Christianity EtcRe: Doing All The Works That Jesus Did by Kei144(op):
Ok, so did you do things like Jesus did? I pray to God, I read Bible but I can't even do small things. Only God knows how many night I was praying to God in Jesus name to heal my father. Didnt happen for 17 years. My dad died.

So I have simple question for you - do you do things like Jesus? You posted good lecture, thank you for that - but do you do things like Jesus?
https://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message3883063/reply69966603

I am still at a beginning stage. I lay my hand on the sick and pray and they recover. I am still in the process of growing my inner being. As I grow inwardly, I will be able to do more like Jesus. Right now, I am also growing in righteousness.

This whole thing actually began sometime in 2013. I was lying on my bed and this saying of Jesus that if by the Spirit he casted out demons came to my mind. From that time I began to say that I do things by the Holy Spirit of God; because I have the Holy Spirit in me, things actually did happen, even though at very low level.

Some other day, Jesus' saying that unless we drink his blood and et his flesh we have no life in us came to my mind while I was also lying on my bed. I then began to say that I drink the blood of Jesus and I eat the flesh of Jesus, imagining it while I spoke. With time, I changed it to, "I drink the blood of God and I eat the flesh of God". Towards the end of 2013, any sick person that I laid my hand upon and spoke something like, "I heal you of whatever that is troubling your body by the Holy Spirit of God" got healed immediately. I couldn't place my finger on why exactly the power to heal came upon me. Over time my healing ability reduced, apparently because I stopped saying the kind of prayers that gave me the ability to heal.

Recently, as I meditated on the kind of thing that you called "theory", I discovered that the secret to my healing ability of 2013 is drinking the blood of God (not Jesus). It was God in Jesus that spoke about drinking His blood. As I drink the blood of God by faith, my inner being is filled with divine life. When I now meet a sick person, I lay my hand on her/him and say: "I fill your whole body with the blood of the most High God through the Holy Spirit of God. I overcome whatever that is troubling this body by the blood of God. Holy Spirit of God, fill this body with life abundantly and destroy the power of death in this body. Put to death every organism that is afflicting this body with sickness, disease or infirmity and restore this body to good health and strength. I pray in the me of Jesus."

Mark 1:35 [ Jesus Prays in a Solitary Place ] Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

It was the practice of Jesus to go to a solitary place and pray, before the breaking of each day. Why did Jesus need to do this?

I think that Jesus needed to fill himself up with divine life before going out to do God's work each day. The only way for Jesus to regularly fill himself up with divine life was by speaking to the rock (the Holy Spirit) that was with him.

I can write all these because of the experience I am currently having.

How to eat Spiritual Food and drink Spiritual Drink

On the Pentecost day, God gave the Israelites water from the rock. Similarly, on the Pentecost day following the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, God baptized the disciples of Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. The inner beings drank spiritual drink.

John 4:34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

Jn. 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Jn. 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit [Or Spirit] and they are life.

Jn. 6:53 Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
Jn. 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Jn. 6:55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
Jn. 6:56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
Jn. 6:57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
Jn. 6:58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live for ever.”

What enabled Jesus to do the works he did during his earthly ministry was the divine essence in his inner being. The inner man can only eat spiritual food and drink spiritual drink. As the inner man eats and drinks, it grows in stature and hence in power. It is the power of his inner man that enabled Jesus to do all the work that he did during his earthly ministry.

The inner man becomes very powerful when it is full of divine life. Divine life can only be released to the inner man by the Holy Spirit of God. Even though many Christians of today have the Holy Spirit, they are yet to learn the importance of regularly eating the flesh of God and drinking the blood of God through the Holy Spirit and how to do it. That is the only thing separating Christians that have the Holy Spirit from doing the works that Jesus did during his earthly ministry.

What did Jesus have that enabled him to do the great works?

Mt. 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Jesus definitely had the Holy Spirit of God; and he said that he did what he did by the Spirit. But then, a lot of Christians of today also have the Holy Spirit of God. Why are they not doing the kind of things that Jesus did? There is definitely more to just having the Spirit of God that is required to do the works that Jesus did during his earthly ministry.

