Well let's leave that. I just want advice, that's why I am here.am currently squatting with my elder brother and his fiance in a room and palor self con. They are getting married by December. I have alot of burden to them, they don't need to tell me I know. But what will a man do. I forgot to add am 27 years old. I studied mechanical engineering (HND). My hands are really tied right now. I left a crazy job(30k/months) that I was using to sustain my self. Don't judge me, am not lazy. I left because of security reasons. Plus It was a slave kind of work. Presently am hooked. I don't know where and what to do. I currently don't have up to 5k in my account self. As I no gree do yahoo aka jazz. Na wetin my eyes dey see be this.

...any way my gist is getting to long. There is an man that has always been a father to me. He helped me through school. I really thank him. As in he has done alot. The man just like me for no reason.and has been helping me since I was young. Anyway he called me and then after explaining to him how things has been for him.

He called again after a month. He said he has a deal for me.

The deal is that, he wants to sponsor me to go to canada. I forgot to add, he stays in Austria. Him and his family. So the deal is about 2.5 million naira, so he said he going to work everything for me that includes international passport,visa, airplane ticket, accommodation and also the package includes work also. but the deal is that. He will pay about. 850k. To get me there first. Then when am there and have started working I'll pay 1.8 million to the agency $4k.

So that's the deal. The 850k he is just using that to help me.actually he himself he paying 650k to the agency and giving me 200k as pocket money. Then when I get there I can work and give the agency the remaining 1.85 million.

So please guys, what to do you think. My fears is going to a country I don't know anyone at all, there is so much risk involved canada far o and will I be able to pay up the money. I don't want to owe gbese that I can't pay back.

I advise you to take the deal, since it comes from a man who loves you. If General Napoleon's soldiers could jump into certain death as a way of showing loyalty to him, how could you spurn a deal being preented to you by someone who raised you to a level where you could go to Canada and work. The agency would not accept to go with the deal if they do not believe that you could earn enough money to pay them the $4000. I strongly advise you to trust someone who has been so helpful to you. If you distrust him now, you have permanently cut off from him, and you will regret very badly. I am talking from experience, but I won't describe the experience here. If you can't trust someone who obviously loves you, who then would you trust? He just wants to save you. He hasn't asked you to come to Austria, so that you could fear that his plan may be to use or enslave you, Rather, he is helping you to go to far away Canada, where you could work out your own life, just as he worked out his life in Austria.

You cannot believe what you don't understand. It is not a matter of belief, but of understanding. Jesus is the son of God, not in the biological sense. God is a spirit and so has nothing to do with biology. Being a son of God simply means that the person has the divine assence or Holy Spirit in him. The person possesses the nature of God.

I meet this lady during COVID-19 pandemic period which was last year May 2020. She is still a student in a reputable University here in Nigeria, 300Level to be precise. She is 25years old.
She has insisted that until she finishes her school, gone for service and do what ladies call "Sisi" for at least another one year, she won't get married. That will be about 4years to this time.

I am in my mid 30s already, working class, earn below #70k per month, also into IT business, willing to get married now because I feel lonely, also need to build a family of my own before I turn 40yrs.

This lady in question appears to show me love, that's to her own way, my orientation is a bit different, I love her too anyways.

But would you advice I wait for her till she is done with all she has said or should I leave her and look for someone else to get married to?

Isn't that a way to tell you that she is not interested in marrying you? If she had ended at "until she finishes schooling", there is hope. But adding NYSC plus some time to do sisi simply means that she is not interested in marrying you.

In seeking Him in this regard, I heard the Lord say that He has moved further away to encourage His people to wake up and draw closer to Him. It is time to awaken; these are the times of the Great Falling Away. We need to run to Him and seek Him in earnest.

Present her to himself as a radiant church

This is the rapture. Only Christians who successfully rise up to perfection can make the rapture from the land of the living. At the time of the rapture, they are holy and blameless.

Cleansing her by the washing with water through the word

The second stage in the process that leads to rapture from the land of the living is rising up to perfection (holiness). Jesus Christ cleanses members of his Church by washing them with water (Holy Spirit) through the word. Jesus Christ does the cleansing, but where does the Christian come in to work out her/his salvation with fear and trembling? It has to do with what the Christian does with words of God.

