people rather than a sabotaged election. The question is, why did people not hold such fact about the 2023 general elections nor for the announcement of Tinubu as the winner? Prior to the elections, there existed a lot of sing-praising of a certain candidate. This candidate was seen as the messiah that will deliver the people from the impending problems of the land. There existed also counter-praises of another candidate as the only person most qualified for the job, due to his remarkable services rendered to the country over the years. While this was obviously a debate-competition, there came a need to know which of the two groups is right through a general election and so, there was one. The result was announced and the candidate of 'most qualified' according to his supporting group, was declared, winner of the 2023 presidential election. The next day, the mood of Nigeria was down. People who had their hopes up for a supposed 'unique' candidate spoke against the electoral process - they became vocal on the matters of technical issues, mal-practises and violence during the election. According to some Nigerians, the election is considered, the worst in Nigeria's history. Does this view hold the general view of the country? Or rather, the pocket view of selected Nigerian groups? Based on the existing geo-political facts, the outcome of the election and the result, to a very large extent, reflect the choice of the majority. FACT ONE - Nigeria's estimated population is 250 million. There exist three major tribes of sentiment - namely; Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo. It is believed, if the candidate is Yoruba, then the tribe that is Yoruba will vote for him. If the candidate is Hausa, the tribe that is Hausa will vote for him. If the candidate is Igbo, the tribe that is Igbo will vote for him. Based on the facts, the Hausa people are more in number than any other tribe in population. Therefore, it is clear, why Hausas will win an election. It is also clear, why every candidate had a Hausa vice-presidential candidate on their team, for having a Hausa candidate, helps win the sentiment of this large group. If one does a simplified calculation: Nigeria may be divided into three groups - if one of the three is the largest, definitely the other two will be smaller. If one adds one of the smaller groups to the largest group, it will - in combination, become the larger group collectively and thus, certainly will become much larger than the last smaller group. This explains the winning strategy. FACT TWO - The geography of Nigeria states that there exist four simplified regions - the North, West, East and the South - of the four regions, the North is the largest, based on its land-mass. The size of the North, is half the size of the country. This forms a background understanding why the population of the north, is higher than the population of other regions. Therefore, the large land-mass of the region, may be the cause of its high population, if considered. If one combines the largest region with one of the smaller regions, the result will be nearly three of a quarter of the total land-mass of the country. Based on the number of states required to be won, only the candidate with a wider land-mass converage, will win. FACT THREE - The culture of the people, create the sentiments that exist. As described in Fact One, groups of persons will show loyalty to a member of their group. It is only in unavoidable situations that, members of a different group will vote for a candidate belonging to another group. Another sentiment to consider is cordial relationship. If two groups are in conflict with each other, they are likely not to support each other but, If they do have a cordial relationship, both groups are likely to support each other. In the case of this election, two major ethnic-groups have a mundane yet, cordial relationship. The last major ethnic-group, has an estranged relationship with the other two ethnic-groups. The only ethnic-group, this estranged group may have a cordial relationship with, is a minority ethnic-group that is similar to them in culture. It is further clear that, two major ethnic-groups against one major ethnic-group, will have more power. Therefore, two against one is the winning strategy. FACT FOUR - It is human to know that, if a person is a famous super-star, such a person will certainly have a lot of followers. Therefore, if a candidate is more popular over the other, that candidate will have more followers and also, more votes. It is as clear, as it is. Another point to note is, if a candidate is more popular because of his years of recognition in a particular country or industry, than the years of recognition of his opponent, he has a better chance of winning an election. The facts mentioned are known facts by persons; some are ignored facts by persons deliberately and some are not' well-known facts by persons. How a person perceives information is different. Many reasons that discredit the result of the election have been put on the table. Some of these reasons are technical views and some are emotional views. These views are quite valid on the surface, but they undermine the practical facts that are used to declare a candidate a winner. Therefore, the views held by some persons are imaginative and lack in concrete facts and evidence. The abstract views of people, have little chances of winning a court case. For the courts, only judge matters on pre-existing facts only, not hearsays, imaginative thinking, or mere excuses. Therefore, it is no rocket-science how a candidate emerges a winner of an election. When the facts are presented and played well, victory is assured. Nevertheless, the little 'sample-evidences' derived digitally by concerned persons, and the abstract views on the outcome of the election result, can be considered, however the evidence of things 'seen' and validated, are more provable and believable. This is common amongst everyone even in personal living. If one still have doubts, in the facts of the 2023 presidential election result or its process, such a person is considered to be religiously ignorant or wishful. Writing by Kay Jordan (c) 2024 |