Jesus said, "Anyone who has faith in me." Obviously, "faith" is the key to doing the works that Jesus did. What exactly is faith?

He. 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

He. 11:1 says that there are two types of faith. One type of faith is about what one doesn't yet have, but is hoping to have, someday. The other type of faith is about an invisible thing that a person already has. In order to do the works that Jesus did, you must have the invisible thing that Jesus had during his earthly ministry. If you don't have what Jesus had and you are trying to faith it out, that is pure wishful thinking and it will never work.
Christianity EtcDoing All The Works That Jesus Did by Kei144(op): 12:21pm On Jul 29, 2018
Jn. 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Jn. 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

Jesus said that anyone who has faith in Jesus Christ can do all the work that he did during his earthly ministry. He went on to say that a person who has faith in him can do even greater work than he did. How does one fulfill this promise of Jesus?

Mt 13:31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

33 He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

During the fall of man, Satan flooded mankind with evil spirits (birds of the air). Every descendant of Adam ha these demons; they are the reason why sin is an incurable disease among mankind. but sin sin is actually curable. Drive out the demons and keep them out and sin is gone.

Mt. 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

If you have the Holy Spirit in you, you can drive out the demons that make you to sin and keep them out.

Every demon operating in my body, I drive you out by the Holy Spirit of the Most High God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Persistence in Warfare

Mt. 17:15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
Mt. 17:16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
Mt. 17:17 “O unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.”
Mt. 17:18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
Mt. 17:18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
Mt. 17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
Mt. 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Mt. 17:21 [Some manuscripts: you. 21 But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.]

Even though the Holy Spirit was not yet in Jesus’ disciples as at the time the event of Mt. 17:15-21 occurred, the Spirit was with them. So, why couldn’t the disciples drive out the demon that troubled the boy? Jesus’ answer to the question is that the disciples had so little faith. The usual understanding of Jesus’ answer is that the disciples had little belief. Belief in what? Belief in Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Father or what? I think that Jesus was referring to the measure of the Holy Spirit with the disciples. The measure of the Holy Spirit with the disciples was very little compared to the measure of the Holy Spirit in Jesus. Jesus possessed fullness of the Spirit. The Spirit wasn’t even yet in the disciples; they had only peripheral measure of the Spirit. Even with the peripheral measure of the Spirit, the disciples could still drive out the demon; but they needed to persistently battle against the demon before the demon could go.

In Mt. 17:20 Jesus says that even if you have a measure of the Holy Spirit that is as small as a mustard seed, you are still able to move out any mountain (problem) from your way. All it takes is to persistently battle against the mountain through the small measure of the Spirit that you have. Notice that the NIV Bible does not include v.21. The NIV Bible translators only noted that other Bible versions include v.21, which is about prayer and fasting. NIV Bible translators used more authentic ancient Bible scrolls for their translation and therefore noticed that prayer and fasting were not emphasized in the ancient scrolls.

Of what importance is fasting? Fasting only creates conducive environment for people to concentrate and persist in prayer/warfare. If a person could persistently battle the enemy even while eating and drinking, s/he will achieve the same result as a person who persistently battles the enemy while fasting. Even “prayer” of Mt. 17:21 is excluded from the NIV Bible. This is an apparent reference to the fact that if all you do during fating is to ask God to do this or that for you, you may come out of the fasting with no achievement whatsoever. You can do that thing you are asking God to do for you by yourself through the Spirit that God has given you.

Ja. 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Speak to the Rock

I met a person who was seriously sick and I laid my hand on the person and said: “In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ I put to death everything in this body that afflicts this body with sickness, disease or infirmity by the Holy Spirit of God. I give life to this body and overcome death in this body by the Holy Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.” Later, the person told me that my prayer healed him.

Mt. 12:28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Due to my blood group and my blood genotype, coupled with residence in Africa, I frequently suffer bouts of malaria. Over my many years of being a born-again Christian, I have sought to overcome malaria through prayer and never succeeded. Recently, acute malaria came upon me as usual and I decided to attack it by the Spirit. I laid my hand on my body and said: “Malaria parasites and everything in my body that is afflicting my body with sickness, be destroyed and overthrown from this body by divine power through the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus!” The sickness didn’t go immediately. I continued with this kind of spiritual warfare for a few minutes and I regained my health. I woke up the next day and symptoms of malaria were all over me again. I waged the same kind of spiritual warfare and the malaria finally left me.

