I used to say this a lot but I think it’s wrong to say that runs babes are carriers of diseases. Cos most of these women use protection and even when they don’t you are entitled to put on protection. Abeg don’t make our women look careless like you know them for sure drkay: If you’ll be coming to uae for job hunting, Pls try to run some basic laboratory tests before you start investing into that journey(hiv, HBV, cxr). And if you’ve been treated for tuberculosis in the past, you might just need to think twice before coming to search for job. And generally guys, We all know that most of those ladies doing runs are either on visit or don’t even have any valid visa. Some of them are reservoir of diseases oo so guys let’s be careful. The event that called for this advice was a very sad one. |

Guys my advice from the little I’ve seen is please kindly do your research well. I remember advising people on UAE way back in 2013/14. Now I no fit try am cos of the crazy things I hear about UAE and how they perceive Nigerians. Don’t be surprised that a few years from now UAE will become a place for Nigerians... that’s how the cycle always is in life so always look to other countries and research well. But in all things PRAY for guidance |

if you take the required courses for teaching in practice in UAE you do. if you do not well you could still get a job teaching. but sooner or later teachers who are not accredited in UAE and who do not have requisite requirements as per ADEC and KHDA will be removed from their jobs as UAE wants a minimum qualifications requirement for teachers herequote author=cutieme post=66685922]I only have bsc in science,do I stand a chance of getting teaching job there?[/quote] |

I advise anyone who can afford the taxi driver direct employment to try it. It's capital intensive and can exceed 1.5 million naira but the rewards are quite straightforward and beneficial as it is the government you're dealing with. For teachers in Nigeria who have bsc education and for nurses with 2 years post bsc experience you also stand tall in UAE. |

will not advise you to go to dubai without planning where and how to sleep etc. afterall you won't go to bayelsa without having a place to sleep will you? Sicilyjoe: Good, but what about people that don't have a place to put head after treking, the food and house rent, BTW the CVS u are talking about, is it the one u came in with from Nigeria or the one u prepare over there in uae cyber cafe ? |

Canterbury: thank you bro, I posted this because he warned me seriously not to come to Dubai that if I have paid for visa its either I withdrew or sacrifice it, that its not worth it, so I am kinda perplexed, is this a normal phenomenon or is he just unlucky. if you don't have a concrete plan in UAE you will fail bro. That your friend should go to deira and look for Nigerians who tie cargo daily. If he is a fast learner he will get paid 30-50aed per customer...then he can save up and pay rent. Maybe he can be luckier too Nd get help from others there |

stay in Nigeria military. but if you seek professional growth you have to start from somewhere. Starting from UAE may be a setback. So establish what you want first in life career wise hatbricker: Gentlemen please I have a question. between staying here in Nigeria military with a salary of 85k or going to Dubai to seek greener pastures which would you guys go for? |

Having a masters or Pgd gives you added points under the points based system bro. That's what i mean. And most of these countries use a points based system. Check the FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM thread on nairaland nickeyking: master degree don't count in Australia New Zealand or Canada , your master degree and first degree is the same point, don't forget your skill must be in demand, you will write an English test, have work experience, access your qualifications and you will have the required point before lodging an application, all of this you need enough cash to start all the process. and is not like you go immediately an get a job in Australia, New Zealand or Canada, But if check an and see you can meet the required point and you have the cash it will be better than UAE but if you don't have the money, you should go to UAE and raise the money later you can apply for those countries |

True,,, but do not forget that UAE is also harsh when it comes to living and working. If you come UAE you no see job na kasala. But if you process Australia, NZ, Canada na direct. Especially if you have a master's degree. I would say for anyone travelling out weigh all your options before coming to UAE. Do not forget that having a job in the same field in Nija as a your degrees person is very good when processing express entry for canada or Australia immigration.....anyway whatever works oluwarphemmy: That's a good idea brother... but how about the cash involved? Anything could happen if u comes over to UAE and then port to these countries from here which is quite easy compared to been processed from Nigeria cos ur international experience counts. My opinion though. |
