And people still wonder why Igbos are scapegoat in this administration................... This is a lost battle from beginning. Don't start a fight you can not finish.

Even a primary 6 holder is qualified to be president according to Nigerian constitution.

GEJ with his incumbent power wasnt interested in Buhari Waec certificate case because he knows the constitution and aware that Buhari sat for waec exam.
GEJ and his political advisers were NOT sstupid to ignore it. He should have pursued this case instead of wasting billions to contest with Buhari.

The kind of argument you guys throw out is simply why i don't believe in Nigerian education. So the president is above clearing himself or what? The issue is that PMB says he has the certificate and the someone is saying produce it. is it suppose to be a big deal? is that why he should hire SANS?

Too bad. I can't believe this. How can Buhari go this far to delay defending himself? is this not exactly how Saraki was trying to use technicalities to delay his trial? How can the president not just show his certificate and put haters to shame?
I hope he is not using the country's fund to pursue this case?
Buhari, don't let me believe that this your integrity posture is bullshit after all. It would be the greatest fraud i have ever seen.

For now, i believe this is not true.

Without getting into so much of your details, you want to get our economy free from resource dependency?... How do you get that under a unitary federal system that we practice today..... I am talking practical reality.

The only hope is true federalism, that is the only way we can be less dependent on oil. Let me break it down for you.

Under True Federalism, the governors wont be running cap in hand every month to Abuja for allocations. They will sit their ass down and figure out ways to make the states and regions viable. Every region is this country has resources and potentials to be great but there is no incentive or motivation to tap into these potentials where there is some free lazy oil money available for sharing in the name of allocation.

Let every people manage their potentials and resources and grow at their pace. Lets allow healthy competition across the various regions. That would drive tribalism and nepotism to the ground as we are not grappling for common resources. Niger Delta should be allowed to manage their resources and contribute some percentage to the FG.

Listen, nobody sabotages his own property. Militants will not bomb pipelines under their custody. Patriotism at the regional level will be galvanized for speedy growth. The gains are immense. Infact, no progressive democracy in the world practices the rubbish unitary FG system we run here.

Under True federalism, some regions might struggle for a while but Nigeria's economy will bounce back in less than 3 years and will only get stronger from there. Unfortunately, without true federalism..... Nigeria is gone forever.

Imagine a business partnership where a partner has sworn from the onset that such business will never succeed and sabotages every effort to make gains. No such business ever survives and that is the Nigerian case, Bokoharam will disturb a southern president while militants will disturb a northern president.

Thank you. I did not see your response before i even replied him. Some people forget that fever is a symptom of some many sickness therefore if one has fever, it is not enough to drink paracetamol to suppress the fever but you must have to eliminate what is causing the fever in the first place else it will return.
For Nigeria to be great, we must solve the problems from the foundation and not from the roof.

I have news for you.

Even without the bombing, even with true federalism.....we will still have a depreciating naira.

For the simple reason that oil is at $50 per barrel.....not at the $120 per barrel we need it to be to make the naira go to 114 to $1.

We don't have enough forex. And the irony is that zero bombing, true federalism= lower oil prices(due to increased production)=naira depreciates further due to lower amounts of orex.

What we need to do now is simple. Face the fact that oil money is not enough.....and get our economy free from resource dependency. Simples.

Bros, you keep muddling issues up. How can we truly get our economy free from oil if we don't practice true federalism. Do you think that these governors will think when they have free money coming from Abuja every month? Since we have been talking of economy diversification for the past 2 decades, why have we not been able to achieve that? Think about it.
It is only possible on paper to diversify the economy in this present structure.

@ bold - illogical argument. The same argument can be made for the whole country, including the FG. Whatever they do with their resources is no one's business.

The whole scrounging business the insufficient oil is breeding is counter-productive. Ibadan is a classic example of everything wrong with oil. That was a city built during the latter days of colonial rule and in the first republic with money from cocoa. However, the city has stagnated since oil was dicovered with amala politics/mentality cos oil breeds lazy people/thinkers and everyone is out for stipends from oil for owanbe parties.

Another oil curse is how lazy most Yoruba people have become. I remember vividly that last year during the Oba-of-Lagos-gate, some idi.iotic and ignorant Yoruba chic posited an utterly disrespectful post that Yorubas lack the mental business acumen to make any Yoruba city thrive and Yoruba only produce the lands and conducive environment for business to thrive, while the Igbos are the brain. And you've to wonder how come the same Yorubas who own at least 80% of Nigerian businesses in diaspora (over 90% in the UK) lack the fundamental skills to thrive in business in Nigeria. The answer to that is the oil and the generation of lazy Yoruba folks it continues to breed in Nigeria, thus disgracing the industrious/creative Yoruba folks doing well outside the shores of the country.