Due to some newly gained knowledge, I said to myself one day: “Every idol or demon that is influencing my life, I drive you out of my body by the Holy Spirit of God.” I also say: “Every idol or demon that is influencing my life, be overthrown and driven out of my body by the Holy Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.” Since I started this kind of warfare, I’ve seen myself growing in righteousness.

The Holy Spirit in a Man

Col. 2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,
Col. 2:10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the Head over every power and authority.

All the fullness of God lives in Jesus Christ because of the Holy Spirit in him. God has given human beings who are baptized into Jesus Christ the opportunity to be filled with the fullness of God (but not all the fullness). There are different measures of the Holy Spirit in man. After Jesus was baptized in water the River Jordan, he received the lowest measure of the Holy Spirit—level 1. By the time Jesus finished his forty-day and forty-night stay in the wild, the measure of the Holy Spirit in him moved up to fullness. It was at this level that he commenced his earthly ministry.

1Co. 14:32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

Even though the Holy Spirit is God’s mighty arm of power, the Holy Spirit in a man is subject to control by the man. This implies that if the man does not exercise control over the Spirit, the Spirit does nothing. Most often, Christians pray and pray asking God to do this or that for them; most of the prayers are ineffective. A lot of the people saying these prayers are sons of God—they have the Holy Spirit. These people have the same Holy Spirit that God uses to accomplish all His works and yet they keep on praying for God to do basic things for them. God wants His sons to grow up and start working like Him (Jn. 5:17).

1Co. 10:3 They all ate the same spiritual food
1Co. 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

Nu. 20:7 The LORD said to Moses,
Nu. 20:8 “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that they and their livestock can drink.”

“Christ” in 1Co. 10:4 is the Anointing (Holy Spirit) and not Jesus Christ (Jesus the Anointed One). God commanded Moses to speak to the rock, which represented the Holy Spirit. The rock accompanied the Israelites, but could not be in them (Jn. 14:17). God basically commanded Moses to speak to the Holy Spirit the way He spoke to the Holy Spirit in Ge. 1:3. Moses’ failure to obey this command made God to wind up Moses’ ministry and life on earth. It is also the reason why the Israelites could not live up to God’s requirement of them.

Ep. 1:19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength.

2Pe. 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

The Holy Spirit bears the power of God. Any person who has the Holy Spirit has the incomparably great power of God within her/him. This power is able to give the bearer everything the person needs for life and godliness. Everything! How does one put this power to use? By speaking to the rock!

The Holy Spirit

Pr. 8:22 “The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old;
Pr. 8:23 I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began.
Pr. 8:24 When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water;
Pr. 8:25 before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth,
Pr. 8:26 before he made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world.
Pr. 8:27 I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
Pr. 8:28 when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
Pr. 8:29 when he gave the sea its boundary so that the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
Pr. 8:30 Then I was the craftsman at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence,
Pr. 8:31 rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.

Pr. 8:22-31 talks about the Holy Spirit of God. At a time in eternity past, God was all alone, just like Adam was in the Garden of Eden. Then God decided to expand. The first thing God did in this expansion was to bring forth His powerful arm or Spirit; just as God brought out Eve from Adam so that Adam could expand. Through His arm, God began to expand, or what we call His creative works. Physicists tell us that up till today, the universe is still expanding.

Jn. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jn. 1:2 He was with God in the beginning.
Jn. 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Jn. 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Jn. 1:1 is about the Holy Spirit of God. Here the Holy Spirit is called the Word. The word that comes out of the mouth of God is spiritual energy and that is the Holy Spirit; just as the word that comes out of man and animals is acoustic wave or energy.

Jn. 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
Jn. 1:11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
Jn. 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
Jn. 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husbandÂ’ will, but born of God.
Jn. 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, [Or the Only Begotten] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jn. 1:10 says that the Holy Spirit was in man; God breathed the Holy Spirit into Adam (Ge. 2:7), but Adam lost the Holy Spirit when he ate the forbidden fruit. Note that God breathed His Spirit into Adam before Eve was brought out and God gave the command to Adam before Eve was brought out. Satan used Eve who did not have the Holy Spirit to pull down Adam the son of God.

