Please i would like to know if it is safe for nurses to try between june and july to hunt for jobs here in dubai

@Worry and odas : u ppl should cut ken1982 some slacks, he is right cos I used bayt to get a job while in nigeria. it's a great site. Once an employer on the platform like your profile, dey would call den set up a video call for your interview. but beware, u need to have more dan just a degree to get their attention cos of the volume of applications they receive. and also dubizzle.com is a better bet cos u kinda work directly with the employer.

I have a friend who used the dubizzle AD tool...she has gotten a job...

As per the Bayt the company will come for their funds soon as we approach sunday( a working day)...

so i guess i am in the process...

p.s: this message is for those who have no jobs yet and are willing to try out recommendations...I WILL PAY FOR BOTH SERVICES and the likes of GN Careers (50 AED)....It is my personal choice and i am sharing.....although i still have a valid contract but i can leave in 6 months...anyway

please for those in UAE looking for job...go to dubizzle.com and place an advert with details of the job u are looking for..they will deduct 2 dhs from your credit monthly.

also go to bayt (if u hv such funds) and subscribe for 1,2 or 3 months...3 months is 180 dhs....i hope it works.

if anybody in the house has made use of bayt or dubizzle in such a manner please enlighten us of your experience

some hotels (especially cheap ones in the deira axis) will not let you both stay together in the same room if you cannot prove that you are married. So ensure you take a copy of your marriage certificate with you.

most will tell u to drop your cv online...some u can convince them to allow u com to the office...


do not trust agencies who ask for money...most are fake

It all depends on you, how you network, the people you associate with, your intelligence, your manner of approach, the resources you have(money), most importantly, God's plan in your life.

if u really want to com den don't expect too much....i will tell u my opinion...most of us who hv jobs are not better qualified than those in Nigeria...i think we are lucky and blessed...i hung out wit ugsams recently and i realised many of us were privileged by The Almighty to get a job here...ask Ugo...all my roommates are jobless and may b caught and deported any day anytime...

i was connected through a class mate during nebosh...ugsams has his story...infact he was a professional in the media n comms field in nija but now he's in a very different field...i guess from all the ansas we contributors give here that most of us guys n ladies just got here at the right time...

so for those of u guys coming...from my experience if u hv something u r pursuing in nigeria and it is putting food on your table or cloths on your back ...STAY BACK HOME...As Ugsams says...if u r here for 2-3 years n u do not hv plans to switch to europe or america then u hv a SURE job.,..meaning ur company cannot do without u...or u r doing illegal biz...that is d main inference i will give

well as far as chemistry goes i believe i hv no single knowledge of your career field or prospects...

as for certifications...wise people only read and study what is in line with their capabilities, interests etc...so google up n do research...

as for telling u everything u need to no... , that's kind of a lazy way of saying u hv not read this thread...from even page 28-30 u will learn something...

You need to do some research yourself.
Read back through this section and you will learm much, then you can ask detailed questions.
We have hundreds or people saying "tell me everything" too many to answer every day with the same question.