The country Nigeria, is known for its back and forth and governance, have been deemed below average since its independence. A question have been asked - "what went wrong" ? and the answer the people seek, probably lye in their hearts or in their fate. While this is not certain yet, the approach to find an answer to the country's problem, is yet not a rocket science but rather, a continuous 'thinking' process. The core thing that come mind concerning Nigeria, is - 'global stratification' or something similar - 'divine purpose'. This may sound unconventional, but it explains that, Nigeria and other third world countries, may have a divine purpose or a specific role to play in the functionality of the world. This may be why, certain countries are dependent on prosperous countries and will forever be, probably. This claim remains invalid due to no proof of such. From a realistic and practical angle, Nigeria may need to identify its weaknesses that inhibit its strength and some of them are noted of, in the content of this article. THE PERSONALITY - Nigeria just like every other country, have a unique personality. This unique set of traits is rather biological than physical. A personal experience indicate, a few Nigerians have shown more negative personality traits. The negative traits probably affect 70% of the country's development and the 30%, affected by the positive traits - just an opinion. Some identified negative traits can be - bad manners, disobedience, arrogance and greed. On the other, the positive traits can be - industrious nature, hospitality and resilience. It may be unfortunate to know, that the negatives outweigh the positives. This may be the reason for the country's stalling development. EDUCATION - This is a very important part of people's life. Knowledge is transferred unto persons from books, schools, families, traditions and experiences. What is really important, is the value of knowledge and its relevance to one's self and how one's self with knowledge can be relevant to the world. Nigeria is partly educated but, its education is not too significant in its development. Some persons may have education and use it appropriately - socially and economically or, totally disregard it. Some may see education only as an 'entitlement', some see it as an employment tool. What ever the case, education has two meanings - a positive meaning and a negative meaning, for education is education. If persons display traits from a background of negative education otherwise known as poor education, such persons will be of more harm to a country than of good. If persons display traits borne out of a background of positive education otherwise known as good education, such persons will be part of the development of a country. The family background that persons come from and develop in, form the positive and the negative decisions, persons perform in the country. Therefore, education is not a paper result, rather an abstract result. POPULATION - This is a factor of development. Population growth is connected to the education of a country. If the education of a country permit a high rate of child bearing, so will it be. Same, if a religious education permit procreation in multitude, so will it be. The orientation of persons is formed by the education they acquire. Population is one of the key problems in the world and in Nigeria. This is why the 'poverty' versus 'development' ratio is clear. If persons are ignorant of family-planning as a result of their level of education, evidently persons are part of the problem the country experience. Countries of the world have created strict and sometimes, anti-human right policies to fix this problem. If countries do not make these policies, these countries will run out of the little resources they hold for a high population. Therefore, migration laws may need to be reviewed and family planning advised. CORRUPTION - This subject matter is cliche but it does address some issues. Corruption is a common topic usually attached to politicians, but it is wider than what one usually imagine. Every body is naturally self-centred except if persons are Altruists. Some persons will usually say a popular statement- "take care of your home first". This is a common thing. When the country is in economic crisis and its political leaders are heard of, flying out of the country on official assignments, persons condemn this act and tag it - selfish. Nearly everyone does not have a general problem with corruption or a failed political system; the problem rather, is if they are 'personally' affected. If the political system is a failed one, then the average person is believed to be in no problem if, it does not personally affect him/her in anyway. This describes the nature of self-centredness in certain persons. The popular phrase - "If you cannot beat them, you join them", was probably modelled after this case. This problem is completely natural even in the wild. Only persons with some sense of righteousness, create a contrast in a society. If persons of such righteousness can be identified by person's forehead, a good leader may be found amongst them. Also, if such righteousness is found amongst a population of a country, a good leader will thus, have a good number of persons like himself to lead in a convenient manner. Nigeria have problem-variables. Some have not been identified in this article. Nevertheless, a solution may uncover, through 'critical thinking', through the 'supernatural' as some persons may believe, or completely through science. The answer may be farfetched or close by. Anither563:It's a pleasure! |
