One of the greatest achievement in Nigeria is to become a student of tertiary institution after writing several SSCEs and JAMBs. Greater than that is to now study you preffered course but more greater than this is to see your name on the pass list to participate the in the much awaited NYSC. But most greatest of all is to successfully complete the service amidst many fears. So after the Passing Out Parade, what next? To many, its now time to go into the over crowded labour market and try our luck parhaps we may be fortunate to get "a job", it does matter if its suits my likeness or not, my aspirations or not, my potentials or not, what matters is the "pay". Its good and say its neccessary to look for a good paying job but graduating is just the beginning and not the end of reading, studying and researching. It is common among Nigerian graduates to stop reading after graduatiog from school. This is disheartening. It suppose to be the begining of personal development. Formal education will earn you a living but personal development through reading, listening and watching will earn you a fortune. I hear you say "where will I get the money to buy books, go to seminars, listen to audio tapes?" but I will also ask you where you get the money to buy BB, BIS monthly, data on your laptop etc. I have come to realize that real wealth is not in being an employee but its found in personal development. It has been said that "empty your pocket to fill your brain so that your brain will fill your pocket in multiples". It has also being said that "what its in your head determines what its in your hand". Am not saying you shouldn't look for a job after graduation but what am emphasizing here is that graduation is not the end of the journey, its actually the begining of a lifetme journey. Thanks. Are You Prepared? Preparation, they say prevents poor performance. But to me its more than that. In this world of rapid and unexpected changes, what distinguishes the winner from the looser, the rich from the poor, the successfuls from the failures is actually preparation. The word POOR really defines the poor people. POOR is an acronym for Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly. It is the poor man that will say I knew when it was #5, I was there when it was #7, I knew when it was #10, now it is #50. He never prepare for opportunity. In the words Richard Branson, opportunities are like buses, they will always come but will get to apoint where it will be late to enter the bus. If you look into your life you will see that truly you have missed some opportunities because you are not prepared for them. My question to you this afternoon is that are you now prepared for the next or you still want to remain POOR (Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly)? |
Ponel: I was thinking the burial will be shifted, and how was the corpse taken to ondo state was it by road or air?that is what came to my mind too |
What Are Your Thoughts? Do you know that your thoughts are directly related to your reality? Do you know that your reality is a true reflection of what your thoughts are? Did you know that thoughts become things? "Man can form things in his thought and can cause the thing he thinks about to be created" so said Wallace Wattles. Have you ever thought that what you think mostly is what happens in most cases? Nothing can happen unless its first thought. Human mind is like an abadoned land.If cultivated well by implanting positive thoughts will yield good fruits. If otherwise, it will produce weeds. We are what we think about and we attract into our lives what we think about. When we know this, we know that we can create what we want, get what we want and become what we want to become by having a clear mental thought of it. It has been said that you cannot feature in a future whose picture you have not captured. Do exercise your mind by putting in positive thoughts. Have a positive day. |
I don't play bet but this season I have predicted 3 high profile games correctly with the right scores. I predicted the game between Arsenal and Tottenham correctly, Liverpool against Manchester United and now Tottenham against Chelsea. Honestly speaking, am not interested in betting but I can help you 2o win some dough by providing you with correct scores. I don't know if its just coincedental or its my understanding, but I have done it trice this season for 3 high profile matches. To contact me, text or call me on 07030340696 |
Most of us went to school for about 18 years or more and we were not paid a dime for graduating (except bursary that you will exhaust all your sweat before collecting and the paltry Allawi). The painful part is even after graduation, when everybody at home is waiting to eat the fruit of their labour we couldn not find a job. This is painful but its unfortunate. Am introducing to a school, Entreprenuership Through Information, (ETI) where you will learn the basic and fundamental skills needed in life to excel. I bet you that school doesn't teach us what we need to be successful in life. What school teaches us is how to be an employee. You can be your own boss and earn good income in this school provided you are willing to learn. N.B: This is not a get-rich-quick scheme, not a scam, an investment company. It is a school where you earn while you learn. For now am offering my course free as my corporate social responsibility. To know more, inbox me with your name, phone number and email to 07030340696 Or kazeemabolore@gmail.com. POOR is an acronym for Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly. Don't miss this opportunity! |