Jn. 1:12 says that anyone who receives the Holy Spirit is a son of God. When a human being receives fullness of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit becomes flesh in that person; the person becomes a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Till date, only Jesus Christ has operated in the fullness of the Spirit. Everyone that will participate in the rapture must reach fullness of the Spirit before the rapture (Mt. 25:4).

Formless, Empty, Darkness

Ge. 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Ge. 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

In Ge. 1:2, we see a situation that was characterized by formlessness, emptiness and darkness; yet the Spirit of God was present in the situation and did nothing. It wasn’t until the person who had control over the Spirit spoke to the Spirit that the Spirit swiftly changed the situation from darkness to light.

Ge. 1:2 is a fitting description of the condition of a person suffering from incurable disease. This person may well have the Holy Spirit of God in her/him; yet, formlessness, emptiness and darkness persist in her/his life. In the principle that I have discovered, which heals incurable diseases, it is actually the Holy Spirit of God that drives away the formlessness, emptiness and darkness. Therefore, the starting point in healing incurable diseases is that the Holy Spirit of God must be present in the situation. This requires either that the person with the incurable disease has the Holy Spirit in her/him or that a person that has the Holy Spirit in her/him is present to minister to the sick person.

On Sunday April 30 2000, I was in a church service. The pastor had finished his sermon and was praying. Suddenly, he shouted: “A great evangelist is here! This person wil l discover a principle that heals incurable diseases. He will be known worldwide.” Th Spirit made me to know that the pastor was referring to me.

It happened that my life was full of problems that were becoming impossible for me to solve. While I battled to solve the problems I was facing, a new seemingly insolvable problem would join. Somebody advised me to go to this church for deliverance, so that all my problems would go. I was billed to begin a week-long deliverance session on Monday May 1; on Sunday April 30, the prophecy sounded. After the deliverance session, none of my problems was solved, but the prophecy followed me ever since.

As time went on, my greatest problem became ill health. I got to understand that a close relative had poisoned me with incurable witchcraft poison. I also got to understand that no medicine in this world could cure my sickness; neither would any spiritual man be able to deliver me. I alone could heal myself. Over the years, I searched for spiritual principle that could heal me. Finally, I now know a principle that could heal incurable disease.

These Signs will follow you

Mk. 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Mk. 16:18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

It is not only righteousness that you can achieve through the Spirit. You can drive out demons from other people, by the Spirit. You can heal the sick, by the Spirit. All it takes is issuing appropriate control word.

Ph. 4:13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

“Him” in Ph. 4:13 refers to the Holy Spirit of God in you. As you grow in righteousness and in faith, whatever you decree by word of faith will come to pass. You are a son of God indeed.

The Righteousness of God

Mt. 6:31 So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?’ or `What shall we drink?’ or `What shall we wear?’
Mt. 6:32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
Mt. 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Life in the world is driven by worry. Demons use worry to manipulate people. After you have been prayed for to receive the Holy Spirit of God, whether you see any visible evidence of the Holy Spirit (like speaking in tongue) or not, make up your mind that your body is God’s property, because the Holy Spirit of God is now in you. Make up your mind that you must now offer your body as a living sacrifice to God by living a life that is holy and pleasing to God.

Col. 2:9 For in Christ all the fulness of the Deity lives in bodily form,
Col. 2:10 and you have been given fulness in Christ, who is the Head over every power and authority.
Col. 2:11 In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ.

The kingdom of God is to have fullness of the Deity in a human body. The Holy Spirit you have received is the fullness of the Deity. The righteousness of God is the putting off of the sinful nature with circumcision done by Christ (the Holy Spirit).

Ep. 1:19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength.

The Holy Spirit possesses the power of God. A person that has the Holy Spirit of God has the divine power in her/him. The power is available for the person that has the Holy Spirit to use. The number one thing a son of God should do with the divine power is to circumcise his soul. It is the evil spirits operating in man that makes it difficult for man to do the will of God. Circumcision of the soul involves driving out all the evil spirits through the Holy Spirit.

