enlightenedmind: I don't think protest is getting anywhere. Let us form civil societies across states but united in a common goal. We need to protect our country. The west will never let us have peace coz they want oil. Our politicians continue to be used as pawns and the corruption is supported. We need to form a strong alliance made up different state n regional needs from north to south. It is time.... What do u think? Like you said, we might need to have groups formed at every state so that they protest on matters that affect each peoples problems on a state level. For example if we have groups in edo and benue, they would protest against lack of government action on the fulani killings. South south states should protest against the removal of the lagos-calabar railway because they'll benefit the most, While lagos state group protests against the government for doing nothing on the closing of unilag. Each state have their own problems and each issue could be covered quicker with state by state organized groups. |

chukwudi44: This tinubu lapdogs have been silent since Buhari's iineptitude has plunged this country into darkness with the longest fuel scarcity ever now want to march to the NASS!! I laugh in amala!!
Fulani herdsmen has been killing people at random ,you didn't march and now because your masters unterests ins threatened you want to march!! You are OYO!!! If you like march from now till 2019 Saraki will remain the senate president Let's start protest with things that matter. Like lack of jobs for youth, or the fuel scarcity that has forced even unilag to close. Let the youths not start protest because Apc party chiefs are playing politics on who should be the senate president. How does this benefit any of us. |

Now go back to Somalia Nothing meaningful said, just pure hatred for the guy. Anyways that's your palava.... Politics › Re: a by Kellzcold: 8:18pm On Mar 09, 2016 |
I actually don't know why people hate him so much... I see the rest during their plenary sessions and no one has the respect and charismatic leadership that Saraki has. Who do people want to lead that senate ?? Is it Ndume ?? Because all those Lawan and Akume will never beat Ndume in a vote in the Senate. This senate is working harder than the previous senate, I'll much rather things remain as they are, there's no need for so much hatred of Saraki. |

Super1Star: That is the headache of Nigerians and not Buhari's.
If we all fail to protest this madness, na we sabi.
Nigeria is meant to be tightening her loins, and our elected NA members are still largessing.
Criminality is collecting 100bn as transport allowance and going ahead to approve another 45bn for themselves for purchase of vehicles.
Buhari was warned about his apathy towards NA election of his principal officers. The world can now see how inconsiderate and self centred Saraki is. Saraki is not the problem, it's the whole national assembly from both the senate and house. Even if you remove Saraki, the next elected person won't go against the whole senate and house to please buhari. Unfortunately buhari can't win this battle because of separation of powers |

And if he decided to buy a yacht, dat same person who asked dat question will also throw a blow at him for excessive luxury......

"Party before Candidate"
INEC counted votes for APC, PDP, KOWA, etc, not Audu, Wada...
Audu is dead, but APC is alive. Supplementary elections continue in Dekina LGA for all parties. So I guess this should have also applied in taraba state, where the people voted Pdp?? |

Alphaoscar: @ op, I beg to disagree because the part of the constitution you quoted clearly state that before the commencement of the election but in kogi state's case
1. There is a legally conducted election
2. Even the dead candidate voted and his vote was counted
3. More than 90% of the election is conducted already
4. And don't forget the candidate and his deputy contested on a joint ticket and thank God the other partner on the ticket ( faleke) is alive and well
5. The votes were voted and recorded for the party and not in the candidate's name.
6. The election to be conducted is just a supplementary election which can never void the main election.
7. election been inconclusive is not same as been invalid.
cc: adaweezy , tonyebarcanista , gbawe , Ngeneukwenu . So in other words, Tinubu's man will become governor.... Lol |
Politics › Re: Olufemi Olu-kayode Confirms Audu's Death by Kellzcold: 7:38pm On Nov 22, 2015 |
Joavid: Okay. But where is faleke from? I heard Faleke is a former commissioner to Tinubu when he was governor. I don't think that the deputy can become governor even when the election for audu is currently inconclusive. I think the deputy can only be declared if the governor dies in office and the other party can win the current situation on the grounds of the other party providing a candidate that is not healthy or fit to run for office... So either a new Apc candidate and an election re-run, or Pdp win on the grounds of Apc providing an unhealthy/unfit candidate. We've entered another lawyer zone again lol |
Politics › Re: Olufemi Olu-kayode Confirms Audu's Death by Kellzcold: 7:27pm On Nov 22, 2015 |
odiereke: Faleke would automatically become the executive governor. And Tinubu would have the state under his armpit. The deputy to audu is a former commissioner to Tinubu when he was governor right? So does this mean that the deputy can become governor even when the election for audu is currently inconclusive I thought the deputy can only be declared if the governor dies in office and the other party can win on the grounds of the other party providing a candidate that is not healthy We've entered another lawyer zone again lol |

I'm not a vivid supporter of any party, but I've noticed that APC wants to eliminate the opposition totally. I get that they want to revenge the suffering PDP did to them for so long, but how does removing competition help the common Nigerian people We need the opposition to remain a strong party so that APC will be on their toes, working hard to get the vote of Nigerians again in 2019. If there's no opposition, APC will behave anyhow they like, just like what PDP did when they had no strong opposition like APC. Like someone told me, we cannot have MTN as the only network because they'll rip us off, we need more GLO, AIRTEL and others to keep them competitive and ready to work for their customers. |
