I took time to read Mr. Fani-Kayode's vituperation. Impressed? Not at all.

You haven't shown Nigerians why we should return your boss to power but rather you keep throwing tantrums at GMB for what happened when he was the MILITARY HEAD OF STATE. The man has come out to say he cannot change what happened in the past(which he is right) and neither can your smear campaign against him change that.

We need to hear what plans your party has for us if voted to power again.

What proofs have you that he received funds from ISIS etal?

Bro, my advice is pretty simple. It depends on where your interest lies. If you still desire litigation, then you may have to reconsider the bank job cos it's going to take you out of practice.

@the masters prog, i guess you are yet to pay your tuition. If yes, you may forgo whatever fees you've already paid and then do the course in UI which you know is a very good school.

In the long run bro, where do you see yourself ten years from now. As a litigator or corporate/commercial law practitioner? That will guide you in making up your mind.

Costs flow from events and if the younger guy was offering 2000, its probably because a witness did not show up or something like that. Costs arent offered based on seniority. My brother I prefer my own interpretation of the judges comments. Sounds more realistic to me.

I beg to disagree with you on your interpretation. Don't forget that Judges accord senior members of the bar a high level of respect. Literally, Judge meant that the amount offered is too ridiculous for a senior member of the bar. Even his apperance fee alone would have exceeded that amount.

The man might not necessarily be poor. There are some lawyers who have money but all in a bid to show that they are elders at the bar and have spent many years as lawyers wear old wigs and faded gowns to court despite being rich enough to buy replacements. Many old lawyers hate wearing new wigs. Some judges also equate shiny new wigs to mean the lawyer has recently or just been called to the bar. In fact in legal parlance new lawyers are actually known by the term 'new wigs'. Maybe the man is one of those who love to show their seniority by any means possible.

@op, i'll say capital YES to the topic. What you need to know is that there are different spheres of legal practice. Whichever one you decide to settle for, there is always the opportunity to decipher which brief to take on.

Take for instance, a commercial lawyer would have no reason to twist facts beyond his/her clients' instructions which would make such a lawyer a liar.

The experience during first trimester was very scary....she vomits and was not able to cook. I did almost all the work in the house just to encourage her that we are in it together. Her recent reaction is sleeplessness, she wakes up between 1am & 2am and she won't be able to sleep until 4am. am eagerly expecting my baby, actually my first.

Thought I'm in the only one in this situation. Bro, God will help us o. Congrats

Hello poster, I was in your shoes few weeks back but I've managed to arrive at a decision. Here is my advice, to make the decision easier for you. Why do you want to buy a car now (to show off or for convenience). As your first car, you do not want a car that will be expensive to maintain or that will be taking you to the mechanics every now and then (if you are able to buy a cheap Nigerian used). I'd suggest you go for tokunbo of either Toyota corolla(1999-2000) model or a Honda civic(1999-2001) model(you can research the two cars or other cars).
I did extensive reviews on these two cars and find out they are both okay to maintain although folks told me to be weary of the Honda (steering issue).

Forget about buying a Nigerian used. Except you are buying from a known associate or relative. If you buy from a stranger, even if then person had changed the engine or gear box etc they will not tell you.

Give yourself peace of mind and buy a decent tokunbo.