President Tinubu took on the office of the President on May 29, 2023. He declared a removal of subsidy in his speech and this created a controversy. One cannot be sure if Tinubu's declaration was an immediate order or if it was a developing order. What was noticed, was a panic from Nigerians which resulted in chaotic queues at fuel stations nationwide. Analysts declared his decision as hasty, others say decision should have been implemented with consultation. Whatever the case, the decision has been made and Nigerians feel the discomfort of Tinubu's decision. Petroleum is the heart of business activity in the country. No one relies on any other energy source. A decision made on this natural product affects literally every thing you can imagine. This is where the problem is. Citizens have to make tough choices based on a "Commodity". What they consume, where they go and what they do in their daily life is determined by a commodity - " Petroleum". There goes a saying - "Teach me how to fish, do not give me fish" . This statement describes the subject of this article - the "Teachings" and the "Training" of Tinubu's governance. One may wish to call it "Personal Economics 101" or "Personal Banking 101" - which ever pleases your heart, persons are training to become self-sufficient and economical. Nigerians are used to the "Mother and Child" treatment of the Government and the new policy of "Father and Child" is being perceived as punishment for an offence they do not know of. Many despise this new policy and want it reversed to one which is more familiar and comfortable. Persons during many comedic-stage performances, have demonstrated a desire for former Presidents to return, as they deem former government administrations, favourable compared to the existing one. Former President Goodluck Jonathan, saw the sustainable need for a "Mother and Child" administration. He probably sensed if the feeding bottle were taken away, the baby, would cry. This act of sensitivity informed his decision to retain the fuel subsidy even if the country crashed, for the feelings of Nigerians are more important than the assets the country hold. Nigerians also concurred - as long as they were not the sacrificial lambs. The country's administration is run with emotions than with practicality and for many decades, this system of practise has resulted to fiscal problems such as deficit and debts. Advocates suggest a rigid governance if the country truly seeks a solution to these problems - therefore, a call for a Leader who is radical. One, who will steer the ship to the path of "Needs" rather than the path of "Wants". It is indeed clear, Nigerian do not know the difference between a "Need" and a "Want", hence the call for a Leader who would show the people the way. It is no surprise, life is going through a pre-evolution phase. Persons are making wise decisions - some embracing Agriculture, a neglected sector. Sometimes, tough decisions make tough people if willing. This does not mean a support for the current discomfort faced by Nigerians but rather, a support for proper governance. Proper governance means; providing basic amenities, services and security for the people. One must understand PRIORITISATION. In a bid to provide all basic amenities and services to the people, all stakeholders including the citizens must understand the current status of their country and acknowledge the hard facts, that these amenities and services will not be feasible. The country's economic status is tagged "DEVELOPING", given the existing statistics. One cannot possibly wish for an immediate standard of living of a developed country in a "developing" country of this kind. Therefore, the country can only afford to fund "INFRASTRUCTURE" instead of "CONSUMPTION" that Nigerians have enjoyed over time. In no situation, can both a "Need" for infrastructure and a "Want" for consumption be provided for at the same time, given the current financial status of the country. This situation is described best with this statement - "You cannot eat your cake and still have it". Theorists write to the current discomfort faced in the country - they address the fundamental issues with facts and figures. A blueprint for development sometimes is easier written than implemented. Why this is? It is simply because no one truly sees the future. You are only as knowledgeable as your yesterday. Therefore, no manifesto truly describes the outcome of tomorrow except if the writers of such are Psychics. Tinubu's decision to remove subsidy could not have been done better, for no one knows best, the right strategy to make a country better. The Government system is a complex system of wires and you need be, a "GOOD" Technician to pull the right wires. Only the creator of the conduit box can be the "GREAT" Technician for the device that which he created, he knows best how to handle. No existing President have sufficient foundational understanding of the problems their countries face therefore, such Leader can only perform a trial and error. If a Leader does solve the problems of a country that he did not create, then he must be great. The hidden training of Tinubu's administration is in one's daily experience. Indirectly, the Government is training the people to become active players than receivers. Even though, it is the Government's responsibility to provide for the citizens, the circumstances do not allow Government fully deliver on such promise therefore, the call for citizens to fend for themselves in the areas the Government lack capacity. |
