They've taken away the money Bello wants to use to vie for president. No more presidential bid! |
drizslim:There's nothing wonderful about those questions. They could easily be solved using nodal analysis. The fact that the students complained so much about the questions, and the lecturer even wrote about "questions he could not solve", shows that the students were not taught well at all. |
excellence44:Don't exclude Soludo, the chief economist. The speed with which Babangida congratulated him for winning Anambra governorship election shows that Babangida is interested in him. |
Eriokanmi:You are right about Osinbajo. The time he came to UNIZIK Awka, everybody was surprised when he called the Director of Works by his personal name and declared that they were room mates in the university. They hugged each other. If the president is to come from the South West, Osinbajo is actually the best candidate. |

EmmyCC:The funny thing is that everything weitten in this post also applies to Anambra State. Anambra State doesn't have any unit called water board; in fact, Anambra State government is not concerned about water at all. The state is just fortunate that grouhd water is easily accessible almost everywhere. Enugu State is less fortunate because most of it's terrain sit on hills (enu ugwu). Roads in Anambra State don't speak well about the governor at all. Anambra Teaching Hospital is not so spoken well of. |
Iceman2017:You hit the nail on the head. |
You can rise up to the level at which Jesus Christ operated during his earthly ministry Jn. 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. Jesus Christ said, “Anyone”, not select few. Why has the fulfillment of this word of Jesus Christ been so rare all through history? Apparently, it was just a prophecy, something that is bound to happen in the future; still future to we people of today? Ro. 9:3 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, those of my own race, Ro. 9:4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Ro. 11:1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. Ro. 11:15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? Ro. 11:16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. Adoption as sons, the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises of God, all belong to Israel (of old). Gentiles partake in these things only by being grafted into Israel. It is only after Israel has been established in these things that gentiles could be established in them through Israel. If Israel is not established in them, then they do not even exist in the world. God never deviates from His covenant. Ge. 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Ge. 17:18 And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!” Ge. 17:19 Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. Ge. 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. Ge. 17:21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year.” Ro. 11:16 says that it is only after the firstfruits of Israel (the 144,000 Israelites—Re. 7:3-8, 14:1-5) have become holy that people from all over the world could become holy. It is only then that Jn. 14:12 could be fulfilled in the lives of many—the manifestation of the sons of God (Ro. 8:19). The 144,000 Israelites are about to arise. I know this because God made me to know that I am one of them, and recently I discovered the principle of holiness. You can read the principle of holiness at the following links. Begin now to purify yourself, so that as soon as the 144,000 Israelites arise, you will rise up with them. https://www.nairaland.com/6842228/transforming-into-likeness-ever-increasing-glory https://www.pdf-archive.com/2021/11/10/transforming-into-his-likeness-with-ever/transforming-into-his-likeness-with-ever.pdf |
God’s commandments Ex. 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me. Ex. 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. Ex. 20:7 “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. Ex. 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Ex. 20:12 “Honour your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Ex. 20:13 “You shall not murder. Ex. 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery. Ex. 20:15 “You shall not steal. Ex. 20:16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Ex. 20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” Mt. 22:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Mt. 22:37 Jesus replied: “`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ [Deut. 6:5] Mt. 22:38 This is the first and greatest commandment. Mt. 22:39 And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Mt. 22:40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Lk. 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. |
The narrow road that leads to eternal life Mt. 6:22 (KJV) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. The only way for a born-again Christian to be able to see and follow the narrow road that leads to eternal life is if s/he has one purpose that dominates every other purpose in her/his life. That purpose must be to transform into the likeness of God with ever-increasing glory. We have already seen that the only way to transform into the likeness of God is by continually gazing on His Spirit. Jn. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jn. 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. Words of God are spirit and they are life and they are God. Anyone who focuses adequately on words of God increases in divine life or glory of God. Words of God can be classified into two: His commands and His promises. The commands take pre-eminence because they open the door for the promises to be fulfilled. Focus on the commands purifies from sins, thereby enabling the glory of God to come in. Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Ro. 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. The narrow road that leads to eternal life involves knowing and loving the commandments and promises of God in your heart and then speaking them out with your mouth, as words of faith. Following is an example of how I speak out God’s commandment while I am praying, through faith. “By your grace, holy Father God, through the wounds that the lord Jesus Christ suffered for our redemption on the cross (Ro. 3:24), I shall be holy as you the heavenly Father are holy (Mt. 5:48). I will always love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength (Mt. 22:37). I shall love my neighbor as I love myself (Mt. 22:39). In the name of Jesus Christ.” Ph. 2:13 For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. Is. 