To be frank with you, we don't really know - we weren't born in that Era to be able to tell which it was - neither can we tell if Jesus was black or white. But the focal point is, the "object of sin" whether it's an apple, banana, or bra. I do not have the scripture - but I hear often - "Forbidden Fruit". So since that is established, it's specific type doesn't change the argument still. Nelson21: |
Yes, that's what God wants in a secular society but not what a secular society wants - to the secular society, "Adultery & lies" are both good and bad - the reasons for these acts would determine if they are good or bad. Second, people are living "staged" lives - you must act married to avoid scrutiny ; you must cling onto your wife you don't really love to avoid scrutiny. Third, you have to lie or pay a bribe at some point to avoid a problem or danger. The truth sets you free - and lies sets you free as well. In a nutshell: We often hear - "people are not perfect" - but my question to you (which you obviously love avoiding for some reason) is have you sinned before and what motivated you to sin? You can answer my previous unanswered questions as well. MaxInDHouse: |
Answer 1: I would prefer being born by a real couple. Answer 2: If it happened to my only child, I'd fight the system till my son and I finally win. The Defence: ADULTERY: Adultery is a heart changing experience. It's natural to get tired on existing love and move on to new exciting love. You will be emotionally betraying your partner loving another man's partner even if you're still holding onto your existing marriage and with no infidelity. Male animals are naturally not loyal to a specific female specie simply because there's no law enforcing loyalty. Life is simple and sinless in the animal kingdom. In a modern day society, people will choose to be in a united family than a dysfunctional or separated family due to new world experiences and orientation. You are a product of the new world orientation - but you have the natural animal instinct (old world) as your foundation. LYING: Lying is a strategic tool. It's a human nature of "I want to save myself". Now, you don't just stand there and preach injustice, you fight to finish. In the animal kingdom, there's no right, there's no wrong. The "only" thing that is wrong is what you "experience" as a prey - because it's done onto you. Is it right for a Lion to attack a Deer, "Yes" ; is it right for a Deer to escape, "Yes". If the Lions doesn't attack (lie), they will starve to death. If the Deers don't escape (fight/defend), they will not live another day. Verdict: The difference between Sin (nature) and God = Apple! If there's no Apple, how do you know if you're sinning or not. Life would be normal - unclothedness would be normal just as the animal kingdom is. But due to complex human personalities encountered daily amid the bliss and chaos, science created secular laws to create a "balance" between variating personalities - not to change anyone. Where religious laws bring confusion and war, scientific laws bring compatible order to replace the religious order. The question I will ask you is: If you're a married man and you encounter a gorgeous woman who seduces you with her cleavage and revealing outfit in private, what would you honestly do? The question I will ask you again is: Do you obey Commandment laws because it's the right thing to do or obey Commandnent laws because you fear consequences? MaxInDHouse: |
If that's your definition - then it's a choice you've made - however, the lay man definition of "Adultery" is when either partner have sexual intercourse with another partner outside the marriage. While procreation can happen in both "marriage" and "adultery" situations, they both still serve the same purpose - "procreation". But for the sake of the modern world, "procreation in marriage" is the accepted one. To the next point: If you are lied against by the police for being the only robbery gang member they caught after taking bribes from the real culprits - then that's a situation called "survival of the fittest". If you woke up late and arrived late to work, your boss will ask you - why are you late? Will you say - "You woke up late" or "You got stuck in traffic" It becomes a moral question - what's expected of you? To be morally right or to "survive the situation". Many chose survival 90% of the time. The nature of man is wicked, selfish and greedy and that's why the people of the world came together to create religion - a system of beliefs that will control man's nature. That's the similar reason why laws are made as well - to regulate man's actions. No law can stop your nature - your nature will continue to be "maintained" by laws - be them constitutional laws or biblical laws. The golden question you're probably asking for is if I'm in support of a lawless society? NO in the aspect of harm; YES in the aspect of free-will. I'll explain: I support "realistic" control of human behavior which is powered by the constitutional laws. I do not support "unrealistic" control of human behavior which is powered by the Bible and God. Real Life Scenario 1: Bible: "Today is Sunday! It's time to go to church... You: "It's raining! I'll go next week " ... Real life Scenario 2: Alarm Clock: "Alarm clock rings at 7AM on a rainy Monday morning" You: (you wake up 1 hour after Alarm ring) "Oh shit! I'm freaking late and it's raining" (jumps out of bed to get to work) ... That's a classic display of what is real and what you're made to "believe" is real. Constitutions were designed after a careful study of human behavior, that is why some constitutional laws are realistically achievable. Biblical laws are done without consideration of human behavior - and created only on the "will" of God. For example: the law gives you rights to movement and freedom of expression (realistic) ; the Biblical law restrains you from freedom of expression (unrealistic). So the nature of man is good - it only becomes bad if it affects others and that's where the law comes in. Regardless the corrections, forgiveness, discipline and conscious acting - nature will always prevail. MaxInDHouse: |
