They are really packaging this man for 2023. Let us keep observing.

Deepthoughts:
Take I or leave it, except rotational presidency becomes a law in this country, it's almost an impossibility for a northern Christian to become an elected president of Nigeria no matter how good they may be.
Northern Christians are facing tough time. See what they did to that Governor of Kaduna. They killed him and nothing happened. They even tried it in Taraba but he survived.

Deepthoughts:
I have heard this claim severally but I have no doubt that in critical situation tinubu n his likes will certainly side with their Muslim brothers, there is absolutely nothing wrong in their been Muslims but for the sake of peace, equity n inclusiveness the Christians should be ruling the country too.
If not for greed someone like David Mark or Jonah Jang for President would have been good. Let Christians from North feel among

Walelavender:
Two things. It is either Dogara will be gunning for the seat of the Governor in Bauchi state against Bala Muhammed in 2023 or he wants to be Vice President (as a Christian) to someone from the South & who is a Muslim.

That's how the political class roll

It can't be out of these two options, gaskiya cool
He is gunning for Governor. Bala Mohammed only won by 20k votes so Dogara wants to rush him in 2023. The talk of presidency is all politics. He will act as if he is interested, but will now step down to take the governorship ticket.
PoliticsRe: Walid Jibrin: Dogara’s Presidential Ambition Made Him Quit PDP by kbrisco: 1:49pm On Jul 28, 2020
Deepthoughts:
I'm a Christian minority from North Central, the Christians in the north are a minority n right now under serious threat from the Muslim majority,a Christian northerner becoming an elected president of Nigeria is like a mirage, some persons can only agree to be use as stooges for personal gains, it's painful that there is so much hate amongst the southern Christians if not nobody should be dreaming of a Tinubu hoping to succeed buhari, what is needed now is a Christian president of southern extraction who has the charisma, courage, experience, expertise, intellect n capacity to take charge of the country post buhari n act descisively with patriotism to reunite the country n put it firmly on the path of peace unity n sustainable development.
Most Yoruba people don't take Christianity or Islam seriously. It is just politics for them. Tinubu that is claiming to be Muslim do his children go to Mosque. Even the likes of Fashola are audio Muslims. To the Yoruba religion is not that critical, it is tribe that is the main thing.

llakes4real,

Kwara Emirate did not come from Sokoto by the way, its from Gwandu. Thats another topic for another day. grin
Isn't Governor Abdulrazak Abdulrahman a brother in-law to late Governor Lawal?

Charmingrascal:
Obviously you don't because if you truly knew your history you wouldn't counter him.
Ilorin belongs to the Yorubas.

It is on record that Mohammed Lawal wanted to stop emirate in Ilorin, he wanted an Oba reason why Sulu Gambari and other gambaris didn't support him.
He was killed.

One day one day Ilorin will go back to the rightful owner
But they said the current governor's sister was married to Mohammed Lawal. Is it true?

Haba Zulum is still alive grin
Zulum is nothing but audio. They are packaging him for 2023 with Igbo deputy as backup plan since El-Rufai is becoming too controversial. All this one he is giving money to Igbo teachers and hailing Igbo spare parts is all part of the packaging.

US is the best destination for anyone who desire to make it big. Yes, Europe, North America and probably Australia are what we should come to mind when we refer to abroad but in US come ahead of Canada any day. I'm a bit surprised at the obsession of young Nigeria with Canada these days. It is an nice place to be though with good welfare and facilities, but USA come ahead in big business and opportunities. You may travel to Canada and be satisty with all you need to live a meaningful life but the opportunity to make it big and send money home may not surface like the US. In US, the chance are there if you plan hussle and dream big. It is the headquarters of world capital.
With Canadian papers you can use TN Visa to work in America. Canada is just a back door to America.

Okay. In Nigeria, all corruption fighters end up being humiliated. From Nuhu Ribadu to the woman after him and up to this Magu. Corruption has several lives and it's a ruthless fighter. Even the Angels cannot fight corruption. Corruption always fights back an always wins. So, who loses? The masses of course.
Farida Waziri really suffered. I wonder why she won't just say what she passed through so that the masses will know.