Is. 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
Is. 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

God has sent His words to mankind. Jesus Christ needs those words in order to cleanse members of his Church and thereby make them perfect. He can only do the cleansing if his people send God’s words back to God. According to Is. 55:11, in the process of sending God’s words back to God, those words must accomplish the purposes for which God sent them. That is a spiritual law.

How does one send God’s words back to God? The best form of prayer is prayer that is all about sending God’s words back to Him. People are fond of speaking their own words to God in the name of prayer. The result has been that more than 99 percent of people’s prayer have no effect. People need to come to the realization that man’s words carry no weight. That is why prayers based on speaking man’s words to God are hardly effective.

Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

As a person speaks God’s words, God responds by giving the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit fulfills God’s words in the life of the person. Following is example of how I send God’s words back to Him during prayer.

Praise be to you Holy Father God, for you work in me to will and to act according to your good purpose (). By your grace O God, I shall be holy as you our heavenly Father are holy. In the name of Jesus Christ.

By your grace, glorious Father, I shall always love you with all my heart and with all my strength, and I shall always love my neighbor as I love myself. In the name of Jesus Christ.


By your grace, Holy Father God, I shall cast out demons. I shall speak languages that I never learnt before. I shall lay my hand on the sick and the sick shall recover. Even though I drink any deadly poison, it shall not hurt me at all. In the name of Jesus Christ.

Christ died for the Church

1Co. 15:3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.

Ac. 2:37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Ac. 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Ro. 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death?

Ro. 6:5 If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

Jesus Christ died for all mankind. The purpose of that death is so that we could unite with him in his death and thereby die to Adam and his marriage to sin and be grafted into the new man, Jesus Christ. It is only those who submit themselves for baptism into Jesus Christ, in water, that are actually redeemed by the blood of Jesus. They are qualified to receive the Holy Spirit.

Ep. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
Ep. 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
Ep. 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Ep. 5:22-31 addresses the relationship between husbands and wives in a Christian marriage. However, within this description of how husbands and wives should relate, the process a person must go through in order to make the rapture from the land of the living is sandwiched. The process has three stages, described in verses 25, 26 and 27. These three verses show that it is Jesus Christ who does all the work required in the three stages; they are silent on the role played by the members of the Church. This seems to agree with “saved by grace and not by works”. However, Ph. 2:12 says that followers of Jesus Christ should work out their salvation with fear and trembling.

How does working out salvation with fear and trembling relate to Ep. 5:25-27? I can illustrate it with an example. Yesterday, my youngest child was with my wife as she prepared some food that we would take to go and visit our son in boarding school. Suddenly, my youngest son cried out in pain and came over to me. He complained that pepper entered his eye. I immediately knew that I should apply water to that eye, so that the pepper could dissolve out of the eye. I got a plate and filled it with water and told my son to put his face in the water and open his eyes. He put his face in the water, but it was difficult for him to open the very eye that had the problem. Eventually, he managed to open his eyes. By the time he brought his face out of the water, the pain was gone. It could be said that I saved my son from that painful situation, but if he did not obey my command to put his face in the water and open his eyes, I couldn’t have saved him. His participation in the salvation process was critically important. He actually worked out his salvation, even though it was principally daddy’s work (grace) that saved him.

Christians have critical role to play in the actualization of Ep. 5:25-27. It is that role that separates those who will make the rapture from those who will not make it.

The flooding in the pictures has nothing to do with bad governance or bad roads. The truth is that no amoun of drainage can handle this level of flood. unless you create large canals all over Owerri. The problem simply has to do with the volume of rain that falls in Owerri, plus how flat the land of Owerri is. For example, I won't sart boasting that Awka is better off, because Awka is not as near the Ocean as Owerri and Awka is so hilly that it is so easy to channel off flood water through not so deep gutters.

Problem with Asaba is that there is a lot of flat land. Rain flood doesn't run off, but accumulates and stays for days. To the contrary, every part of Anambra, just across the Niger bridge, is slopy. People may complain about flood water in some parts of Awka, when it rains, but thirty minutes after the rain, the flood water is gone.

Are we then to also assume that animals are spiritual beings with souls, this since you concluded of your own that God giving the breath of life to Adam implied God made Adam a spiritual being with a soul ?

The Bible is a spiritual book and not a biological book. God is not a physical being, and so does not breathe oxygen or air. God is a spirit and so breathes spirit. When God speaks, He releases His spirit. He does not speak by sending sound waves.