1Co. 14:32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

The Holy Spirit of God in a son of God is subject to the control of the son of God. If the son of God does not speak to the Spirit, evil spirits could be creating a life of formlessness, emptiness and darkness in the son of God. This is the situation of many Christians who have the Holy Spirit. They have the Holy Spirit, but they cannot live a holy life that is pleasing to God. All they need to do is to circumcise their souls through the Holy Spirit by speaking words of faith.

Every demon operating in my body, I drive you out by divine power through the Holy Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Every act of the sinful nature present in me, every misdeed of the flesh present in me, every unholy character in me and every sinful habit in me, be destroyed now by divine power through the Holy Spirit of God, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Holy Spirit of the Most High God, take control of my body; have preeminence in my life, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

As you keep your body free of demons through the Holy Spirit, you will find it easy to live a holy life that is pleasing to God. You will no longer be conforming to pattern of this world.

How to Receive the Holy Spirit

Different churches have different doctrines of how to receive the Holy Spirit, but I only believe what the Bible says about receiving the Holy Spirit.

1Pe. 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

The way to receive the Holy Spirit of God is by following the example given to us by Jesus Christ.

Mt. 3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John.
Mt. 3:14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptised by you, and do you come to me?”
Mt. 3:15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfil all righteousness.” Then John consented.
Mt. 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.

Ac. 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus submitted himself to the ministry of John the Baptist and was baptized by John. Shortly after the baptism, God breathed His Holy Spirit into Jesus and declared him to be His Son. In Ac. 2:38, Apostle Peter makes it clear that anyone who wants to receive the Holy Spirit must also be baptized in water. This means that the person who wants to receive the Holy Spirit of God must submit her/himself to a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for baptism in water and prayer to receive the Holy Spirit (Lk. 11:13).

So-called orthodox churches, such as Roman Catholic and Anglican, baptize people when they are infants. When the baptized infants grow up, they go through “confirmation” in which a bishop lays hand on the person being confirmed. Apparently, the confirmation procedure is supposed to be for receiving of the Holy Spirit (Ac. 19:6); but does the bishop actually pray for the person being confirmed to receive the Holy Spirit or is the procedure just a confirmation of the person’s membership of the church? Even if the bishop prays for the gift of the Holy Spirit, the idea of separating water baptism from prayer for the Holy Spirit by a long period of time is not biblical. If the orthodox churches must baptize infants, they should also pray for the infants to receive the Holy Spirit and thereafter make sure that as the child grows up s/he knows and believes that s/he is God’s property.

As a Christian, are you sure that you have the Holy Spirit? The kind of water baptism that you went through has a lot to do with whether or not you have the Holy Spirit. Did the baptizer pray and lay hand on you for God to give you the Holy Spirit? In Acts 19, Apostle Paul had to organize proper baptism for a group of believers who had been baptized by John the Baptist, after which he prayed and laid hand on them to receive the Holy Spirit.

Repentance

1Jn. 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Ro. 7:18 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. [Or my flesh] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
Ro. 7:19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do — this I keep on doing.

Life in this world is controlled by Satan’s spirits, or demons. It is the demonic control of the human body that makes it very difficult for a normal human being to perfectly do the will of God. As soon as Satan succeeded in deceiving Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of God, Satan flooded mankind with evil spirits. Every descendant of Adam inherited evil spirits.

Ro. 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship.
Ro. 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Repentance is making the decision that you no longer want to live by the dictates of demons. You no longer want to be a slave to sin (demons), but rather you want to offer your body to God as a living sacrifice. You want to live a life that is holy and pleasing to God; this way of life is the real spiritual act of worship.

It is only through the Holy Spirit that a person could live a life that is holy and pleasing to God. Hence, when you decide to no longer be a slave to sin (demons), you must ask: How do I receive the Holy Spirit of God?

Mt. 12:28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Col. 1:27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

The kingdom of God is simply “the Holy Spirit or Christ in you". “Christ” means “the Anointing”. “Jesus Christ" means “Jesus the anointed One”. The Anointing is the Holy Spirit of God. If anyone that has the Holy Spirit, God is in the person through the Holy Spirit and Jesus is connected to the person through the Holy Spirit. The person belongs in the kingdom of Jesus Christ, which is the kingdom of God.

