The picture below is our experimental farm. On the farm is our viable plantain stem of 9weeks old. checkout how healthy they are. Free of any type of pest. The second weeding was accomplished a week ago and next week we would be applying herbicide to further kill the weed. At this stage, one of the things you need to do to make the fruit grow into a big bunch is control weed. Weed on the farm land compete for nutrient with the suckers thereby reducing nutrient reup take into the sucker. Contact us today for our pest free suckers and in the nearest future your plantation will be like the picture below...... call: 08038623884 We would display the picture of the plantation after killing the weed with herbicide cheers!!

To restore fertility, the organic matter in the soil should be raised as high as possible during the fallow period by planting an improved fallow (for example, a leguminous cover crop. You can also leave the uprooted weed on the farm land. The weed decompose leading to microbial activities which improve the soil Organic content. We are still in the Business of selling improved variety hybrid suckers @afordable price.......contact us |

Now the new one is not changing to gear 2.......if it change to gear 2 it uses force and often time it doesn't enter gear 2. I have leaked out the seahorse in it and replace with Oando oil yet problem persist ........I Am suspecting the solenoid. Because it has displayed this symptom just after installing the gear box and the gear specialist replaced the solenoid and it started working great. the problem started just after the next day I traveled with the car to Imeko, Ogun state ( 8hrs journey) what your advise can you help me get a good solenoid? |

Greetings to our esteem customers and followers. We visited our experimental farm after 3weeks of weeding. Check the pix below to view how much weed has taken over the farm. If your farm weed has also taken over your crop, this is not ideal for the crop. Because the weed are feasting on the nutrient meant for the crop. If the weed is not eradicated as soon as possible, the effect will be translated in the fruit which may not be big enough. However, to solve this, just hand weed using hoe. after weeding down the weeds leave the weed on the farm to decompose. Also, after two weeks of hand weeding, apply Herbicide to further kill the already germenating weed again so that your farm will stay off weed for another 6weeks. cheers!!!!

Study outcome of interest to your plantain plantation Studies by Obiefuna and Swennen and Wilson showed that mulching gave higher and more sustained yield in field-grown plantain than did unmulched controls. According to Bhattachrayya and Madhava Rao soil covers are beneficial to the plantation crops such as plantain because of their capacity to conserve moisture and make the moisture available over a longer period. IITA (10) reported a yield increase of about 400% of a mulched plantain plot over that of unmulched fertilized plot (22.8 t/ ha vs 4.8 t/ha) at the end of the fourth year. We at kenfarm is committed to bringing to your notice info capable of enhancing your yield for a bountiful harvest. cheers!! |
pat077:if I conduct a soil test on your farm soil it will give us adequate knowledge of your soil, then I can categorically respond YES or NO However, have it in mind that when you intercrop, you give room for competition between the crops. If your soil fertility is poor and proper amelioration is not done, I can assure you both crop will have poor yield. soil fertility test gives you the opportunity to manage your crop and soil adequately cheers!! |
kenfarm is pleased to inform you that we are still in the Business of establishing farm, managing farm and supplying viable TME419 cassava stem. make hast as the rain will soon subside. |

may interest you to know that the following also destroy soil fertility: 1. Erosion: Erosion wash away the top soil which is rich in organic content there by exposing the top soil to high rate of era transpiration. It also wash away nutrients in the soil making the soil loose and lack essential nutrients. If the soil has not been put to use for 50yrs, have you been preventing erosion on the soil for 50yrs? 2. Poor organic content in the soil 3. High percentage of sand and low percentage of clay in the soil 4. Climatic condition of the farm location 5. Reduced Microbial activities on the soil as a result of intense bush burning during land preparation or due to unfavorable environmental condition. 6. Etc Contact kenfarm for a detailed soil analysis 09091405861 or kenfarm2020@gmail.com |