I thought you heard she's not that bad.
Keep listening to those people,
And ask them why all the top party men and women have been frozen out of governance in Ondo state
But there are other first ladies that did worse oga. Florence Ajimobi did worse and her husband still did second term. I think people are being too harsh on her. We need to remember that Aketi waited for long before he entered government house so some initial gragra from her should be understandable.
PoliticsRe: Temitayo Oluwatuyi "Tukana" Appointed As Ondo New SSG by kbrisco: 4:48pm On Jul 06, 2020
xnsandrxns:
I'm very sure nobody said that
Because she's that bad
Her condescension is going to be his downfall
I've never heard any good report about her
What I have heard is that she is rocking the First Lady position but all first ladies do it. So why should people be so harsh on her to the point that Aketi must lose out?

Very funny huh
Aketi is going down
He's virtually in political isolation now
Aketi is just the husband of the governor of Ondo state
They said his wife is not that bad na. Haba

What of smaller portions?

Our ancestors ate swallow daily and lived to ripe old age
Remember that our ancestors would go to the farm. Walking just 20 kilometers will consume 2000 calories and you know how far farm is from the main house inside the village.

When they would get to the farm they would now carry cutlass and hoe and be working. That one is another 2000 calories.

Add the resting calorie consumption of 1600 just to keep your body working and we are already at 5600 calories per day.

This is why Africans all developed one swallow or another. They needed the carbohydrates because they were very active. In fact it was that physical labour that kept our ancestors healthy because that is 13 hours of cardio per day assuming they work from sunrise till sunset on the farm.

That level of cardio will keep someone fit to the core. Even if you go to the village today when people have bicycle and okada they can ride to farm you still see how fit people are.

The harsh truth is that unless you are farming or doing labourer job, swallow is one way ticket to obesity and diabetes.

Most people only need light eba that is the size of half of thier fist for a whole day especially office workers.
PoliticsRe: Before We Bury Tinubu; By Tunde Asaju by kbrisco: 7:22pm On Jul 05, 2020
ote author=Queseda post=91405123]When will Yorubas learn from history? Even as a non-Yoruba I always have this soft spot for them for their way of life growing up in the West, and married a Yoruba.
I noticed a trend that most of the anti-Tinubu posts are published by Igbos and some gullible Yorubas join them to say all manner of rubbish against one of the seasoned politicians we have in the country, a man who has stayed true to his principles and never engaged in political prostitution like most politicians in Nigeria.

The Igbos are known for bringing others down to toe the same path they once criticized. Look very well into past oh yee gullible Yorubas, during the 60s, the heads of government in other regions were assassinated but Igbos snitched and kept theirs.
The same pattern is emerging today, they criticize Tinubu for his 'alliance with the North' but didn't see anything wrong with Obi/Atiku ticket. Not forgetting their romance with Shagari in the 80s, Tofa won 3 out of 4 Igbo states in the 1992 Elections
They claim Tinubu is milking Lagos dry, yet same Lagos is their dream place of residence
They claim Tinubu is corrupt, but defend GEJ, Patience, Diezani, Dino, Atiku, Saraki, and the rest of them. You can't criticize Tinubu and defend these ones, that's sheer hypocrisy and double standards

I'm not saying Tinubu is a saint, no politician is, all I'm saying is that Yorubas should be ahead of this bad press and campaign of calumny against Tinubu from the East because there's absolutely no justification for it, other than their perceived Tinubu 2023 Presidential ambition which is at best mere speculations, and probably for sending Jonathan back to Otuoke.
You begin to wonder if Tinubu was at one time governor of the 5 Igbo states with the way he's constantly being mentioned even in matters that has absolutely nothing to do with him.
Lastly, Igbos are free to criticize whoever they want but it would be foolhardy for any Yoruba not to see the bigger picture and join them in rubbishing one of their most outstanding politicians in recent memory, taking into cognisance the events of the 60s
A word is enough for the wise[/quote]Nairaland post is very different from the real world. People posting here are in minority for now.

What I am saying is that igala domination has made the place to have igala spoken more there, I'm not talking about the aboriginals.
Well kogi state would have been a great state bc they have solid minerals but their tribal politics no follow with wicked and heartless igbiras too.. I famzy igala and okun anyway because I have stayed in those locations.. In fact I was initially posted to isanlu before I relocated after some weeks to ankpa.. I worded in Lokoja for months two and had things to do in okene too.. The okun and igalas are nice receptive people

I'm not trying to criticise igbiras but they're not nice people
I don't know why Igbiras are so wicked even to themselves.