I think that the end-time revival will commence this week. Thick darkness will begin to cover the world; but the sons of God will arise and shine (Isaiah 61). Israelites in Nigeria will come to the limelight as this revival begins. it is time for the wise virgins to fill their lamps with oil (Mt. 25:1-10).

Jesus Christ Comes Back for His Church at THE END of A Jubilee Year! Del.icio.us!
Our Final Year ends in the Spring of 2018!
The final Jubilee ends on Nissan 1 (April 18, 2018)!. There will have been 40 complete Jubilee cycles following Christ’s death. Isn’t that interesting? There are so many 40’s in the Bible and 40 is a significant number to God. The 40 Jubilees after Christ’s death bring us to the end of probationary time.

These Signs will follow you

Mk. 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

As you grow in righteousness and in faith, the list of things you can do through the Spirit grows. Everything is possible to him that has faith (Mk. 9:23).

Living by the Spirit

Ga. 5:16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
Ga. 5:17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
Ga. 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

To live by the Spirit means to run your life by the power of the Holy Spirit that God has given you, just as God runs the universe though His Spirit. You operate the power of the Spirit in you by speaking control words.

Ro. 10:8 The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming.

The first thing to do by the Spirit is eliminate from your body every indwelling evil spirit. You can speak a follows:

In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I drive out of my body every evil spirit by the finger (or Spirit) of God. Holy Spirit of the Most High, drive out of my body every idol or demon, with fire, in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, take control of my being; I pray in the name of Jesus Christ

I say the above words, or something similar to it, every time I pray. As you continue to speak this kind of word of faith, you will discover that all the unholy habits and characters in your life are caused by evil spirits. You will see yourself growing in righteousness.

Ga. 5:18 says that any person who lives by the Spirit is not under law. Christians understand it to mean that any person that is born again should no longer keep the laws of God and they claim that Apostle Paul taught them that. In reality, what Ga. 5:18 says is that if the Holy Spirit is in control of your life, you don’t need to be guided by the laws of God, because the Spirit will move you to be living in accordance with the laws of God.

When the Holy Spirit comes into a man

Mt. 12:43 “When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
Mt. 12:44 Then it says, `I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.
Mt. 12:45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

When the Holy Spirit comes into a man, the evil spirit in the man leaves. The man becomes clean for some time. But the evil spirit will take with it more wicked spirits than itself and seek to repossess the man. Unless the man is spiritually active, the Holy Spirit will not oppose the evil spirits as they come to repossess the man. The Holy spirit does not impose Himself on any man.

Ge. 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Ge. 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Here was a situation that was characterized by formlessness, emptiness and darkness; yet the Spirit of God was present in the situation and did nothing. It wasn’t until the person who has control over the Spirit spoke control word to the Spirit that the Spirit swiftly changed the situation from darkness to light.

1Co. 14:32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

The Holy Spirit in a son of God is subject to the control of the son of God. If the son of God does not issue control words to the Spirit, evil spirits could come into the son of God and create a life of formlessness, emptiness and darkness. This is the situation of many Christians who have the Holy Spirit.

The purpose of any spirit dwelling in a human or animal body is to control the human or animal body.

Nu. 22:27 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat her with his staff.
Nu. 22:28 Then the LORD opened the donkey’s mouth, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?”
Nu. 22:29 Balaam answered the donkey, “You have made a fool of me! If I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now.”
Nu. 22:30 The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you?” “No,” he said.
Nu. 22:31 Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell face down.
Nu. 22:32 The angel of the LORD asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.

God put His Spirit in a donkey and enabled the donkey to speak its mind, like a human being; that is spirit control. Do donkeys normally reason in their minds, but are unable to speak? I wish a Professor of Biology could research on this question.

Lk. 8:27 When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs.
Lk. 8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!”
Lk. 8:29 For Jesus had commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.
Lk. 8:30 Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him.
Lk. 8:31 And they begged him repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.
Lk. 8:32 A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into them, and he gave them permission.
Lk. 8:33 When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.