Bearing Fruit

Jn. 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
Jn. 15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

Jn. 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Having joined the kingdom of God by receiving the Holy Spirit, your soul is just like a new born baby (born again) in the kingdom of God. Your soul needs to grow and become a functional member of the kingdom. No natural baby remains a baby for too long; in the same way, if your soul does not grow, it could die again. Your soul needs to feed regularly in order to grow. The only food that the soul eats is God’s word.

Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

In order to grow in the Spirit, build yourself up in knowledge of God’s commandments and promises. Then form the habit of always speaking out God’s words. As you do so, God continues to increase the measure of the Spirit in your soul. As you continue, it becomes easy for you to obey God’s commandments, because it is the Spirit that works in you to will and to act according to God’s purpose (Ph. 2:13). You begin to do miracles, because the Spirit in you releases the divine power when you speak. How easy it is for you to be holy and to do miracles depends on the measure of the Spirit in you, which in turn depends on how much of God’s word you feed your soul. That is the secret revealed by God to Joshua (Jo. 1:.

Let me give examples of speaking God’s words.

Ro. 3:24 And are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Mt. 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

“By your grace, O God, I shall be perfect, even as you, heavenly Father, are perfect.”

Mk. 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Mk. 16:18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

“By the grace of God, I shall cast out demons. I shall speak languages that I never learnt to speak. I shall pick up snakes with my hands and they shall not harm me. Even though I drink or eat deadly poison, it shall not hurt me at all. I shall place my hand on sick people, and they will get well. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”

The return of the Spirit

Jn. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jn. 1:2 He was with God in the beginning.
Jn. 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Jn. 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Jn. 1:9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

Mankind rejected the word of God and the glory of God departed from mankind. Even though God had continued to give His word to some worthy human beings all over history, His Spirit could not return to mankind because of sin living in mankind. Mankind was spiritually married to Satan and it is only death that could end the marriage.

Ro. 7:2 For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage.
Ro. 7:3 So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress, even though she marries another man.

Mt. 13:31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.
Mt. 13:32 Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

God planted a seed on earth when He breathed His Spirit into Adam. That single mustard seed has developed into a giant tree, currently with billions of branches. The sad truth though is that birds of the air (evil spirits) lodge in those branches. The whole of the human race is one Adam. The human race came out of one man. It was that one man that got married to Satan. Can you explain how it is that every people of this world has a history of idolatry?

Ro. 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

Adam was a pattern or type of the one to come.

Jn. 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
Jn. 15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

He. 10:5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.

When it was about time for Christ (Anointing) to get back into mankind, since the old Adam (the human race) was not qualified to be married to God, due to the already existing marriage to Satan, God prepared a new man (Adam) for His Spirit. We all know the story about how Virgin Mary was conceived by the Holy Spirit, which led to the birth of Jesus Christ. Later in his life, God breathed into Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit, just as He did to Adam in Ge. 2:7. Satan also contested over the soul of Jesus Christ (Mt. 4:1-11), just as he contested over the soul of Adam. The very location in the desert where Satan tempted Jesus may well be the same place where Adam was tested, which is why the land of Israel is God’s land (Garden). During Jesus’ trial by Satan, Jesus held on to God’s words, and by so doing, he fed his soul so much with the fruit of the tree of life. His soul grew mightily as the words of God he held on to released great measure of the Holy Spirit into his soul. He therefore overcame Satan by holding on to words of God.

Lk. 4:14 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.

God’s purpose in bringing Jesus Christ into the world was to save some branches of the old Adam, before the giant tree is finally cut down and cast into fire (Mt. 3:10). In order to save branches of the old Adam, the marriage between the branches and Satan must be annulled. The only way to annul the marriage is by death. Even though Jesus was never supposed to die, since he never ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he willingly laid down his life for the sake of the branches of Adam that are to be saved.

Ro. 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death?
Ro. 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Any branch of Adam that wants to be saved needs to join himself/herself to the death of Jesus Christ and thereby make the death of Jesus Christ her/his own. This is done through water baptism. Any person who has faith in Jesus Christ and who gets baptized into him in water has been cut off from Adam and has been grafted into Jesus Christ. The person is now qualified to receive the Holy Spirit. All it now takes for the person to receive the Holy Spirit is to pray for it (Lk. 11:13). Any person who receives the Holy Spirit has joined the kingdom of God.