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, Is. 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. God never expected human beings that are not yet free from sin to be able to keep his commandments. His design is that His Holy Spirit will work in man and make man to will and to act according to His will. But that can only happen if man is willing to bring the Spirit of God into His being. Words of God are spirit. Anyone who fills her/his heart with words of God and speaks out those same words is bringing the Holy Spirit into her/his being. In Jn. 3:34, Jesus says that God gives His Spirit without limit to the one who speaks words of God. In Is. 55:11, God says that His word will accomplish the purpose for which He sent it in the person that sends it back to Him. Speaking out God’s words is sending God’s words back to Him. |
The redemption of man He. 10:5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me. Sacrifices and offerings could not make Adam and his human race to become like a new wineskin. In order for Christ, or the anointing or the Holy Spirit or the glory of God, to come into the mankind, God had to make a new wineskin, a new Adam, a new man, so that the glory of God could enter a new wineskin. The new man is Jesus Christ. Ro. 3:25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. God presented Jesus Christ as a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of the old Adam. Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement is able to cover every descendant of the old Adam because he is an Adam, a new human race in the making. It is like a human race dying as a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of another human race. Since the new Adam died in obedience to the will of God and not due to sin, God restored his life and highly exalted him (Ph. 2:9). We now have two Adams; the old and the new. Just like the old Adam, the new Adam started out without any branches. God brought the new Adam into the world not to develop his own branches, but rather to save the branches of the old Adam Jn. 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. In Mt. 13:31-32 Jesus described the old Adam as being like a mustard seed that God planted in the world, who became a mighty tree with numerous branches, but birds of the air (evil spirits) lodge in those branches. In Jn. 15:5, Jesus portrayed himself as being like a vine tree and his followers as the branches of that tree. But how do branches of the old Adam become branches of the new Adam? Ro. 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Water baptism into the name of Jesus Christ unites a person, by faith, with the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, so that Jesus’ death becomes the person’s death (2 Co. 5:14). Through this act of faith, the person dies to the old Adam and is baptized into the new Adam, Jesus Christ. Ro. 7:2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. Ro. 7:3 So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress, even though she marries another man. Ro. 7:4 So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. Having been baptized into Jesus Christ in water, the person is qualified to receive the Holy Spirit. All it takes is prayer (Lk. 11:13). The prayer is better done by the person who administered the water baptism. Mt. 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. Mt. 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Being born of water and the Spirit (Jn. 3:5) is just entering the narrow gate of Mt. 7:13. There is still a very long journey ahead. The purpose of this journey is to transform into the likeness of God. In order to transform into the likeness of God, one has to walk on a narrow road, which anyone who walks on it continually transforms towards the likeness of God with ever-increasing glory. As usual, since Satan hates and fights against any human being transforming into the likeness of God, he presents an alternative alluring broad road, which leads anyone that follows it to destruction. Unfortunately, most born-again people follow the broad road and very few find the narrow road. |
2Co. 3:18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Ps. 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. The secret to becoming like God is to continually gaze on Him. The big question then is, where can we find God so that we could gaze on Him and thereby transform into His likeness? 2 Co. 3:18 suggests that we should gaze on His Spirit. No human being can get near enough to God to gaze on Him. Thankfully, He is located far away in heaven. But we can gaze on His Spirit. Ge. 3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Ge. 3:9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” Ge. 3:10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” In the days when mankind dwelt in the Garden of God, man and God used to see face to face. You can imagine the impact of such face-to-face meetings on man. Man continually transformed towards exact image of God. But Satan was not happy with such state of affairs. He therefore deceived man into sinning. As soon as sin entered man, man could no longer behold the presence of God. Sin separated man from God and the likeness of God in man began to decay. Mt. 9:16 “No-one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Mt. 9:17 Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” The human race that came out of Adam is the old wineskin. The old wineskin was ruined by sin. The new wine is the Holy Spirit or glory of God. God can only pour His new wine into a new wineskin. |
From the beginning, it was always either Soludo or Maduka. PDP sidelined Maduka and it automatically fell to Soludo. |
modsfucker:Did you say propaganda? Gunshots are still ongoing in Awka right now. |
RisenJoe:People involved in this kind of situation are usually wise to not allow the curse to continue in the bloodline. My late father told me about a man that I knew in my kindred. The man slapped his father and his father apparently cursed him. In his old age, one day he publicly annoyed his firstborn son and his firstborn son slapped him. The man simply said, "That is how we go." He didn't place any curse on his son, because he knew why the son had to slap him publicly. |