Check below a research discussion carried out by a research Institute in collaboration with kenfarm The outcome is of great interest to our esteem client especially at this raining season when the Number of suckers per stand multiply increasingly This research outcome has clearly shown that the number of suckers allowed to grow alongside the main plantain plants significantly affected the growth and overall yield of plantain in the study area. The more the number of suckers per plant, the lower the yield obtained. While taller plants were obtained in the multiple suckers than the zero or one sucker plants, bigger stems and higher number of leaves were obtained from the zero or one The results obtained from bunch weight, finger weight and number of fingers per bunch and other yield factors consistently showed that multiple sucker plants performed lower than either the zero or one sucker plants. These results agree with those earlier reported that average bunch weight increased with decreased planting densities ( Robinson and Singh 1974, Kesayan et al. 2002, Nalina et al. 2003 and Abdallah et al. 2010). It had also been pointed out that manipulation of plant spacing gave direct influences on plantain finger size and low yeild (kenfarm et al., 20169) Hence, we advise our esteem followers and client to desucker their plantain plantation farm leaving only 1 or 2 suckers per stand. It an avenue for you to make more cash by selling of the excess suckers or transplanting them. If you need suckers that multiply at a very fast rate per stand ?Contact kenfarm today via the number on my signature or through email: kenfarm2020@gmail. com |
I have been ask numerous time by my esteem followers if TME419 cassava is good for producing garri ?I have said it before and am reiterating that any cassava tuber can be used for garri.......the level of starch content in the garri depends on method of processing. There are ways/practise that can be adopted to reduce the starch content of your garri. Cassava tubers that are used for fufu(akpu) production are best when the starch content is high. Because the Higher the starch content the more the fufu will be desired for consumption. The only challenge you may have with your cassava tubers is if allow the tubers to stay longer than necessary in the soil it may rotten. Thus, make hast to place your oder for our viable TME419 cassava stem at a friendly price. cheers!!! |
jethro2:You have said it all If you want to get garri out of TME419 cassava tubers, the garri processor know what to do to reduce the starch content........Beside fufu is of great value when prepared from tubers with high starch content kenfarm is still in the Biz of selling TME419 cassava stem....make hast .... check my signature for our customer care contact |

When your farm is in a community where 99%are also farmers, getting worker to work for you is a problem because at land preparation/planting season that you need them most, they will all be attending to their own farm. If you import workers, it even more expensive ........my experience so far |

karlxavier:The yield of your farm in tones depends on lots of factors like: 1. how much care was given during pre-planting and post planting operation 2. type of fertilizer and Qty applied 3. how fertile your soil is 4. how viable the stem is 5. the variety you cultivate just to mention few so if all these factors determines your yield in tones, it means no figure Quoted would be correct 100% as far as yield is concern. Rather than bug yourself with expected yield, do your home work to ensure the above listed factors are to your advantage. Farmers never run into lose in AgricBiz except the farm produce is ripped off either by crop rubbers which may be man or pest. ....... together we can eradicate food shortage in Niaja and beyound |

costeve:50kg per acre, but then, the specific Qty to apply on your farm is determined by the outcome of your soil analysis |
2nd Operations: Tilling and hipping sand round the growing suckers We tilled our experimental farm at the same time hip sand around the base of the 3weeks suckers. The tilling was done to loosen the soil to enable the growing root spread easily under ground. If the soil is loosen it enable the root extends and be deeply rooted into the soil. When the root of the suckers is deeply rooted, it reduce the chance of the suckers been fell down by heavy wind. It also increase the rate of nutrient absorption which indirectly increase the bunch of the plantain. Kenfarm wish to recommend Tilling of the soil as either a pre-planting or post planting operations. Nevertheless, we also hip the top soil around the base of the growing suckers to ensure that the sucker root that are gradually been exposed due to rainfall are buried properly. Hipping top soil round the base of the growing suckers also prevent pest attack on the root. N.B: stay posted. A picture of our growing sucker will be posted here after my next visit to the farm so our followers can see the positive effect of tilling their farm and hipping top soil round the base of the growing sucker.
