Compliments of the season everyone. Has anyone scaled through the assessment centre phase for the management trainee program? Need information. Please |
has anyone gotten any update after the assessment centre?? |
Has anyone from Delta gotten the call? |
Onyiridike:|Of All the comments here today, this is by far the most positive one yet....... I tap into your faith my senior colleague...... this will all end in praise |
Patology:When did your portal become inassessible? |
I appeal to everybody to please be of good cheer. Marvel said this on the first of July that some stakeholder candidates already had their letters. Howbeit a very small number. Tho this is a very improper way of doing things, it's the country we all find ourselves in. However, this is not the end for us hopefuls. DPR is still yet to officially contact successful candidates, knowing that some of the stakeholder candidates already told people about their letters, they will contact other candidates officially via text or email. That I am certain of. Grace to us all |
lool.... very funny.... the mode of communication won't be by calls, that I am sure of. If we look at it from this angle, what would be the proof that we were contacted by DPR if we got to the zonal offices to get our APLs... Calls alone are not a sufficient proof... My opinion would be that they would send SMS or emails, referring us to the portal to get a printout that we would take to the Zonal offices for documentation... My opinion tho |
WOOW So today is finally the D-DAY, God I thank you for life, health, provision and protection... My Day of JOY and a new beginning is finally here... Thank You JESUS ![]() |
naijainstinct:No ooo. U the one misinterpreting what I said. What I was telling you was simple, stakeholders won't determine majority of the names that will make the final callup, mine included. Besides, the president is the biggest stakeholder in this case, so if people from Delta should be worried, imagine how it would be like for Candidates from his excellency's state. Not that it matters too |
...... |
michaelismenten:PM me instead |
naijainstinct:Don't believe such nonsense. Stakeholders don't determine my fate. God does and his words are yea and amen ![]() |
michaelismenten:Tell me yours first ![]() |
Any deltan in the house?? |
makonko:You omitted the part which says "and subsequent stages of the recruitment exercise" This statement, if it was drafted by the DPR goes to show that the portal will still be used for the later stages of this recruitment |
Licht:Trust me, when shove comes to push, it will become a criteria. for those that were asked about their masters, it was because they provided that information on their portal. if you were in human resource and you had two candidates to access, both scored the same in the aptitude test and interview, and they were also both high. If you had to pick one candidate, what would you do? In my own opinion, apart from Gods grace, the interview and the aptitude test score, some other factors will definitely affect the fate of a lot of candidates. if you saw the way DPR went about that documentation on interview day, you should realize by now that the status of a candidates documentation will ultimately affect the candidate's chances of success in this exercise |
Smartgrid:Thanks for the consistent info bro. This is indeed an indicator that the list is still being put together. Nothing has been cast on stone yet Thanks once again for the info. |
kanayoboy:I love the way you contradicted yourself just now. The FCC is not supposed to know when DPR contacts successful candidates. what they are supposed to do is double check and see if DPR carried out the recruitment process in the manner it ought to be carried. |
HA HA HA Relax Everyone. DPR has not called anyone. As a matter of fact they wont call any candidate to verify information that they thoroughly verified during the Interview phase. If memory serves me right, that verification stage was indeed thorough, they asked for all the documents that mattered and those with incomplete and complete documents had the status of their documentation documented against their names and their reference numbers. Secondly, if any body in the FG is to verify the transparency of this recruitment exercise, it would be the job of the FCC not the DPR. Besides, the DPR even sent update mails to some candidates twice and also even went to the length of closing a lot of people's portal for good prior to the interview. The question the smart ones should be asking is why the DPR would go through all that stress? when it would be much more easier calling the successful candidates and sending SMS or emails to come for thieir interview in the respective locations nationwide. The answer is simple, any formal communication from DPR will come through emails, SMS and the portal, as it has been since the day we were all invited for the CBT. Thats my take. God speed. |
Smartgrid:Thanks Bro. JESUS, in you I put my trust |
Smartgrid:Thanks for the info bro. Are we also to expect any updates from the portal as email begin to roll in? I'm asking because DPR in times past have made use of email, text and PORTAL to reach out to candidates. Secondly, when the APLs are to be collected, will DPR also need a form of verification from candidates which may come in the form of a print out from the portal? |
xxkape:With all due respect Sir, all you are saying at this point is mere speculation. DPR is under the ministry of petroleum resources, which is currently under President Buhari. The Director of petroleum resources only answers to the President, and the senate committee with respect to regulating the oil and gas sector. The senators in that list are barely a handful. Besides it is not every senator in Nigeria that will have the power to influence what happens within the DPR, to be more precise, most don't. Governors do not have any business with the DPR, which is a federal regulatory body. If for instance, a governor wanted to put his candidate on that list, he or she can only achieve this if they have a strong relationship with the DPR director or If they know a senator in the petroleum regulatory committee that can convince the director to put their candidates in the list. Even at that, chances of a governor putting their candidates on that list might be next to zero If what you were saying holds water, trust me, there wouldn't even have been a recruitment process to start with in the first place. Secondly, the DPR director has also done his best to ensure that the process was not compromised from the onset, this was why people were invited almost a year after the online applications were completed. |
The month is indeed ripe with expectation, the finish line is in sight. May God grant all who put their trust in him (Me included) favor and success with respect to this recruitment exercise. In JESUS name. Amen!!! |
siina:Story!!! Where you there when they called all 700 of them? |
Amr1:May I remind you of the fact that some people missed their interview appointment waiting for a call, email or text from DPR that never came? |
This is my take on how DPR might contact successful candidates. 1. The OND chaps are not as much as the BSC chaps in number, so calling successful OND candidates would not be very stressful for them to do. 2. The OND candidates did not have a recruitment portal put in place for their recruitment so the only possible way to contact the candidates about the process of their application would probably be by calls, emails or SMS. 3. As for the BSC and HND chaps, the major medium of communication would be VIA the portal. If you recall the process of the interview invite, we were just too much for DPR to send emails to all of us, so it was just a matter of DPR disabling portals of candidates that they were not interested in. 4. Finally, when DPR start reaching out to BSC candidates, an invite to be printed from our respective portals may be required in order to pick up our APLs. That way, DPR can efficiently keep track of who they invited to pick APLs. In all, just keep in mind the fact that, the mode of communication DPR used to contact OND candidates will be different from how they will contact BSC candidates. I wish everyone, including myself the very best in this process. God Speed. |
Good evening guys. Something actually bothers me about this recruitment. As we know, DPR has already called the OND guys about their APLs yet, no one knows how they were contacted, be it by phone or by the portal. Secondly DPR did not publish any list of successful candidates to that effect, the way other government establishments do. Won't this be the same case for the BSC chaps as well ?? |
The question no one here is asking is if a list was published for the OND/HND peeps that were given APLs. Or does DPR not publish the list of successful candidates anymore? |
Lescalier:Has any list been published to this effect? |