Give these people their oil and get back to what we do well as a people. You lot are disgracing us.

Thank you jare. For the fact that we as a nation are ready to spill blood because of oil makes me ashamed. I will be proud of a country where people use their own resources, talents and skills to make a living than one that depends on another man's resources and even willing to spill blood because of it. nobody is just thinking in this country, just oil money.

Militancy occurs when there's a lack of social justice in the soceity. If a section of the society(Niger Delta) believe they're not being treated fairly (resource exploitation), they're bound to oppose their oppressors (the federal government) not minding the expense (environmental degradation).
The question we should ask is how do we promote social justice in Nigeria? Why aren't Nigerians concerned about the situation of the country? Violent activism are a norm in Nigeria and they will continue. Why?

Nigerians should look at the big picture and ask themselves why this country is prone to internal conflicts, violence, tensions and militancy? Millions of Nigerian lives have been lost due to these issues but Nigerians are not willing to ask why these things always happen? Its really annoying. In advanced countries, the preservation of human life and a peaceful soceity is sacrosanct, and this is achieved by promoting social justice and equity.

Nigeria and Africa as a whole are not problem solvers. We rather bring out cosmetic solutions instead of digging deep, applying solutions that kill the problem once and for all. I get worried about the type of country we will leave behind for our children at this rate. Will it worth it?

Resource control isn't the problem! The problem of Nigeria has always hinged on leadership..without devoted and inspiring leadership; even if we practice federalism, it. Would still fail! Name one credible politician from SE/SW/SS or North?? Federalism WOULD have made sense then. When leaders from each region were fighting just course....Give resource control of oil to SS/ND and watch how tompolo, Asari, ateke, timi alaibe and co ud clash...Resource control is good, don't get me wrong, but some persons ud use it to advance selfish course...Same goes for Biafra..

That should not be our business. Let them control their resources, it will be surprising to you how others will be better off without oil. If Sudan had not freed South Sudan, maybe the whole world would have thought that South Sudan is been oppressed by Sudan at least we know better now.
Give back ND their oil, if they want to kill themselves, let it be and it shouldn't be our problem except the rest of Nigeria cannot do without oil money then it will be a shame on all of us.

You stoked away in Europe and shouting biafra, if they mean business, let them all return to nigeria and support their leader who's paying for his sins against his country.

What do you mean? The Scottish that voted to leave the UK are miscreants? I want Nigeria to be a united country but not by force. I will prefer a conference where all the components discuss and agree to be in one country. This will lead to negotiations and concessions. We all agree to the formula, the issue of marginalization settled, it becomes our constitution and everybody is happy. Then we can develop instead of being tied down with problems without end.

If the UK had sent troops to shut dissenting voices in Scotland instead of a referendum, maybe UK will be at war now. Don't be surprised, majority in the east may not want biafra but how will we know? The more you clamp down on them, the more they see the desire to quit the union.

If Biafra after losing 2 million people is still alive, what makes you think it is something that will go away with threats and intimidation? I get so ashamed that Africa cannot solve simple problems in this century. We are always willing to waste souls over things that can be approached differently. Is it Until some idiots throw away their conscience and start planting bombs all over the country and set it in turmoil with innocent people dying before we realize that this is not the right approach?

Some of you guys supporting the Army are inviting dangerous consequences. I am not supporting IPOB but we must handle this issue with wisdom. Army shooting at protesters is wrong. If we have not learnt anything from terror groups all over the world, we have learnt that just small group of people can destroy a nation. It is easy.

IPOB as at today has not shown they want to go the terror route but constant Army killings may push them into it and this will be bad news for us all. In this era of cheap dirty bombs, no where is safe. We were lucky, boko haram restricted their madness to the north, what if they started planting bombs in the south, what would have happened? That would have been more casualty.

You cannot solve secession issues with violence. People who are fond of supporting this killings, know that if this spirals out of control, you may be a casualty. There will be no safe haven.

1) How can I receive funds from amazon associates?
A: You can receive your funds via Payoneer as Amazon is one of their partners.

2) How can I receive funds from amazon seller central?
A: Same answer as above.

3) Can I use my account as a Bank Account? Because I need to add a US Bank account to my Amazon sellers account, can I do that with my Payoneer account?
A: Yes, you can. Click on your account (eg Bank450's Account) at the top right and edit your bank account information.

I want to do a payoneer card to card transfer from the "Make a payment" page but i get this prompt " This service is not currently open for your account" What is the cause? What should i do? It is a newly funded account.

