Good morning all, please I want to find out something ; I applied for employment visa on 13th February and was told it would take six weeks to come out, but wen it got to the six weeks date, d person handling it told me that there is a problem wit the UAE immigration regarding issuance of work visa that it was suspended for d mean time so I am just worried cos I don't know if he is telling me the truth. truth is for me i would say its 30-70 probability of getting a good job ranging 4k to 8k aed pay per month...but whatever u come here to do ...in so far as u hv the determination to study relevant courses that suit what u ascribe to b i believe u can advance eventually..numerous guys here dont hv time to study n dont hv funds too....so even if u r a security guard but u study a certificate course in hospitality for e.g over time u will land a job...den u can grow


no b say u need to come in straight away looking for mech eng. job or bankerjob ...rara...instead try but if e no work n u land something around 3k u can para and manage den grow...

for all these cleaner jobs, office boi... et al...i dont subscribe...frustration go maga person....

all these people claiming hospitality jobs...na wash most times...office assistant na office boi..etc so shine eye...

there are good courses available with english tutors so u can even learn anything here if u hv cash and build from it...iata, safety courses, hospitality courses, pmp...


if u dont hv a degree n u dont hv business sense or acumen (actually trading sense) it is hard here in dubai to manage except u r exceptional in something unique to u...

these guys here that are employing don't really recommend nija guys so prove yourself...also never stay in one spot that's under 3k aed for too long except you grow in terms of quality and training and experience (like in my company)...make hay while the sun shines

that is why i no longer go to deira, the area is now being stalked by CID...and rightly so cos these our nigerians with no papers are serious nuisance...problem is they are picking up any black person without verifying if the person is leagal expat or not...

oh boy! your guy dey jail since early hours of thursday... i came to Deira from Abu Dhabi on wednesday by 12 mid night, the building i was in was raided from 1:30am by 2am i was taken to Naif police station. After i turned in my ID, at tge end i discovered that someone was impersonating with my ID and has a very serious case. I was released today but was called on phone to return to the station which i did. I'm still in jail using their wifi and the phone i came back in with.

You can arrange your residence visa and your wife and your children will be under your visa,so long as your sponsor writes 7000 or 5500 dirams on your salary certificate, that was how my hubby did our own,but you have to be there on ground to monitor them ooh,mmh dubai!!!,its just a 10days process,then we always monitored ours through www.mol.gov.ae,then when it comes out ,you can go for health test then get it stamped with 550dirams, that is if you don't want to exit and return to get it placed on your passport at the port of entry, I don't know if things has changed now but this was exactly how we did ours,i hope this helps

My dear,i suggest travelling to dubai via abu dhabi,thats ethihad airways.i have entered dubai severally without being asked for pocket money etc. After passing through the ebola screening machine ,then I normally proceed for a stamping in at the immigration port of entry,get the eye scan done that's all.i and my family have been taking that route for sometime, even.now that we are on residence visa. But I have someone who traveled tru abu dhabi last week and the person hadn't no money at hand but GTB ATM which is normally used to withdraw money in dubai cash dispensers, he was asked for his pocket money and when he showed them his ATM,they asked him to buy something with and he did that was all.i think abu dhabi is better especially for first timmers,i hope this helps.