https://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message4939606/reply90313210Crossing the Jordan RiverI read what you wrote and listened to what you said. You are mightily blessed. Once the fountain of living water comes down, judgment will begin in the house of God, just like it happened in the case of Ananias and Saphira. It will not be church as usual. There will be great falling away (2Th. 2:3). |
Crossing the Jordan River After the Israelites drank water from the rock, they began the final push to the Promised Land. They met a lot challenges in the form of wars, seduction by Moabite women that led to indulgence in sexual immorality and idol worship, and plague. When they got close to the River Jordan, Moses handed over to Joshua and died. The 144,000 Israelites form the end-time Moses that will lead the people of God to the time of rapture. Their leadership of the people of God will end before the rapture, at the resurrection. They thus hand over the people of God to Joshua (Jesus) by the resurrection. The rapture will take place shortly after the resurrection. The 144,000 will not participate in the rapture. They are the woman of Revelation 12. In July 1999, I saw in a dream that I will be alive in this world at the second coming of Jesus Christ. In October 2001, I saw in a dream where the Antichrist came into the city in which I resided, to personally capture me, because I was a big problem to him. I began to escape (Re. 12:6) and woke up. I know that I am a member of the 144,000 Israelites. |
Living Water Nu. 20:2 Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. Nu. 20:3 They quarrelled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD! Nu. 20:4 Why did you bring the LORD’s community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here? Nu. 20:5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!” Nu. 20:6 Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell face down, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them. Nu. 20:7 The LORD said to Moses, Nu. 20:8 “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that they and their livestock can drink.” Even though Moses did not follow God’s instruction in bringing out water from the rock, drinking water from the rock was the beginning of the final push to the Promised Land. It is a pattern of the beginning of biblical end time. Jn. 7:37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Jn. 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” Jn. 7:39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. In Jn. 7:37, Jesus is talking about the antitype of drinking water from the rock. Only those who believe in Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement can drink the living water. Does the fact that Jesus made the statement of Jn. 7:37 imply that God’s end-time fountain of living water will come down on the last great day of the Feast of Tabernacles of some year? It is very possible, but I am not really sure. Whenever God’s fountain of living water comes down will coincide with the opening of the first seal of Revelation 6. The great historian, Titus Flavius Josephus (37 – 100 AD), in “Antiquities of the Jews”, Book 3, Section 10, verse 4, as follows. 4. But on the fifteenth day of the same month, when the season of the year is changing for winter, the law enjoins us to pitch tabernacles in every one of our houses; but so that we preserve ourselves from the cold of that time of the year. This places the timing of the Feast of Tabernacles in November to December. If biblical end time begins this year, God’s fountain of living water will come down in November. Re. 14:1 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. Re. 14:2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. The 144,000 Israelites will arise when God’s fountain of living water arrives. Incidentally, one YouTube video says that rapture of the 144,000 (Re. 14:1) will be in November 2021. This is also the time of the opening of the first seal. The second seal will then be opened in December. One YouTube video describes a dream that implies war at Christmas time. |
How to cleanse by washing with water through the word Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. Jn. 15:3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. As we can see in Nu. 19:9, purification from sin is accomplished by washing with heifer’s ash solution; that is, a combination of water and sacrifice of atonement. Water in Nu. 19:9 is a type of God’s word (Jn. 15:3). We know that the real purpose of water of purification in front of the ancient temple in Jerusalem was to prevent the outbreak of epidemic. Worshippers came from all over Israel and even from foreign countries, to the temple (Ac. 2:5). Chances were very high that epidemic could break out from such a gathering. The ashes of the heifer has some antimicrobial properties, such that washing with its solution disinfected the human body, thereby preventing epidemic. Washing with water alone cannot prevent an epidemic. Nu. 19:9 says that disinfecting the human body by washing with red heifer’s solution is a type of purification from sin. Just as washing with water alone does not disinfect the human body, in the same way, speaking God’s word alone does not purify a human heart from sin. Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement must be combined with speaking God’s word for purification. Ro. 3:21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. Ro. 3:22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, Ro. 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Ro. 3:24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. For example, consider this command of God: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. [Deut. 6:5] How can a human being always perfectly obey this command? God told Joshua that the way to do it is that the command should never depart from the mouth and the heart (Jo. 1: . Jesus said that God gives the Spirit without limit to any person that continually speaks God’s words (Jn. 3:34). The big problem now is, is the person qualified to receive the Holy Spirit of God without limit? This is where Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement comes in to help.During my prayers, I usually pray in the following manner. “By your grace, the Most High God, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Ro. 3:24), I shall be holy as you our heavenly Father are holy. I will always love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength and I shall love my neighbor as I love myself. I shall enter your kingdom of heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ.” In this manner of prayer, I agree with God’s commandment through my confession and declare that I will obey the command by the grace of God through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. It is God who works in us to will and to act according to His good purpose (Ph. 2:13). This manner of prayer transforms a person towards holiness. |
