Politics › Re: Politicians Should Have Retirement Age. by kcjazz(m): 12:45pm On Sep 11, 2013
Voters in a democracy must be allowed to choose who they want to lead them without limitations.
With age sometimes comes great wisdom.

By the way, every ruling President of this nation have been between your suggested 30-65 age limit both military and civilian.

Age is nothing, good leadership is everything. We need good leaders irrespective of their age or whatever features.

One of the most naturally beautiful places in Nigeria. The hills in Lokoja are just breathtaking but the place is the same for the past 15 years. Not sure it is a state capital anymore cry Unbelievable neglect, it should be a crime for a state capital to suffer such decay.

The reason anyone has a right to criticise the government on education is why are we spending huge sums of money on UBE and yet millions of kids are out of school? UBE is good, who is keeping track or not?

Why is the civil service badly inefficient? Visit any ministry in Abuja and be freaked out.

I believe securing property rights will go a long way to solve poverty, reduce business cost and violence. It takes a lot of guts but the government is foot dragging. Why?

nateevs: So this in summary, is an acceptance that the 'promote from within' policy has failed. Let no Arsenal fan ever talk about Chelsea splashing again. Only £8m less than our record signing. One extreme to another.
Spend what you have. its not about Chelsea financial doping. No policy stays forever
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by kcjazz(m): 11:00am On Sep 03, 2013
Its amazing that by buying just one player the spirit of the fans have been lifted somewhat. We still did not spend more than last year or two years ago. Spend=42 million grin.

Implications.
1. Rosickys contract is up next year so with his age, contract might not be renewed.
2. Defenders not needed for a team that conceded 37 goals last term, second only to Manchester City with 34 goals.
3. Third best attack with 72 goals last term. Best Manchester United with 86, Chelsham with 75 and with a creator and the rotational play along the wings and center, the future looks good.
4. AWs contract to be renewed
5. Giroud has massively improved

Oh God please let this be true! God in heaven, please let it be true!! grin cheesy
sorry but your source is lying. Deal is done and dusted. Manchester United is trying to get Fellani apparently the agents dealing with Herreras club are fake and were not sent by United.

4llerbuntu: seriously?

wow.... other than the fact that he was a bit of an arsehole when he wanted to leave and he prolly ain't that good anymore......... . he is sha a signing.

Hey pls, guys who know how to track all these stats things, pls post the net transfer spend for arsenal in the last 3 years vs the CL group stage income arsenal made in the last 3 years.....

just heard some funny gist that the CL group stage income is what funds the transfers solely and thats why they dont spend until they confirm that the club will participate.

Been arguing that can't be accurate, the 5 Player Final day spend was about 40 million.....
Not true. AFC is a well run club. Spurs or Liverpool or even Stoke have spent more in the past 3 seasons even though they are not in CL. Plus you can buy a 100 million player today but the truth is the payment is installments. We stick with our strategy and as soon as incomes improve we open up the purse a little
Politics › Re: Nigerian Architects and their lack of creativity - Sheraton In CHINA by kcjazz(m): 7:48pm On Aug 19, 2013
Creativity doesn't have to be expensive.
We do not encourage creativity in our culture, schools or work. Yes clients might obstruct you but again I have seen Architects houses interior or exterior. Not impressed

Our education system plays a huge roll as well in our quality.

What is happening?
Arsenal bid for Yohann Cabaye earlier and tonight he is not on the team for Newcastle not even bench. Arsenal can register a player for Wednesday CL until Tuesday midnight.

Truth is AFCS transfer policy this summer has been incoherent. Good thing from yesterday is now there is a sense of urgency to do something. You would think with the relative easy fixtures transfers would have been concluded so we hit the ground running.

With desperation in the market, prices increase. Players coming will demand more cos now they will come as Superman. All this could have been avoided beforehand.

It is a crazy outcome either way. cry

proudlysports: Wha do you guys think of Flamini? He's been training with us for weeks now and at this point, though Ive not seen him play in years, I wouldn't mind loaning him for the season (if its the same Flamini we used to know).

Its not looking good in terms of playing staff and fixtures. We play Villa tomorrow, Fenerbache during the week, Fulham away next weekend, Fernerbache days later and Spurs after that. With no defender on the bench, even if we bring in new players between now and 1st of Sept, it would be really hard to cope.
God forbid one or two of our CBs get injured/carded on Saturday. We may have to play Ji Sun Park as a CB

Mert will be captain tomorrow in the absence of TV5 and Arteta
I believe they will rush through a fire buy before Tuesday. Flamin is a possibility. They need a short term feller as DM.