Jn. 5:24 “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

In the beginning

Ge. 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Ge. 2:7 (KJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
Ge. 3:2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
Ge. 3:3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
Ge. 3:4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman.
Ge. 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

God created mankind just as He created other animals. Then God decided to make mankind a spirit being, by breathing into mankind His Spirit. Mankind became a living soul. “Living soul” means that the soul of man can grow and can also decay or decrease, just like a living thing. In order to grow, the soul of mankind has to feed on some food. Since the soul is a spiritual entity, its food is also spiritual. Hence, in the Garden of Eden, we see the two trees in the center of the Garden; they were meant to produce food for the souls of mankind. The tree of life is God and His fruit is the Word. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is Satan and his fruit is his word.

God released His fruit or word to Adam; the word was a command to never receive Satan’s word, else he would die. This word was meant to keep mankind alive, but mankind rejected the word and received Satan’s word. Sin entered man and the Spirit of God in man was grieved and left mankind. This way, mankind lost the divine power which comes with the Spirit of God.

He. 2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor
He. 2:8 and put everything under his feet.” [Psalm 8:4-6] In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.

The fallen man does not have the divine power to control nature on earth. He can only wield political and military power over fellow human beings. Man is in an endless struggle to protect himself from the vagaries of nature. But God’s initial purpose for man was for man to rule over nature by the divine power.

Mt. 3:1 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea
Mt. 3:2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

What did John the Baptist mean by “The kingdom of God is near”?

Mt. 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour.
Mt. 4:9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

How does the kingdom of God contrast with kingdoms of the world?

Mt. 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Jesus began his earthly ministry by saying the same thing that John the Baptist said, “The kingdom of God (or heaven) is near.” This means that the presence of Jesus Christ on earth was not synonymous with the presence of the kingdom of God.

Mt. 6:9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “`Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Mt. 6:10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

When Jesus Christ taught his disciples how to pray, he told them to pray for the coming of the kingdom of God.

Mt. 12:28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Here Jesus Christ pinpoints what the kingdom of God is; it is operating in the power of the Spirit of God—the divine power. In contrast, the kingdom of this world is all about operating political or military power.

The reality is that IPOB and any other group like it cannot actualize Biafra. There are Jews in Biafra; inasnuch as most people think that the Jewish heritage is a prideful thing, they do not realize the full implications. People do not realize the spiritual implication of Jewisshness in Igboland and how it relates with the plight of Igbos in Nigeria. The Jews of Igboland are descendants of Jews who migrated from Judea to Egypt in Jeremiah 43. Jeremiah 41 to 44 tells the story of those Jews. The story shows that there is a spiritual problem accompanying those Jews and it explains the plight of Igbos in Nigeria. Until the spiritual problem is addressed spiritually, Igbo Jews will go nowhere. Therefore, MASSOB, IPOB, or any other group like them, cannot solve the problems of Igbos. If Ojukwu and the Biafran soldiers of the late 60s could not save Igbos, no physical movement can save Igbos. Igbos can only be saved by spiritual action. And they will be saved in the near future, as promised by God, as contained in the Bible.

Ez. 36:22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.
Ez. 36:23 I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.
Ez. 36:24 “‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.

Feeding the soul

Now that we are in Christ Jesus, how do we feed the soul with the fruit of the tree of life? I have stated that the fruit of the tree of life is the word of God and I have also stated that the fruit of the tree of life is the Holy Spirit. Is there a contradiction? No, there isn’t. The word of God is spirit (Jn. 6:63).

We feed the soul by speaking God’s word. By speaking the word of God, we are operating in the divine power. It is the divine power that builds up the soul; it builds up our spiritual potential. It is by speaking words of God that we build up the spiritual potential of the soul.

Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

God’s word is made up of the commandments and the promises. We are meant to perfectly obey God’s commandments so that God will fulfill His promises to us. Unfortunately, the commandments cannot be perfectly obeyed by human power or human might, but by the Spirit or power of God (Zec. 4:6). Jo. 1:8 says that continual speaking of God’s commandments and continual meditation on them enables one to keep all the commandments of God. Jn. 3:34 says if a person speaks words of God, God gives the Spirit without limit. What God gives is power to fulfill His word.

When I pray, I say words like these:

By your grace O God, I shall be holy even as you, our heavenly Father, are holy (Mt. 5:48).