A legion of demons possessed a man and turned him into a beast. When Jesus appeared on the scene the demons used the man’s body to converse with Jesus. The demons completely overrode the man’s mind and communicated with Jesus using the man’s body. When Jesus drove the demons out of the man and allowed the demons to go into a herd of pigs, the demons drove the herd into a nearby lake. This is a clear demonstration of spirit control of animals.

1Cor. 14:32The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.

The Holy that God gives to His son is very powerful and is subject to control by the son of God. To the contrary, the spirit of Satan in a person manipulates the person and cannot be controlled by the person. However, Satan also gives his sons (witches and wizards) powerful spirits that they can control.

2Pe. 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Ph. 4:13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

The Spirit that God gives to His son is capable of giving the son of God everything that is needed for life and godliness. I want to focus on godliness here, because the Bible says that we should seek first the kingdom (or sonship) of God, which a person obtains when he receives the Holy Spirit, and the righteousness of God (godliness), so that every other thing we need will be given to us.

What causes ungodliness is the evil spirits that Satan uses to control mankind. Through the Holy Spirit, a son of God can drive out all evil spirits in him, and then through the Holy Spirit decree how his life should be. A son of God can control his body by the Holy Spirit.

Ge. 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Ge. 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realised that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Ge. 3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
Ge. 3:9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”
Ge. 3:10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

2Co. 5:1 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
2Co. 5:2 Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
2Co. 5:3 because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked.
2Co. 5:4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
2Co. 5:5 Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

By eating the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve grieved the Holy spirit that was in them. The Spirit left them and they became naked--zero control. They covered themselves with fig leaves, which could mean that they descended to the spiritual level of trees--lower than animals. God later clothed them with animal skin, which could mean that God raised mankind from the spiritual level of trees to the spiritual level of beasts. Satan later flooded man with evil spirits, by which he is able to control man.

Ge. 2:7 The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Jn. 20:22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

God formed man from the dust of the ground, just as He formed the beasts. But God did to man what He didn't do to the beasts, which is to breathe into man His Holy Spirit. the presence of the Holy Spirit in man turned man into an image of God, or a son of God. We know that breathing the Holy Spirit into man enraged one third of Gods's angels, who then rebelled against Him; that is by the way.

The Holy Spirit in man became the inner or spirit man. What is the purpose of this inner spirit man?

He. 2:8 (KJV) Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

He. 2:8 (CEB) You put everything under their control. When he puts everything under their control, he doesn’t leave anything out of control. But right now, we don’t see everything under their control yet.

The purpose of the inner spirit man is control; control of the outer man and the world generally.

Interesting to see how therapeutic Christianity can be to our restless bestial nature.

Does Christianity really change the bestial makeup of man? Can Christianity succeed to quieten man's ambitions or emotions or passions or impulses which often overcome his sense of reasoning and drive man to anger sin and all?
Both man and beasts are animals, in the parlance of Biology. What is the difference between man and beast? is it merely the genetic makeup? Does the Bible have an answer to this question. The Bible's answer to this question will help to address the issue raised in the comment quoted above. How therapeutic can Christianity be to man's restless bestial nature; man's ambitions or emotions or passions or impulses, which often overcome his sense of reasoning and drive man to anger, sin and all.

Usual Christianity does influence man's ambitions or emotions or passions or impulses; albeit only temporarily. A man or woman may be full of dangerous ambitions or emotions or passions or impulses and then hears a gospel message preached by a man full of the Holy Spirit. Such a message could quench all those ambitions or emotions or passions or impulses. The only problem is that another kind of ambitions or emotions or passions or impulses could still rise up in the same person next time.

In this end time, God is making the principles of His kingdom clearer to His chosen servants. Christianity is about to depart from "usual" to "extra-usual". In my last thread, https://www.nairaland.com/4489388/purification-soul, I presented some principles that can change the bestial makeup of man. You will not be able to appreciate the power of the principles until you put them into practice. The problem though is that only someone who is baptized into Jesus Christ is guaranteed to experience the power of the principles when put into practice. The current thread is a followup on the previous thread.
