I have a female friend who runs an architecture firm in Dubai with over a 100 employee. Says her mom is her boss. I had contact with her when she sent me a message to inquire if it was safe for her to make purchase on a particular site due to my post about d site on scam advisers. Ever since then weve been communicating n she's totally honest with me. She's a Muslim n has a bfrd.

Recently I told her about wat my sister is going thru n she has promised to help my sister secure a job in Dubai n if my sister is interested I should send her CV to her n also said since no money on our end, she would pay ma sis ticket n my sis can pay back. She also said my sis can stay with her for sometime, though employers give accommodation.

My sis is a trained Auxiliary Nurse.

Pls op what do u think? Cos am yet to info her if to go on or not, cos I dunno what life is in Dubai. She n I have been communicating via whatsapp.

Not all companies, some companies cannot process your Employment visa if you are still within the UAE, after exiting that's when his Employment visa can be applied but be very careful with all these companies. They could abandon your friend there who knows, he should just be careful and smart. I'm not in any way discouraging you but there is no harm in trying.

I typed in the name of the company in question in google and they appear to have a facebook page which seems to be authentic, company appears to be based in Al Ain....assuming if its the same company.

Sorry your friend won't be allowed to even leave Dubai Airport if his Employment visa is not yet ready. He can only go to oman for visa exchange only if his Employment visa is ready and it will just be Airport to Airport, he can't leave Oman Airport, he will follow the same flight he flew from Dubai to Oman back to Dubai again.

So if his visa is still processing, then he can only take the Kish route but he should be careful because some companies abandon their employees there after asking them to exit from Dubai.

In that case I will assume you were interviewed by the companies and have an offer letter. Totaljobs is a popular site but I am not aware of career structure. Before you leave your job, make sure you have a job offer and a valid work permit. Also note that immigration into the UK is getting tougher.

I'll start.

I was on a connecting flight from Istanbul to Tel Aviv and I was flying with Turkish Airlines. I must admit, they have lovely planes. In flight entertainment and food is great. At the airport in Istanbul, I need to take a leak. Maaan, if you see the toilets there that day! Flooded floors, muddy flooded floors. The toilets had a very very bad smell. I walked in and took off! Tried another and same thing!! I mean I expect to see bad toilets at MMIA in Lagos and I'm always pleased when I don't. But this one was just terrible!!! Meeen, I hold my piss

I decided to use the toilet on the plane. So we boarded and I went to the toilet after holding my full bladder for about 2 hours. I tried to use the toilet and the flight attendant said it was closed until airborne. I thought "ok. At least 30 minutes max". What didn't kill me in 2 hours won't kill me in 2hrs 30mins. We took off about 30 mins later and then it happened.

If you see turbulence! The plane was shaking like no man's business. Pilot then anounced that due to turbulence, every one should remain seated with seat belts on. Ol' boy, after almoat 30 mins of seating and my bladder moving into the region of my ears ehn? The way I was praying, you would think the plane wanted to crash!! Just when I was about to jump up and kick the toilet door down, turbulence or no turbulence, the seat belt lights went off. If you see the way I charged into the toilet you would think I was purging.

If it was Arik that did this to me, I would have said it's not their fault. After all, Nigerians don't care about you once they take your money. But this was abroad.

Anyone else go through stuff like this?

Yes I blame some gay people for trying to mess with straight people. On the other hand maybe if gay people are recognised in the society, it will create a better platform for gay people to know each other. I believe this would grreatly reduce all these approach on straight guys.