By your grace, glorious Father, I shall not worry about what I shall eat or what I shall drink, or what I shall wear; I will seek first your kingdom and your righteousness, for I know that you will, along with the kingdom, freely give me all things.

By your grace O god, I shall not sin my heart by looking at the opposite sex lustfully.

Praise be to you, everlasting Father, for you supply all my needs according to your glorious riches in Christ.

Can the Human soul rise again?

He. 2:6 But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?

Even though in the beginning, God did not exclude anything on earth from being subject to mankind, presently, we do not see everything subject to mankind. For example, nature is not subject to the wishes of mankind; evil spirits are not subject to mankind. But then, Jesus Christ, an Adam, was made a little lower than angels, just like the first Adam, and not only was everything subject to him, he is now crowned with glory and honor because he laid down his life for the redemption of mankind.

Ph. 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Ph. 2:6 Who, being in very nature [Or in the form of] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
Ph. 2:7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Ro. 5:18 Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

The disobedience of the first Adam to God’s word brought sin and death to all mankind. Jesus Christ, the new Adam, quite unlike the first Adam, did not follow Satan to grasp at equality with God by rebellion. Instead, Jesus Christ humbled himself and obeyed God even to the extent of dying on the cross. Today, Jesus Christ is seated on the throne in heaven with God—equality with God. Satan and Adam can never sit on the throne in heaven.

By reason of Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement for the sins of mankind, God has forgiven mankind the sin of eating the fruit of Satan and mankind is now free to eat the fruit of God that gives eternal life. In order to be able to eat the fruit of God, one needs to be baptized into Jesus Christ—water baptism. It is only in Jesus Christ that one could eat the fruit of God. Once a person has been baptized into Jesus Christ, the person can pray or be prayed for God to give him the Holy Spirit, which is the fruit of the tree of life. As soon as the soul receives the Holy Spirit, it is reborn. It is now like a new born baby. It needs to continue to feed and grow so that it could rise to the level of God. Satan hates to see a soul grow towards being like God though and so will stage a serious fight.

Ro. 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or unclothedness or danger or sword?
Ro. 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Ge. 2:7 (KJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God created mankind just as He created other animals, on the sixth day of God’s creation (the universe). Apparently, one universe’s day is the time it takes for the universe to make one complete rotation about its axis, and is greater than earth’s day by a very large order of magnitude.

Towards the end of the universe’s sixth day of existence:

Ge. 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

God singled out mankind from among the animals and elevated mankind to the level of spirit beings, by breathing into mankind His Spirit. Mankind became a living soul. “Living soul” means that the soul of man can grow and can also decay or decrease, just like a living thing.

Ps. 8:3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
Ps. 8:4 what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
Ps. 8:5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
Ps. 8:6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet.

God raised the human soul to a level that is a little lower than angels. Unfortunately, the elevation of mankind to the image of God created a big problem in God’s kingdom. One third of God’s angels rebelled against God because of the elevation of mankind. God made mankind a little lower than angels and also gave mankind the capacity to grow or to decrease. This means that some human beings can actually surpass some angels.

Ge. 2:8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.
Ge. 2:9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground — trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Having made mankind to become a living soul, God made a garden for mankind. This garden contained all sorts of plants that produce fruits that nourish the human body. In the middle of the garden were two trees that produce fruits that the soul could feed on. Since the soul is a spiritual entity, the trees that produce fruits that it could eat are also spiritual entities. The tree of life is God and His fruit is His word. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is Satan and his fruit is his word. Therefore, the food that the soul feeds on are spiritual words.

Ge. 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
Ge. 2:17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”

The tree of life yielded His fruit to mankind, warning mankind to never eat the fruit of Satan, or else mankind would die.

Ge. 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Ge. 3:4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman.
Ge. 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil also yielded his fruit to mankind, telling mankind that the way for the human soul to grow to the same level as God is by eating his fruit. From Satan’s word, it is clear that his interest is to prevent the human soul from growing. Unfortunately, mankind chose to eat the fruit of Satan. Immediately, the spiritual potential (measure of divinity) of the human soul crashed down. That is the fall of man.

