GTB is very notorious for this.. I don't know why the writer was not mentioning them prominently.. Most of the digital banks won't charge you for USSD if the transaction is not successful. GTB should be cautioned to stop that practice.. what is the point of charging a customer for unrendered service. Even if the system is automated to charge anyone that dial the first code.. it should also be programmed to reverse the charges if the transaction fails, simple. I heard even some of his assets may be seized.. A good one... would serve as a lesson to all would-be briefcase investors parading as contractors everywhere, using padi Padi to steal from the system. Dear EFCC, kindly extend same punishment to all politically exposed persons stealing up and down.. anytime you catch them, seize all their known properties, sell them by auction till you recover the exact amount they steal, without wasting time. Others go learn. I heard one former governor you were prosecuting after a long run still moves around with tens of motor convoy and plenty security details.. Mob action is common in this clime because the people know they might not get fair justice if they hand over criminals to the authorities for prosecution. The criminal justice system needs some overhauling. Justice must be seen to be done to all case and not to the highest payer.. |

Did you hear what happened to that guy recently that said he had a divine message for one governor like that.. he went near the gate of the government house and he was shot and he's gone... they later claimed he had mental issues.. Campaign is different from political meetings o. While Campaigns usually involve very large gatherings and rallies, with posters and billboards.. it should not be misconstrued for political gatherings in small halls, and private buildings. They are looking for something to hide under in order to continually suppress oppositions. The crackdown should start from those APC stalwarts in Nasarawa esp along the Abuja axis who openly put up large campaign billboards for Governorship positions, with impunity. In the past, politicians only put up larger banners without party logo.. but APC is currently doing as they like with impuniy. 1 Like |

In 2014, when it seemed that President Jonathan's Supporters would attack those that were coalescing under the newly formed APC to oust him, he made a statement that nobody should attack anyone even those that insulted him, as his ambition was not worth any citizen's blood. The attacks died down. Since APC Supporters started attacking opposition ADC around the country, no APC member has criticised the action. Their body language suggests they are in support of the actions. Everything they do in that party continually put our Democracy in Danger on a daily basis. From infiltrating oppositions, to tampering with elections, and now attacking the Coalition across the country anywhere they gather, as against the Constitution of the FRN. It's sad. Every voice of reason should call the APC to order. They weren't treated this way. It's most unfair to bring out their attack dogs to be attacking or tacitly supporting the attacks of oppositions. If the security agencies too continue to look the other way or even support as has been seem in some quarters, more attacks would happen and it would cost innocent lives. Nobody's ambition is worth any citizens lives. Let us learn from other climes where human lives are precious. A word is enough for the wise, and the APC. |

They divided the people Then conquered them.. Then took all State Institutions, INEC, Police, Armed Forces, Judiciary.. They clamp down on opposition parties.. those they can't divide with intimidation and Inducement. Do not even as much as allow them gather let alone win their seat legitimately during off-cycle elections using State instruments. Now they pass whatever law and Taxes they want on the people... This story of 2015 would be told for generations to come.. Also of how a once giant nation lost a decade after that incident.. I personally do not feel any pity for Jonathan or any other member of the elite gang that collectively brought the country to its knees, and make the people poorer year after year, even worse still today.. Back to 2015, He (!Jonathan) chickened out because of threats from the northern political actors led by the late Buhari to bring down fire and brimstone if they are once again denied the opportunity to rule as they saw 2007 and 2011 as the North's turn to rule the country.