jaephoenix:There is no fact to prove the power of words or its efficiency. The intent of this article is to seek within you, your answer. Every one may have different answers. Your experience answers the question best. |
Lordsugar:It's a pleasure! |
The subject matter of "Power of Words" is a viewpoint in the schools of Wishful Thinking, Affirmation, Laws of Attraction and Religion. These schools of thought promote the doctrine of the effectiveness of "WORD" in prayers, religious or occultic practices. All beliefs that share the view of "Power of Words", derive their energy from a universe which births a belief in the "saying" and "prophesy" or beliefs of "whatever you say, will come to pass. Many religions of the world have practiced this and have testified its effectiveness. Other pseudoscientific beliefs such as the Laws of Attraction, believe in affirmation - that "anything you say frequently will come to you". Believers of the Laws of Attraction have similar testimony as other universal belief systems. The bottom-line argument is if, the affirmation of "words" is effective or purely deceitful. Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and other religious believers may have different experiences with affirmation of words. Some research have been conducted on persons who prayed for positive things to happen in their life but, probably got disappointed when their answers were not heard. This is usually diffused with statements such as "God knows best". Some believers keep up with the practice, some discontinue. Many actually believe prayers, affirmations, wishful thinking are just "statements" and have no real impact on the physical environment. Some believe religion is ineffective and creates excuses for failed promises such as "do not question God". Believers have defended their religious faith as the "one" that works if persons willingly surrender their hearts to God or a Universal belief - therefore, it is only through blind faith, belief and a relationship with God or a Universe that affirmation and prayer would work on persons. In practical sense, many would want to inquire if casual words have impact on others - for example, persons saying negative comments at each other in arguments - one would wonder if these words could manifest in the universe? In most cases, NO. There's hasn't been a proven situation or sufficient evidence, a person has been affected positively or negatively by words said unto them. Neither have anyone who have practiced wishful thinking or laws of attraction attracted anything they wished for nor affirmed it in practise. Many who may have practiced these affirmative acts through positive thinking, prayers or laws of attraction, never question why these affirmations never worked in their life and some either ignore or continue through an indifferent practised faith. Is there a distinction between affirmation that have "worked" effectively and COINCIDENCE? Persons have always attached the goods in their life to their gods. Others believe events are merely coincidence. We cannot be sure if affirmation is promoted by spiritual effects or events, we cannot also prove "affirmation" as a coincidence. It becomes unclear, when good events are attached to a positive thinking or God, and negative events being attached to the devil and in some beliefs - to God. There is no sufficient physical or spiritual evidence that clarifies this fact therefore, persons accept a truth, believing absolutely in any belief they choose. The subject matter is controversial in some parts of the world and in some regions, the subject matter is already defined based on an unrepentant belief in their faith. |
jorion:A man who's financially buoyant can make any decision he wants because he's got the money. True! If a man lives separate from a partner, that can be a win-win situation and, that can save both partners a lot of daily altercation. |
Many are in pursuit of a perfect partner- the question remains how? The success story of married couples explains the "hows". A colleague told me a secret and I wasn't really surprised. He said he never really loved his wife when he got married to her. I would have asked why he still hanged in there with someone he doesn't love but, I felt that would be interfering. However, he did clarify his decision by making it clear that "people don't really know what they want until they try". That was a risk but the clearest answer he could give. I want to elaborate on this subject using the advice from the aforementioned colleague. Finding the right partner comes down to different things, but two come to mind- "understanding and risk. These two principles, help you find the presumed "right partner". If there's no risk taking, you'll be unable to know if a prospective partner is right or wrong. Second, if you do take the risk, you need an understanding to know each other better for a long lasting relationship. We often realise these things and wonder why relationships still fail.. the answer- DECISION As a partner, you are as powerful as your other half. Neither of you is mightier, so what whatever either of you decide upon, can keep or totally destroy a marriage. That's the power of decision. If we drafted a "book of prophetic love" on marriage, a marriage would still fail because, you would base your expectations on predictions and educated guesses rather than reality. Marriage is truly a "decision" that must be mutually agreed on. The possibility of a good partner or marriage can be 100% but can partners drop their egos to make this work? Ego has been a big factor for most partners and neither partner is willing to sacrifice for it. Marriages that have lasted beyond 30 years, may have secrets many of you are in search of. It's easy to appreciate the 30-year journey of some marriages, but can you really take the bullets