Any one with a valid idea of how much their total package is?

tanimola22: Corpers at ARM are considered as interns and earn anything below NGN120k/month. The salary may be near the 120k mark, or even more, depending on whether the corpers are a JJC in the field of investments or whether they already did something similar in the past and therefore can contribute to the firm, even as corpers.

First year analysts at ARM earn a wage of NGN3.6 Million/year. The company has a bias for recruiting advanced degree holders, with little or no previous finance/investment experience, as first year analysts. The best time to apply for analyst jobs is between December-March. In so doing, you stand a good chance of being invited for chats, assessments and technical interviews.

Finally, information available to me has it that the firm has lost a number of its analysts to other companies or to M7 business schools in the US. You would therefore not be wrong if you guessed that the firm might be looking to hire fresh analysts.

In any case, the firm is good and is one of the decent investment houses to work for in Lagos. AUM is NGN300 Billion; this is commendable by Nigerian standards.

onyemaanuforo: I did my assesment today @ bolingo hotel in abuja. Just 1 advice be urself and stop d numerous questions,it wld only make u nervous. It was quite tedious but we hope for the best. Started wit a short 20 questn test, then group discussion, competence based interview then a powerpoint presentation.

tnx for the update, but a few more precise pointers would truly be appreciated. like was the presentation about yourself or a given topic? What was the scope of the short test, a sample question of the competency interview etc. tanx in anticipation of your response.

AB Engine: I did my interview on the 8th of may by 4.00pm finally after rescheduling twice but it wasnt successful, because I got a mail afterwards informing me to try again in 12 months. Good luck to those who made it through. Make sure you extensively get knowledge of P&G, discuss your CV, and give appropraite examples in the context- occassion, action plan, result.
I hope it goes well sometime soon.

I dont know what criteria they employ to call people for interview but I can say this call thing isnt effective, because of her (A 'she' called me) delays in sending me the venue, i had to reschedule. I was scheduled for 11.00am Friday the 3rd, from an improptu call at about 8pm Thursday, 2nd. I am yet to know when I am rescheduled for. Hopefully everyone who got through will be called

Did you apply for the manager hiring gig or the NYSC finance? Asking cos it seems the manager hiring is subject to existing vacancies i.e when vacancy(ies) open up. Really hope we get called and scale through. Like your name by the way. Sounds cool. AB ENGINE

I wonder how the call for interview is being carried out. Successful candidates from the March 25th batch haven't all been contacted, yet those from the April 9th batch have been called. omicron: I do not support this crime, espcially as a Medical student is the alleged criminal, but when analysed legally, I can say that there is no evidence against the lad here. If he pleads not guilty, it will be wise. We cannot exclude the possibility of a third party here, who may be unknown to the benefactor of this crime, maybe someone desperate to help the boy, or someone wishing to put theboy in a big web. The point is, he's got an alibi...an escape route!

I dont know why its so hard to get an HSE job in naija. ive seen really few vacancies for entry level HSE officers. I might be wrong though maybe am not well informed, but i really must pursue a career in this field.

I second this talk. Rigzone usually advertises for experienced hire and more often than not the vacancies are outside the country. We need more home grown HSE jobs so as to gain experience.

SEIO OIL and GAS is one of them. After applying, i got a long email from a supposed staff telling me to drop small smtn so as to help facilitate my application. Saying, and i quote "in nigeria today its people with connections that get jobs". Imagine this coming from an organization!!!!!!? BIG SCAM