But why is no one asking for Flamini if he is still that good?
Family › Re: Will The Truth Really Set You Free? by kcjazz(m): 12:14pm On Aug 16, 2013
I have lived long enough to understand that at the end of the day, truth always comes out no matter how one hides it.

Then there is the HIV, herpes scare so she can hide it but science won't. grin

Will I forgive a cheating wife who confesses? Yes
Will I trust her? That depends on her choices, does she understand her mistake? Is there a willingness to get help? Is the other guy better? Trust governs future behaviour.

Hiding anything affects you spiritually, physically and psychologically. Yes the truth sets you free.

Politics › Re: The raging war Between Capital And Recurrent Expenditure by kcjazz(m): 12:38pm On Aug 14, 2013
The answer is for govt to get smaller and more efficient. Due to high unemployment rates govt picks the slack by employing civil servants.

So create a better busines climate. For high earning senators explore tje reduction of labour hours to save costs. Reduce double appointments and agencies. For instance i dont understand the diff between Doyin and Abati
Politics › Re: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway And The Churches - Joe Igbokwe by kcjazz(m): 8:08pm On Aug 13, 2013
I blame town planning officials. The only part church comes in is the fact that there is a need for property tax to be paid by non profits using places of importance cos it requires more police, road safety and lasma to control the traffic.

Someone mentioned Deeper life in Gbagada and that is so true, it shouldn't be there but where are the town planner people to enforce?

Meanwhile Awolowo road, Falomo Shopping Complex is been dismantled to make room for a mall shocked. The road is already busy as it is now adding a mall will be a huge traffic disaster, I hope town planning has a plan.

proudlysports: Earlier, the PFA said

Later on Gordon Taylor of the PFA added this:

The Guardian who ran the exclusive Suarez' interview today will report in tomorrow's paper which claims that Luis Suarez will be told to train away from the Liverpool squad
Daily Star will also report that Arsenal will bid 51million pounds for Suarez

If true, I don't know how to place it. Arsenal spending 51 million on a player..as in ONE player..wow
To me everything hinges on Real Madrid/Bale movement. Aside that Suarez is a time bomb and would bring disorder to Liverpool if they keep him. Whether AFC will bid that high, frankly I am not sure but who else out there if we miss out on him.

Meanwhile, I hear there is trouble at Anzhi, Russian money don finish so Etoo might be available, they are clearing out after sacking their coach. That guy is the only striker out there if all else fails lol grin.
AFC Board really want to make a big signing happen but Liverpool dey vex tongue

Family › Re: Is It Ok For Homesexuals To Raise Kids by kcjazz(m): 2:48pm On Aug 06, 2013
No.
If two adults make a decision to engage in a sterile Co existence Then it is selfishness to raise kids from heterosexuals.
Using statistics to justify it makes it even crazier, I have never seen a president, athlete, actor, pastor or any successful good individual raised by them. Hence the results of any of those is propaganda. Raising children is not about growth, street kids grow without parents.
Family › Re: When Is The Right Time To Talk To Kids About SEX? by kcjazz(m): 7:56pm On Aug 02, 2013
The world is so bad. As early as age 6, kids should know about sexuality. The goal is to be ahead of television, cartoon, house girl, driver or even Yerima tongue; the earlier the better.

Sports › Re: Ikpeba & Adepoju Differ On Oboabona's Arsenal Trial Request by kcjazz(m): 4:06pm On Aug 01, 2013
Football clubs in this era do not buy players based on National Team performance anymore. It is that simple.

The problem is we don't have videos to analyze players for our league, no data to see if they fit into a system. Oboabona going on trial is to help achieve that nothing more.
Agents link Arsenal to players so that clubs might take a look, by answering the call he would have attracted other teams even if he fails at Arsenal. Sanogo or most young European or South American players are not called for Trials because data is readily available. Arsene doesn't sign players by hearsay, they look at data first before anything else.

For details about data in sports watch the movie Moneyball.
Family › Re: How Open Should One Be In Marriage? by kcjazz(m): 11:00pm On Jul 31, 2013
Openness in marriage communication is about wisdom, discernment and responsibility. Wisdom to know the right time to ask/talk. Discernment to understand your partner's response. Responsibility to understand the consequence of your actions. If biblical Abraham was open to Sarah he wouldn't have taken their only son for sacrifice. No mother will allow that.