Getting ready to make the final push to the Promised Land Nu. 19:1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron: Nu. 19:2 “This is a requirement of the law that the LORD has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke. Nu. 19:3 Give it to Eleazar the priest; it is to be taken outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. Nu. 19:4 Then Eleazar the priest is to take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times towards the front of the Tent of Meeting. Nu. 19:5 While he watches, the heifer is to be burned — its hide, flesh, blood and offal. Nu. 19:6 The priest is to take some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet wool and throw them onto the burning heifer. Nu. 19:9 “A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and put them in a ceremonially clean place outside the camp. They shall be kept by the Israelite community for use in the water of cleansing; it is for purification from sin. In Numbers 19, God gave a command that would make the Israelites to get ready for the final push to the Promised Land. Before Numbers 19, the Israelites were just aimlessly wandering in the desert, for about thirty-seven years. Ep. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her Ep. 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, Ep. 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. Just as the red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke was slaughtered outside the camp for purification of the temple and cleansing of the people from sins, in the same way, Jesus Christ Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. He. 13:11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. He. 13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Sprinkling of blood towards the front of the tent of meeting started right from when the tent of meeting came into existence, but using the ashes of the heifer in the water of cleansing was instituted by God about thirteen months to crossing the River Jordan. In Ep. 5:26, we see that cleansing by washing with water through the word must precede the rapture. Ep. 5:27 describes the rapture. |
1Co. 10:1 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. 1Co. 10:2 They were all baptised into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 1Co. 10:3 They all ate the same spiritual food 1Co. 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 1Co. 10:5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert. 1Co. 10:6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 1Co. 10:7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry.” 1Co. 10:8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did — and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 1Co. 10:9 We should not test the Lord, as some of them did — and were killed by snakes. 1Co. 10:10 And do not grumble, as some of them did — and were killed by the destroying angel. 1Co. 10:11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfilment of the ages has come. The movement of Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land is a pattern of the transformation of a human beings from mortal to immortality, which culminates in the rapture. The last thirteen months of the movement of ancient Israelites to the Promised Land is particularly instructive for today’s people of God, who are the generation on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. |

Summary Nigeria is unlikely to recover in the short term. With focused leadership in 2023, full socio-economic recovery may be 8 – 10 years away. Population continues to grow, prosperity falling, gap between the rich and poor widening, and middle class is disappearing. As demand for tertiary education grows, the Federal Government will increasingly fail to sustain the sector with a bulging funding backlog. The burden of meeting the nation’s tertiary education needs will increasingly fall on the state and private universities Two key issues for Nigerian universities: generating knowledge and the funding challenge. Elsewhere, some 85% of leadership time is for advancing academics. Separated, but not divorced, both issues. Since most States rely on petroleum sustained federal statutory allocations, , the financial capacity of most States is also limited. Given the fast emergence of private universities, many will succeed but others may fail depending on their foresight and adaptability. Most students now opt for the federal, state, and private university in that order. This will change due to fee levels, social standards, and graduate quality. Fees will remain an issue for the private university. This should be addressed through endowments, IGR and innovative cost management. Technology, innovation and virtual learning can only be ignored at the peril of the institution and, indeed, all organizations. |
The Future of the University . . . . Happening Now! Completely smart, technology-driven virtual learning will increase access to education. A Perspective on Today’s Nigerian University ”Most of the courses taught in Nigeria’s universities have expired. Not only have they expired, they are not relevant to Nigeria’s development. They are a waste of time and money. If we do not modernize our educational system, we will never be a modern progressive nation. If you study a four-year course that will have no bearing on your future job or business (which is 60% of the courses in our unis), you are better off learning a relevant skill in 6 months. In the four years you’d have wasted at the university you’d have progressed to where you can employ one of those irrelevant graduates as a P.A.” . . . . Reno Omokri, Human Rights Activist & Lawyer |