Of course.....everyone will blame Buhari, Jonathan, the IMF, the Chinese, the Illuminati, the Islamists, the Zionists, the Nazis, the Communists, the Socialists, the dog lovers club, the Rugby players fan club, the cows on the street, the egg in their plate, the sugar in their garri, their ancestors, true federalism, true regionalism, etc.........and avoid the real reason......oil resource dependency

And no....true federalism won't solve it.....especially as it does not answer the corruption question, and it only at best creates regions dependent on the sale of raw materials whose prices they do not control......and yes.....agriculture does not bring in much cash....and mining is just like oil.

The problem with Nigerians is that we think that Government exists to put cash in our pockets every month. That is why we blow up pipelines, fight each other in the name of religion, and complain about how many Hausas there are in government (And for those complaining about Muslims in govt....back in 1989....there were far more Muslims in govt than there are now. Nigeria did not become an Islamic country)...because we want to eat money at the end of the month. And I bet you when this country splits....we willbe fighitng each other for the resources. Anyone who does not think that is going to happen is blind.(Sorry.....but facts is facts).

Nigeria needs to forget about oil, forget about making a living from selling raw materials and sharing the money to go and import everything....including things we can make here in this country....and should START on the road to becoming a manufactruing country. Because...that is the only way we can truly control the strength of our currency.....not these stop gap measures CBN is doing now. Are we going to make the sacrifices needed to become that kind of a country.....or are we going to keep on fighting each other for oil money which we have no control over anyway....including the so called owners.

Oil, agric, etc will never save us. Time we woke up. Powerful countries....are countries that rely on innovation and heavy industry. We better wake up to that fact....whether as one Nigeria....or as split up.

You have a point but you are muddling things up. Fighting corruption is easier in a decentralized govt arrangement than in this centralized system we are practicing. This country is too big and diverse to be run this way. If we were white people, it wouldn't have been a problem but you can never remove the black mentality from us.

Secondly, we cannot forget about oil in this present structure. Abuja sharing revenue every month is just a recipe for laziness. But with true federalism, people will have no choice than to be innovative because no more oil revenue to share.

Corruption is a problem but our biggest problem is the structure of this country which in itself is helping corruption to thrive. No matter who is president, we will keep running round the circle until we tackle the problem from the foundation.

Aren't we all tried of all these problems, militancy today, terrorism and Boko Haram tomorrow. These problems always appear for a reason, they are not just there. Why can't Nigerians come together and ask ourselves what the problem really is? Why is everybody complacent, docile and unconcerned about the national question. Everybody thinks corruption is Nigeria's problem.

The national question is a bigger problem than corruption. How can we live together and share governmental responsibilities without much problems? That is the question.

You voted Buhari to fight corruption. OK, he's fighting corruption but isn't there a bigger problem facing the country now? Militants have reduced government revenues by a quarter all because of what? The NATIONAL QUESTION!!!

Let Nigerians continue to act like they don't care, that we are one fantastically united country and that corruption is our major problem. Militants, Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram will keep teaching y'all a lesson.

Thank you soooo much. We like deceiving ourselves in this country. How can we be doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result?
No matter who is president until we all sit down and answer this NATIONAL QUESTION, we will never have peace. The highest he can do now is send the military to commit genocide but it will never solve the problem.

Will greed allow our leaders to change the structure of this country? or will they continue to force the same system on us? Only time will tell.

I can assure you that in a million years, you would not be able to confront or challenge the west, so you better learn how to elect leaders that are smart enough to leverage western developmental technologies and policies for african development.
Japan and korea for example has handed over their national defences to the control of the united states in return for large american investments. The US gets allies and a sure foothold in south-east asia against communist china, while the japanese and koreans gets western aided economic development and western level prosperity in return, and i am sure their well-fed, prosperous citizens have not regretted it ever since.
Hating the west is madness. The most prosperous nations in the world are either western nations or proped up by the west.

Gentlemen and Ladies,

At what point (P), Time (T) and Moment (M) should we stop this blame game? There is no right thinking person that will say the last Administration did well but PMB was voted to correct the wrong and make things better not worsen the situation.

All we hear is blame, blame and excuses. PMB was not begged to take the job,he hustled for it and got it. If he know he is not capable of turning things around, then he should move his ass out of the Aso rock and allow other to try. After all some leaders resign honorably in other parts of the world.

Make no mistake, i am not entirely putting all the blame on him but this whining has to stop. If we keep accepting blames and excuses, we will never get anywhere. he is not the only leader who is taking over a Nation that is down, it is someone that lifted America out of the great depression, someone transformed Singapore and South Korea etc. They did not keep whining before they pulled their country out of danger.