"Thou shall not commit adultery" - this is a worldly desire forbidden by God but beneficial for humans - for the purpose of procreation. If I may add as well: "Thou shall not lie" - a lie can set you free from time to time and it's beneficial - it's called "survival". MaxInDHouse: |
Hell is what you are experiencing now. The fact you're in this world - that's hell, the fact that you are a born Nigerian and not a born American - that's probably even more hell. So practically, you're being permanently bookmarked for Hell already. Ken4Christ: |
Nature is rarely contradicted by God - it's rather a functional tool for God's purpose. You are not wrong having worldly desires. God wants to see if man can live without desires (discipline). That's the true intention. MaxInDHouse: |
Okay. I see them. |
Hmm! I see, I see, I see. Okay. D |
You're obviously a typical Nigerian who sees a 2007 Toyota Camry as "rich asset". The internet is an available service - it's not luxury. Lastly, I'm rich in the things you lack the capacity to know. SeeWahala: |
I'm not wailing - I'm explaining facts! The facts will always be there till the internet shutdown. I don't know why you expect me to Kong-Foo them into your memory. DatNiggaDaz: |
It's fascinating to realise that you already know how humble I'm. What I know is that: Rich people are less critical of Nigeria's government today; Poor people are most critical of today's government. SeeWahala: |
The same way TVC, Channels and Arise News talk about him. We also on this platform are like reporters of anything trending. So it's fine If I talk about him 24/7 the same way we would talk about a Kanye West or a Kim Kardashian. It's entertainment - and I repeat, Peter Obi is an entertainer. SeeWahala: |
My preaching is justified. Doing what is right is a matter of choice - and for that reason man created constitutional laws to guide man's choices. A dog practices what he preaches - a dog is not tied by laws - a dog has a choice. But a Christian doesn't practice what he/she preaches or learns - because there's an ongoing war between what they "hear in church" and that "strippers club" they want to attend... Dtruthspeaker: |
It would be a pleasure to see your anticipated NDC Shipping line arrive the port with empty containers. Someone wrote this: "empty vessels make the loudest noise". SeeWahala: |
I'm not speaking for the Batified - there's no useful need to beat chest in my opinion. If other Batified are beating their chest, that's their style - also they could be confident to do so, based on the current structure on ground. It's political mathematics beating their chest with confidence - most likely. DatNiggaDaz: |
What other way would you like APC to show you it's government's achievements? You are not a member of a typical church in Nigeria that once didn't permit use of a television set or mobile device in their homes - if that's still your case - I'll understand the ignorance and give you a media report of this present government's achievements. SeeWahala: |
This is a lazy approach if you permit me - to show you information that is under your nose shining pixel lights at your face. Look at Impact this way: " He built a house without furniture" - this means there's a country/government but no comfort (furniture). And look at Impact in another way: "He's "currently" building a house without furniture" - this means there's an ongoing construction and furniture (comfort) can't be installed yet. The Impact on the people is the last stage of governance - it is until then, that you'll will receive your "palliative" from the merchants, dear commenter. esnbrutality: |
There are but this will reduce travel time and provide travel security. CodeTemplar: |
When you have a result that has paper evidence - and that's been verified by a court - it is no longer a claim. Obidients claim, they don't prove. Flangelo12: |
Tinubu's administration has marketed itself - you see his achievements everyday, you read about his achievements everyday. What you don't count as his achievements are the roads, infrastructure and policies he's made. What you count as his underachievements is the fact that "you" haven't received either a bag of rice or a brown envelope at your door step. esnbrutality: |
I didn't preach perfection - I preached the laws of nature. So I'm openly admitting I'm not perfect as a result of my nature. The question is - are you? (Defender of Christ) Dtruthspeaker: |
"Largely misguided confidence". Nigerians are people that learn from one another, so their knowledge is limited and restricted to their scope of wisdom. It's common for a collectivist society to support a political candidate like Peter Obi because it creates a sense of community and belonging. Some supports from Obidients to Peter Obi are organic while some are influenced - and every Obidient beats their chest with energy as though they can attest to his greatest. A large chunk of Obidients that sing praise him don't know his background story - but I guess it's all for social media (Clout chasing). When the 2023 election was coming up, Obidients had a filled moment of chanting - releasing positive vibrations about their candidate - he was even more worshipped than Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Frankly what I noticed was their amazing blindness to their unclothedness - which they imagined was covered. In this world, if one wants objective truth - one should seek from doctors, lawyers, accountants and any other professional that deals with systems. Listening to Obidients is like waiting for an aeroplane at the bus stop instead of an airport. This cult-following have made the internet heavily flooded with their dreams and wishes. The beginning of fake or unverified news starts with them - be it - "APC destabilized our party" or "The 2023 election was rigged" or "I won't vote in this country again" or "Peter Obi will win next year - you will see" - and it goes on and on with no paper trail or evidence. Are Obidients genuine? Some are (The Blind), some are not (The Chest Beaters). ### |