these partners have shot at each other for years? - even though they're still waxing on- DECISION Marriage isn't for the faint hearted. You must have a tough skin to endure the characteristics of marriage. Never look down on someone who says they will never get married...they've probably seen ahead of you or are just being protective of their hearts. The decision to get married is a cross you must imagine - you should also be willing to carry it no matter the circumstance. You can always come out of a relationship if it becomes unhealthy. Can you really find the right partner? No. But you can adapt. There's no such thing as a right partner neither is there anyone of your rib as well. If that isn't the case then, partners will not hop from one marriage to another- so the "rib of my ribs" school of thought holds no waters. People just match mate their personalities to find compatibility - that's all. How can you find a potential partner or someone close to your perfect idea, send me a message so I can share tips. |
This is a good decision. Pricing will be centralized and regulated. If this works, it will improve the economy. |
Humans may wish to appreciate the opinion of marriage being a subject matter, a secondary purpose. The real intent of your creation is to perform a missionary duty on earth. Overtime, we get misguided - place the least important over the most important on a scale of preference of life. If we master concentration of mind on purpose, the above subject matter will not be of much significance. Unfortunately, the flesh is a stronger force in the which it overrides our true purpose and identity. We may not know our purpose, but we deeply care to know much about our marriage partners and the marital status in the future - as this serves a greater importance to us than our reason for being. Procreation is a secondary purpose performed through a marital union or through adventure. The laws either encourage or prohibit but - based on the the privilege of free will, we may choose either options that fulfills this purpose. Therefore, we have no reason to worry about marriage for your choice determines your happiness. |
The Igbo tribe is Nigerian. This ethnic group have equal rights as every other tribe in the country, but the attitude of some of their members, make other tribes repel them. Members of this tribe, receive feedback from their counterparts tribes about their attitude. The Igbo tribe acknowledge the feedback, and make no effort to modify their attitude and further intensify the negative attitude with an ego. This makes it difficult for other tribes to tolerate the Igbo tribe's rigidity. The Igbo tribe have an independent "don't tell me what to do attitude" and prefer to listen to their inborn instructions than compromise. They seem to like motivation or repelling forces to push them to do the right or necessary things at times. |
Politics is a very interesting game. It's like the stock market. You invests your money in a market sector, you pull it out if the risk is high and invests in another market sector. The real point is politics is the PEOPLE and people change a lot. Money or new friendships changes them. It becomes difficult to stay loyal to your words and remain in a party you promised to never pull out from. APC is the best strategic move for him. He couldn't have calculated it any better with any other party. He will also have his guards up in the new party now that he's a very experienced man with lots of disappointments he's received over the months. It's a risk he's probably willing to take on to become the governor of the state or for any other candid reason he's applying for the seat. |
It's simply HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY. You'd naturally not say a Happy Birthday to a group of persons you're not familiar or comfortable with. Every one would probably do the same except if persons have good emotional intelligence. This is just a curious observation from a group of persons from the other side that just want to make it a bit of an issue. |
Financial Times I believe is an independent news organisation that report on facts around the world. In this case of Nigeria's, they're looped unto an unverified fact this time. Tinubu is a separate entity and once a private citizen. It will be unfair to attach his moderate wealth to the government's financial resources. He's got private business rights like every other Nigerian and it's therefore not unrealistic for a business man to acquire legitimate wealth. The economic hardship experienced in the country is created by global economic policies and many country leaders in the world are still fixing the puzzle bedeviling their countries. To run a country is a game of chess. You can't simply rely on policies or human knowledge to fix world problems- not even if you engage the top 3 consulting firms in the world. Politics is a game of guesses and risk. You can never be too sure about your decisions until you've tried them out. The best people to tell what happens in Nigeria are the Nigerians. They're closer to the facts and have first hand knowledge to some extent. |
Tinubu selects his personnel with the advice and directives of his advisers. If the best advice is to pick the personnel from a region than any other region, then there's certainly a qualification and security requirement behind this decision. |
The man is a threat to national security. Such a person shouldn't be released from prison. Due process must be followed in his prosecution and if released, must be repatriated to the eastern region unfailingly. |
Wole Soyinka has the rights to speak on global issues as he wants. Every decision made in the world have both a direct and indirect impact on everybody. This is a global society. America does the same. |