It is disappointing to see educated people keep making excuses for PMB. The easiest thing for someone to do is to point fingers at others and make excuses for their failures but note that THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR FAILURE. The earlier you supporters shun blame game and start pressuring him to transform this country, they better for your all. he will only be remembered from what happens from the day he took over to the day he leaves office.

First of all, I never believed in GEJ from day 1 because I believe the post of the presidency should be for people with a visible track record which I did not see and this is why I never bother myself to vote in elections in this country cos its just from shit to shit.
Now, there is no excuse for failure. If you have been a top executive in a fast paced Multinational business, you will understand the no excuse policy and it is applicable to every aspect of our lives.

You guys keep calling GEJ, GEJ as the problem of PMB but this is bullshit. Let me give you guys an example.

Company AA has been going down due to poor management. In the last 4 years, share price have dropped, profit dropped 30%, Operating capital is down, dividends to share holders is down and a host of other problems. Shareholders had a meeting after the last poor end of year result and agreed to sack the MD, Mr John for non performance. Though Mr John pledged to be given more time to transform the business but the share holders will hear none of that. A top human resource consultant was asked to recruit a replacement of Mr John.
Mr James who has been applying for this post long time ago to this company applied again to take over and this time he was invited for an interview.

Interviewer: Mr James, our company is going down and we need someone to halt the slide and take us back to the top.

Mr James: Yes, I can do it. I have managed so and so company and took them to high profitability. * Lists all his qualifications and achievements*

Interviewer: Can you bring us back to the top?

Mr James: I have studied your financial report and I know where your problem is. I will solve the problems and bring your company back to the top.

Interviewer: Okay Mr James. We will make you comfortable. With N1 Billion food allowance, private Jets for your use, house in Aso Rock, fleet of cars and all the pecks of office to help you do your job.

Mr James: Thank you for the confidence you have in me.

**Mr John was disgraced out of office and Mr James gets the Job to replace him**

Mr James gets to company AA, sack all the top directors he met and recruited his own team. He got new HR director, Sales director, Finance director, technical director etc. and work resumed.

At the end of the first financial year appraisal, Company AA is doing worse than expected. Profit has gone further down to 50%, dividends to share holders is no longer possible cos no money, sales down, in fact the company’s condition is even worse than before.
After an emergency share holders meeting, Mr James was in invited to answer questions on the state of the company.

Shareholders: Mr James, you have failed the company. you couldn’t even halt the slide instead it got worse.

Mr James: No it is not my fault. The past MD, Mr John is responsible for the problem. He badly managed the company before now

Shareholders: We are aware of the rot and that is why you were hired to stop the slide and return us back to profitability. You have so far failed.

Mr James: The past MD was corrupt, he killed the company and that is the problem. The problem is too much. ***Keeps talking about the last MD***

Shareholders: Mr James, you are aware of the problem before you took this offer. We did not impose it on you. We are not giving you N1 billion feeding allowance and other mouth watering pecks to continue the havoc. We employed you to solve the problems not give excuses. You have failed.

Gentlemen and Ladies, we all know that GEJ messed up this country and was rewarded with sounding defeat at the polls but if Nigeria were a company with shareholders waiting at the end of the year to get their money, will the president continue giving excuses for not being able to handle the problems? In my world, there is no excuse for failure. If we keep throwing back the blame, at some point, the blame will get back to God for creating man.
PMB should better buckle up and come up with solutions to the problems of this country and I do not care how he does it all we want to see is clear results.

A Belgian friend once told me African leaders lack the capacity to solve problems though i never accepted that comment from him but deep down in me i know it was the truth. What is so difficult in calling a real national conference devoid of politics where we will all seat down and talk about this country? For how long are we going to keep enduring from one problem to another? yestersday, it was NDVF, MOSSOP, MASSOB etc, today it is NDA, what is it going to be tomorrow?

Why can't we seat down and agree we want to be together as a nation and work out a constitution where all components of these country will agree to? If we can't be together, when can't we disintegrate? How many people are in Luxembourg? are they not one of the richest people in the world living happily? Is it better to have a big giant good for nothing country where citizens queue up at European and American embassy as early as 4am to beg for visa than having a small prosperous country?

If the UK that created this country, a world power, permanent member of the UN security council, Nuclear armed nation can even brace up for the idea of a total break up despite Scotland being autonomous, why must it be difficult for Nigeria to break if it is what it takes to have peace?