He's just entertaining. Peter Obi is an entertainer. ekineme: |
When a typical Nigerian artist says "I wan blow, I just wan blow - even if na wan song". That's the same gasoline Peter Obi inhaled in 2023 - and he's currently consuming it again without the doctors advice. Fortunately, Peter Obi's hit single made number 3 on the chart in 2023 and truly - it was an interesting piece of music. But one habit of Nigerian upcoming artists is - they spend so much money on fantastic music production and marketing for just one track - which in turn generates a lot of streams and record sales - but very often, the next track they would produce would be a flop. What does Peter Obi want to do with a one-track song? Why does he insist on rubbing shoulders with the Burna boys of politics? Maybe it's early to judge - he's yet to release his next single on the NDC record label platform - so we can't wait to see how it goes. ENOUGH JOKES: If there's anything to teach here - it is: develop a talent for what you do. Environments put pressure on us to copy successful people even without the required skills. Peter Obi is a talented business man - that's proven. For politics - he's average. The fact he came third in 2023 election grades him a bronze medalist. Persons like him might need leverage - be it a Yoruba candidate or Hausa candidate. The O.K movement sounds good on radio but average technically in politics. If the coin is flipped to K.O a boost may be achieved but not in an impressive way, as Kwankwaso is also a bronze medalist himself - I suggest. Nigeria has a weakness for religious sentiment. Politics doesn't seem to work without a muslim or northerner and it's thanks to the statistics and the history of the country. A political commentator recently said "Peter Obi is not ready to win any election - he just wants to raise funds". If this analysis is accurate, then Peter Obi is just as politically aware as other contenders that the Aso rock seat is as difficult as climbing Mount Everest. As noted before, Peter Obi may have nothing to lose in 2027 - atleast, he's got his one-hit wonder fame. ### |
The money used for the purchase of nomination forms are mostly voluntary contributions from supporters. Obviously, the return on political investment is N80million accrued salaries over a period of 8 years - so what's so cool about N80million if they have to spend approximately that same amount to receive that same amount? It's probably just about the service to the people than for the money. |
The worship of the devil is "good" and not bad. The idea of Angels and Demons is a symbolic weapon crafted by man for man. In the Garden of Eden story, God gave man dominion over the Garden to do as he pleased except eat the forbidden fruit. When man disobeyed, man lost dominion over Eden. The devil has been in existence since the period of Garden of Eden and the devil has always competed and collaborated with God according to the Bible. Eve's alliance with the devil and not with God is "not" sin in the natural sense of things - Eve simply obeyed her body's desire. God was the opposite of that desire. There's nothing wrong with an Apple - the Apple in Eden was just a prop of God to differentiate between good and bad. As living beings, we consciously and unconsciously worship the devil in honesty and worship God in Deceit. Our man-made laws make life experiences limited - and when our nature is tested we deviate. Many may have affirmed a healthy life just sinning - while those who follow the scriptures to the latter lose their good health overtime. Why we should worship the Devil often? It makes us genuine. The free-will and the freedom of man is coined "sin" and rebuked. If man goes against the laws of God, he is condemned. In an enlightened period, man has discovered freedom through knowledge and is no longer gagged with restrictive statements likes "don't question God". However, many are still in the dark. The devil promoted here, is not spiritual nor biblical - but a synonym of the word "nature". As a result of our orientation, the concept of Devil is preached to us as bad - whereas, it's the idea behind it that is. Obeying your nature is good and shouldn't be mistaken for sin or a devilish act. ### |
It would be out of place for one to say amen to prayers he/she didn't ask for. It's like receiving a gift or an offer you don't need - and if you don't need it, you have the right to return it to the sender - and that's what I have just done. Your generations will need the "Amens" more than anybody. Cheers! Didijiji: |
There's a difference between what you see and what you are praying for. And there's a difference between what I see and what I am praying for. We're both seeing different things... Because I know what you see, that's the reason why I transferred your prayers back to you - so that what you "see" is what you and your lineage will see and get long term. Now that it's clear to you - your prayers are totally affirmed by your conscience and sealed. Didijiji: |
It becomes a moral question - what's expected of you? To be morally right or to "survive the situation". Many chose survival 90% of the time.