Towards the Rapture

2Co. 5:1 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
2Co. 5:2 Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
2Co. 5:3 because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.
2Co. 5:4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

With this new knowledge about how to increase the measure of the Holy Spirit through speaking God’s commandments and promises, I think that Jesus Christ may have opened the first seal of Revelation 6. As the seals are being opened, secrets of the kingdom of God will be released to the sons of God. As the sons of God apply the revealed secrets to their lives, the measure of the Holy Spirit in them grows. By the time the seventh seal is opened, the sons of God will be able to rise to a measure of the Spirit that transforms their mortal bodies to glorious spiritual bodies. Resurrection! This will be followed by the rapture.

The two trees in the middle of the Garden of God

The two trees in the middle of the Garden of God were God Himself and Satan (the serpent). The fruits that they produce are words. The words of God give life (Jn. 1:4, 6:63). The words of Satan kill. Adam and Eve made the mistake of feeding on the words of Satan and sin entered into them. The measure of the Holy Spirit in their souls decreased drastically so that their souls could no longer inhabit the glorious (spiritual) bodies with which God had clothed them, so the bodies dissolved. Their souls became bodiless or naked. By reason of the measure of the Spirit still in them, Adam and Eve were able to clothe their souls with plant matter (Ge. 3:8—their souls hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden).

Ge. 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Ge. 3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Ge. 3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

God later clothed the souls of mankind with animal bodies, which is what we still have today.

This mountain, `Move from here to there’

Mt. 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Mt. 17:20 says that even if the measure of the Holy Spirit in you is as small as a mustard seed, you can do a miracle. However, Mt. 17:21 says that it will require persistence; which means commanding the mountain to move, several times, until it moves. The “several times” could mean commanding the mountain for a couple of days. How long to endure in persistence depends on the measure of the Holy Spirit in you. For some measures of the Holy Spirit, just one command to the mountain moves it. That is the reason why every son of God needs to build up the measure of the Spirit in him by continually speaking God’s commandments and promises.

What is that mountain that is confronting the son of God? Is it terminal sickness in a man or a woman? Is it dangerous addiction in one person or the other? Is it one sin or the other in the life of a Christian? Is it lack (poverty)? The son of God should wash his heart with the blood of Jesus and then hold on to God’s promises and command the mountain to go away.

His words abide in you

Jn. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jn. 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Do you want God (or divine essence) to dwell in you? Fill your mind with words of God and God is dwelling in you, for the Word is God. If the divine essence is in you, then you are a son of God.

Jn. 10:36 Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God’s Son’?
Jn. 10:37 Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does.
Jn. 10:38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”

The only way to prove that you are a son of God is if you can do miracles. You will be able to do miracles if the Father (His words, and hence His Spirit) is in you and you are in him (you hold Him by His words).

God’s words are composed of His commandments and His promises. A son of God must obey all the commandments of God and trust in His promises for his wellbeing.

A son of God should always fill his mind with both the commandments and promises of God. He should also speak them with his mouth. Jo. 1:8 says that this enables a son of God to obey the commandments of God.

As a son of God speaks God’s words, the measure of the Holy Spirit in him grows. Through the Spirit, the son of God easily obeys the commandments of God and also does miracles.

Abide in Christ

To abide in Christ means that you are already baptized into Jesus Christ in water and in the Spirit (Jn. 3:5), so that the issue now is whether you are persisting in that baptism.

Mk. 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Water baptism is a public testimony that you believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It initiates you into the Church of Jesus Christ.

Lk. 11:13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Ac. 19:1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples

Having been initiated into the Church through water baptism, there is need to pray to God for the release of the Holy Spirit into the new believer. The right thing is for the prayer for the Holy Spirit to be done right after the water baptism.

Jn. 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

When a person receives the Holy Spirit, Christ (the Anointing) abides in the person. To abide in Christ simply means to believe in Christ. We are not talking about shallow belief here, we are rather talking about Christ (the Anointing) being the basis of one’s life—depending on the anointing for everything.

Ro. 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Col. 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Col. 3:3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

Jn. 15:7 (KJV) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Every promise of God has some conditions attached to it. The promise we want to look at here is that we may ask whatever we wish and it will be given to us. Doesn’t it sound too good to be true? Some people will quickly say, ‘You religious nuts!’ Others will say, ‘If this promise is true, how often do Christians receive what they ask for in their prayers?’ Well, the reality is that there are conditions attached to the promise and many Christians haven’t clearly understood what the conditions really mean. What does it mean to abide in Christ? What does it mean for his words to abide in a person? Then there is this other condition in Ja. 4:3:

Ja. 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