I am not advocating for a break up but anybody who loves Nigeria should push for a structural reformation of this country. This country is long overdue for people to renegotiate her existence instead of spilling too much blood. if every region has to be autonomous or a total breakup, then no problem. But does an African and her leaders have the capacity to solve any problem?

PMB is always like to portray himself as a saint in the midst of corrupt people at any opportunity. He wants to form sincerity but This kind of questions are answered diplomatically. For example one of the answers to the questions should have been something like

"Corruption is a global issue affecting us all. Some steal money, take it out of the country while some accept stolen money into their system. We are very much affected by this scourge. My administration is fighting it head on. We have increased the pace of which we are punishing people involved in corrupt act and also creating systems that will checkmate corruption to happen in the first place. We will definitely win the battle"

Instead of saying they sat down and shared $2.1 b. Was he there when they shared it? Or has the court convicted anyone yet? This looks like a beer parlor answer. we can talk about specifics in house but not talking carelessly outside. You don't join outsiders to amplify issues about your problem but try to diplomatically water it down. Every body knows our corruption is worst than all the other countries put together but we can't just join others to blow it to our face let alone coming from the number 1 man. Buhari should learn how to talk about our issues especially to foreigners. This is bad.

This article was probably written by Tiwa herself trying to keep her name on the lips of the public.

I get tired of educating nairalanders, the work is too stressful.

Ok. She is an entertainer. Her personal life is different from her public persona.
Who remembers Goldie when she was on big brother? All she did was cook, clean, kiss Prezzo and wear regular dresses. If I didn't know she was a celeyeyebrity beforehand I would've mistaken her for any average Oluwabimpe. However on Sundays during eviction shows she always transformed into the Goldie all Nigerians recognize. Many times Prezzo watched her music videos and kept wishing silently he lived with the Goldie on the screen and not Oluwabimpe who scrubbed floors like a housegirl.

Using my stated example we can deduce the black nyash, tight fitted cloth wearing, thong wearing Tiwa Savage we see on stage is completely different from the ever nagging, hardly cooking, "honey I've a headache, no sex tonight", non-makeup wearing, scarf tying Tiwatope[insert legal last name here] who chucked Teebillz out her life like discarded toilet paper.

Every man wants to _fuck Tiwa Savage(the stage persona) but nobody wants to live with Tiwatope because she's no different from other women.

People always hide under entertainment talk to hide show their wayward lifestyle. A decent person will never do nonsense even if he or she becomes a celebrity or entertainer. When these pictures first showed online sometime ago, some people were defending her saying that her husband like it etc. Maybe the guy didn't like it but could not talk out of respect, fear or just trying to maintain peace. Otherwise, how can a man openly accuse his wife of sleeping with colleagues if he hasn't lost his trust for his woman as a result of these slutty lifestyle.

No African born man will like to see his wife in a slutty state whether celebrity or not except we just want to deceive ourselves. Even the worse of guys wants to marry and be with a decent lady. The truth is that you can be a celebrity and still maintain decency. Period!!!

The competition has started....

Soon....them salesmen would be outdoing one another to see who can sell at the lowest price possible.

Who will compete with who? These independent marketers have a solid union. They will fix their uniform prices and there is nothing anyone can do. Why has diesel prices remain in the same price band ever since? Crude has fallen, deregulated diesel should also have fallen at least to give us an indication how PMS will be but reverse is the case.

Do not raise your hope high bros. A country founded on greed from top to bottom cannot be trusted. Good policies work else where but never work in this country. mark this post, we are not gonna see any benefit of this shit.

I don't know what buhari will achieve by cursing civil war in Nigeria

Those omenka boys will come support his Fulani boss

You guys should face the topic and stop calling Omenka's name. He has the right to support anybody, air his views and hate anybody. I respect his views though he is also very tribalistic but then that is our character in Nigeria. you can counter him directly and not mention him or any other person's username.

Na only nursery school kids full NL this early morning. They left the topic to be making noise about avengers or no avengers. Smh

All these silly write ups are western paid journalist whose sole agenda is to ridicule nigerian, drive away foreign investors and thereby force us to remain poor and keep begging for their loans. I have said it before, this in nothing but international politics, punishment for dining with china! Period.

You are right, all our problems are from the western world. They told our leaders not to build quality roads, high speed trains, good schools, good health care system, electricity, refineries etc. In fact, when our leaders go abroad, they tell them never to make Abuja look like Washington D.C and Lagos look like Amsterdam and they must send their children to their schools and hospitals. They also tell them to embezzle money so that we will suffer.

You see this the western world hate us and China will tell our leaders to do all these good things so that Nigerians will enjoy.
